As things stand, chances are that ‘Elder Dragons’ will never be World Bosses, but always get a Dungeon of their own.
The fight against Zhaitan was much too easy, especially as the Dragon Champions (Worldbosses) actually seem Stronger than him, but there is a chance the Zhaitan fight will be changed to be less… lame… before a new Elder Dragon is added to the game.
But yes. Tequatl is just one of Zhaitans many minions – although a really strong one at this point.

Black Gate beat him. It’s not impossible but will require effort as it should always have been. It’s only been a day. Relax. Giving up won’t get you anywhere. We were just so used to the brain dead spam auto attack encounters that most of us are struggling to actually work together to beat a dragon.
