I personally would sell the Eternity now that you can unlock skins and have done so with Twilight and Sunrise, unless you like the particle effect on the pommel.
Ideally, Eternity should have a cosmetic change (other than the current transition between its two predecessors) but I don’t think it’s anything worth Anets time.
This is a bit off-topic but… My ideal (and maybe cheesy?) interpretation of Eternity
Take this image of the black hole from the film Interstellar, for example:

The black hole would form the guard of the hilt and would be animated (light moving), where its ring of light is specifically the guard. The blade – I had envisioned something similar to that of Astralaria’s effect, but then the axe came out – so it may need be different slightly.
But mainly the idea was that it incorporates both light and dark. The black hole could do just that.
I am no real artist but I wish it could look something like this 5 minutes of my “MS PaInT skillz” attachment below:

Quaggan or bust
These people are an excellent group of players and will definitely keep you entertained. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good, strong guild that loves to have a fun time.
Cybermen [TIME] is looking for more play things to hide in its drawers. We will use you, break you in, and force you to be good at dungeons through persuasive and weeded out leadership.
If you are still reading, you are either what we are looking for or desperate for friends. Either way, let us brag about our achievements:
We have fornicated our way through fractals 55 and emotionally damaged world invaders in WvW. ~ All under advisement from our flappychaps leader.
We envy basement dwellers, ones that still live with their parents, so you can fill our toy drawer 24/7.
Since we are all tech savy, we like to hear each others voices – as basement dwelling videogame prodigies, we do require you to have mumble.
If you desire to join Cybermen’s toy drawer and the league of basement dwellers, please send a whisper or visit our website: http://cybermentime.weebly.com.
Send me a whisper or mail in game through my gametag or character name Tysiri, or contact any of [TIME]’s playthings.
Issue: My Hero tab won’t work at all
Time it began: Somewhere between 3-7 pm CST yesterday (February 3, 2013). Noticed while in a CoE group, but not sure if that is connected.
I have tried:
- Pressing H, or reassigning the Hero Tab key to other hotkeys, and it won’t load
- Clicking the Hero Tab directly
- Re-logging, closing/opening the game again
- Using -repair string at the end of the shortcut to run repair on the archive twice
- Completely re-installed the game, removing all instances of the game except the log folders/screenshot folders.
- Tried moving/backing up all files/folders above, that at first, wasn’t removed
- Re-entered instances, zoned to different maps, changed characters, opened up other interface tabs with no issue, etc.
One thing that I do notice is that when I do press H or click the tab icon, it does acknowledge the press – because I hear the open/close sounds for a window. However, nowhere on my screen is it visible. I checked behind other interface windows, changed my resolution to many different settings, but still can’t see it.
Any ideas? It is preventing me from utilizing many important features of the game. I can’t switch my gear, change my traits, review my attributes/skills, etc.
Please, any help is appreciated. Thank you.
I have the same issue, but with all of the hero tab entirely. Started yesterday. Repairing the client is not working either.
Reassigning hotkeys for the tab doesn’t work. Any simply clicking it doesnt work either.
always makes me laugh how people are apparently too manly and/or serious to be able to bear the presence of this bow.
Yup, the same thing happened at release with ppl complaining about mesmer and purple butterflies effects… it just didn’t suit their manly man aesthetics.
I also have a sneaking suspicion ppl complaining about it being “childish”..are probably 15-25 and desperate to prove how adult they are.
Yeah — as far as mesmer effects go – I proudly support them. Granted I made a female character… but for some reason the effects seemed fitting to the nature of the class.
As far as The Dreamer goes: I’m torn. The new effects are hilarious, and I could see myself getting it just as a joke weapon that I would frequent. However, from the standpoint of someone who acquired The Dreamer beforehand in hopes to get a serious (ignoring the unicorn head) weapon, then only to have that idea taken away from them — I’m not a fan.
Maybe they could keep The Dreamer in its original state, but provide the new version (with an alternate name if needed), obtainable through a somewhat cheap mystic forge recipe. Cheap, since it is staying legendary and just changing the effect. And maybe a recipe to revert it back too.
I admit I am too lazy to read the entire thread to see if this idea is already mentioned, but am at least throwing in my support for a way to opt out from its effects.
I strongly prefer the female-human carrying animation for the greatsword as it currently stands. I hope it doesn’t change.
Here lies Tysiri,
Standing before a mighty blue giant,
all she could say was “grave accent” 10 times,
before falling with a hammer in her grasps.
Here lies Dyre Rendblade.
For some reason he felt the need to roll off a cliff.
OR
Here lies Dyre Rendblade.
Who shouted out numbers before he died.
What they mean, no one knows.
EDIT: kitten ninja’d by Gab :P
Lol, THIS. The rolling one came to made as soon as I read the topic creator’s post, but the second is also brilliant.
When the shield goes down to zero health and can no longer be attacked, it briefly appears correctly before shattering.
THIS, every time, for the past few weeks on Dragonbrand.
Definitely looking forward to this fix. The extended length of time to kill Jormag, as a result of this bug, has made it more of a slowly-killed nuisance than a fun fight like the other dragons (although the mechanics of the fight are definitely more interesting IMO, obviously without the bug).
I admit, that on occasion, I sit out part of the fight because it often ends up being 30+ minutes long on my very high population server (Dragonbrand). The rewards, for this lengthy battle, are shy in comparison to trash mobs in its current bugged state.

Maybe I was lucky, but my first PUG – got through it no problem. Even with virtually no communication until 4/10 waves.
Simply put: built walls around the dolyaks and made sure they were connected as straight as possible (otherwise mobs can get through)
After walls were finished, we were building siege weapons on a fairly even ballista to catapult ratio, but with 1 snowmen for every 2 of the others.
I used a cap rifle since I seemed to kill mobs faster than the others with different weapons. Use skill 3 if the toys swarm a crucial siege weapon or wall to push them back. In between spawns, destroy structures and build more.
During Toxx, NEVER let the person who has aggro stay center – otherwise: goodbye siege weapons, walls, and then dolyaks. We kited him while others rebuilt defenses. Then focused on killing him about 1 minute after while others still maintained the center defense. Having people attack Toxx from the center is a huge risk, because it’s very easy for him to switch targets, rush, then use his AoE.
Use the hay on any weakened Dolyaks after Toxx is gone.
Pretty much repeat that over until all 10 waves are done. The waves didn’t seem to get harder at all all the way up to 10, so no change in tactics really is necessary.
My PUG nailed it first go – lucky perhaps.
Took me approx 3500-3800 to get the current 4 tonics. 1 more to go, tomorrow!
The rate is significantly lower than 1/3. My numbers mean every 17 or 18 tries I got one tonic!
I am not really disappointed though – many people are luckier, but I am just happy to have them.
Here is my Beauty: Haineko
Server: Tarnished Coast
Beautiful! Great looking character and scene.
Was about to ask where that mask was from – but may have found it – is it the armageddon or arcon mask?

Here is my mesmer: Tysiri.
Used to be named Livia Merlys in GW1, but since names weren’t transferable at the time – I grew to like the new name!
