Do you see my point here?
Nope.
Good, I am glad you agree with me and we can move forward.
Your argument is invalid
That is your opinion. Unfortunately for you it is only your opinion and you do not get to slam your gavel and declare case closed. There are people that appreciate the commander tags in pve. You don’t have to like the tags, but you do have to accept that some people do appreciate them. That is not opinion, that is fact.
Theres no reason to have a commander tag in PVE. The game events circle the area of the event, and in many cases have NPCs that you are supposed to follow not a commander.
I beg to differ. For one thing, the circle of the events are not visible at infinite range, they only show up when you get close to said event. In my experience having a commander present attracts other players to the event. I don’t think anyone particularly cares what those commanders have to say, they just know that is where the people are.
If you can get past being jealous, the commander tags are quite beneficial.
But my question to the community is. What do you feel when you see a commander in PVE?
I love ’em. People are like cattle and having a commander or two in an event is a great way to wrangle up all them cattles and get some warm bodies to help out.
What I would like to see is longer intervals between waypoints being attacked. I don’t know how it plays out on other servers, but for most of the day you can bank on every waypoint being contested all the way back to fort trinity and very few people doing anything about it.
If you were looking at it from the outside you might think that GW2 was already a dead game with no one playing it, but it’s just that zone. There are tons of people doing events in every other zone, but I think everyone zones into Orr takes one look at the map and goes to do something else instead.
Make sure you read this thread, it had a couple gems in it I couldn’t live without.

First, I just bought the game a few weeks ago and I am quite certain I will not be the last to do so. I am very impressed with the game and I will be trying to convince everyone I know to give it a shot too.
Second, I would be pretty mad if I coughed up 60 bucks and then they just decided to give it away for free now. I would much rather see people joining the game that really want to play it than a bunch of people who just poke their head in, troll around for a bit annoying people and then going back to wherever they came from.
