I so second this. I’ve noticed that Hadyen has not been working on FS for a long time, so I really hope that Anet will soon fix this It’s horrible for us that have gotten used to their world with peripheral vision to have to go back to one screen. I almost feel like I’m disabled in some way :/
Please ANet, fix this like the link above showed that you planned to do in the next “few updates”. That was 6 months ago …..
Same here. Anet said they were “working on it with AMD” during launch. It’s taking them an awful lot of time. Maybe because they knew that we had FW? I hope they see this and respond.
Hey all.
I’m looking for an EU guild that is PvP/WvW oriented, but still doesn’t require people to be online at certain times. I have a busy life but love gaming and use every opportunity to jump in and play. Personally I’m kind of fed up with PvE grind and would like opponents with a brain instead of 0101001. I am an avid gamer, mostly pvper, been playing since I was 41 (32 years old today). I have a super computer (eyefinity, 100mb fiber, gaming everything etc (costed me around 4000 dollars)) and I play to win when I can play. I got a lvl 79 Engineer, 51 warrior, 31 thief and 20 something Ele on Gandara.
I’m looking for a mature guild, quite populated so that enough people are online at every time for a good group of WvW/sPvP. I am a good PvPer, have competed at an international level in CS and was in n0 in GW1.
So what I’m seeking is basically a medium/high populated PvP/WvW oriented guild that doesn’t make requirements of playtime, but loves a good player when he’s available.
Is there such a guild out there?

Regards,
My suggestion involves resurrection (not downed). It has happened to me on more than a few occasions that when I die and go AFK, people come again and again and resurrect me. Once I came back and my entire armor was broken, I had been resurrected so often while AFK and killed again.
Please add confirmation to if one wants to be resurrected, which is a common feature in many MMOs. That will prevent this from happening and allow players better to choose if they want to be resurrected or not.
Thanks for your answer. I’ll try that.
Ok, I’ve seen the bug post below here, but this one is of an entirely different nature.
There’s something wrong with the missions difficulty. As soon as the attack of the lumbercamp is over, which is fine, nicely balanced, a HUGE army of around 30-40 guys attack the gates.
I let the NPC’s run in first, but they are killed in a matter of seconds. The undead army also moves like a hive mind, so when I attack one person, the entire army attacks me and I’m killed in seconds.
I’m a pretty good player if I say so myself with a massive MMO and PvP experience, so you can be sure that I’m not calling for carebear here.
I doubt I’ll be able to kill that army, even 15 levels above, because the NPC’s don’t manage to kill a single enemy, then they swarm you, 20-30 of them.
By the way, I’m a Charr Engineer if that helps
ADDED**** Btw, I’ve exited and re-entered the mission 3 times and this happens every single time. Just log in with my character and it should happen to you ANet

How to tackle the "my class is underpowered" complaints when the learning curve is steep.

Greetings Anet,
I wanted to give you a simple advice to tackle players complaining about underpowered classes when the real issue is class complexity.
It’s rather simple actually and was utilized in LoTRO.
Simpler (but by no means weaker) classes to play simply had the “normal” difficulty tag in character creation. And up the rank it went with “advanced” and then “complex” if I remember correctly (long time since I played it).
This will direct people with a longing for easier playstyles to equally strong classes that play more easily. They will also come to realize that even those classes have quite the depth when they become experienced in that class.
Players longing for a more complex and challenging playstyle will go for the more advanced classes, which are by no means stronger, and everyone will be happy. When LoTRO did this, I basically saw the complaints on the forums go from medium to an all time low.
Just my 2 cents. Hope they help.
Agreed. This is a must if one is to feel that the Engineer is “on par” with the other classes. Extremely annoying and I hope it gets priority with the devs.
