• No sigils and runes. I believe there are WAY better solutions to this problem.

Like what? It’s basically garbage at this point. To roll sellworthy sigil or rune u need to have some of it and visit the toilet to mix them. Not worth the time tbh. I’m fairly sure the majority of players vendor it or throw it away since it’s too big of a hassle to mix low lvl ones. A simple “deposit to storage” for them would be a good way to store a larger amount and get to mixing it. Let’s face it, low lvl sigils and rune are a means to artificially extend the time players need to get certain things done. Garbage mechanic.

As for the other things nice. Thanks for your hard work it’s not like I don’t see it or wont extend my gratitude for implementing many fun things in the game (I love the fractals current design although, I would love to see 4x daily recs + 4x dailies – reward for each tier).

How to reproduce issue: Have a kitten ton of green/blue items and try to use the salvage all masterwork and lower.

Yep, this is the main reason I can’t do any raid right now. My 1 legendary insight isn’t worth <tuturuuuu>.

Hey there, i’ve finally found the time to write this so I will cut to the chase.

My mindset: I thought about many things not only from the perspective of an gamer but as a the one who makes the game. That being said I took notice that sometimes developers do something specifically because they want something to be like this (an example might be that it takes a while to craft 100 mithril inglots instead of just making all at once).

1. Completed dungeon UI

I don’t think there is much to explain here. A simple UI that shows you what dungeon paths u did and which u didn’t. As funny as it might sound when i started dungeons and didn’t remember all the paths this was something I struggled with (had to write it down to be sure not to do ACp1 two times).

Why I would like to see this?

Because it’s not an interference with balance or anything. It actually adds to the gamers comfort of knowing and controlling what he is doing. Also it’s always nice to see the result of your time playing the game.

2. (PvE only) Switching skills while they’re on cooldown

Let me explain why I think this should be implemented. I’m playing a warrior so i change my stuff quite often. I normally run GS-S/WH for a maximum mobility and change right before a fight to lets sat a GS/Hammer or GS-Axe/Mace. Now the funny thing is when I’m ooc and switch the weapon i was using there is no timer on it. Lets say i’ve used WH skill nr 4 and then switched to mace. I don’t have the cooldown on it and can proceed with this weapon. Now when it comes too utilities: Lets say I use a banner of discipline and somehow the other person also uses the same banner. After the fight I would obvsly change it to something else so I can benefit my team. The thing is I can switch that skill out when the cooldown is gone. And may I remind you the being in combat mode prevents you from changing anything which happens quite often so you have to act quite quickly. I don’t think this will give any imbalance to the game (I might be wrong ofc but correct me on that).

3. Party UI ca simple Party UI

Simple is nice but its too simple. Currently It doesn’t indicate when all the ppl are out of a dungeon while doing a fullrun and let me tell this as plain as I can it kitten should. With a red dot or green dot or whatever.

4. Joining dungeons UI

The current UI is not enough. It looks like this:

And you know whats funny I sometimes accidentally click on story mode which results in me getting instakicked from the pt (yep, this is a serious crime in the gw2 world : <).
A horizontal mode would be better: ? ? ?

5. Cut scenes off

I’ve done AC p1 many times and each time with a different group. Sometimes it went slow sometimes it would go fast but that is something ALWAYS related to other players so the possibilities are almost limitless. Yet each and every time I have to manually click on the button in the south east part of my monitor to stop the sequence. This is annoying. It is not convenient for a player who does dungeons on a daily basis. And there is this one cutscene in CM, right? RIGHT?

6. Camera zoom in/out

When the Jungle Wurm Boss shows up the camera works wonderful. It zooms out so I can see everything and I can do my stuff. With Tequatl it doesnt work that way.
NOW I MIGHT HAVE THE WRONG SETTINGS ON AND IF THAT IS THE CASE JUST FORGET ABOUT THIS SUGGESTION.
My experience with teq looks like this. Teq shows up, the camera zoom out a little a scroll out with my mouse. DPS DPS DPS, and the we have the phase where you have to defend stuff. At some point the camera zooms back in but it zoom in the closests possible way and i have to zoom it out. It’s annoying to players (to me and I think to others too). It’s not something balance related so would you mind setting this in a away that would make my zoom back from the the farthest I can instead of the closest option there is?

7. The shrinking inventory

EVERY TIME I open up gw2 my inventory window is 1 bar shorter that it should be. This has been reported by other players but it seems you guys just ignored that because there still is no fix for that, which is well… I didn’t expect that. It also happens when you move this big window to a corner of the game. If more than 50% of the inventory is outside of the monitor and you close it, it gets shorter too.

The wall that appears while in combat with this boss after a wipe is still there sometimes and the only way to get rid of it is to make all party members die…

Hi again!

Thank you both for the answers. Especially to Elegie for pointing out some things i need to think a bit more about and the links which I somehow didn’t found on my own.

@Purple Miku – I’m not really a WvW player (at least not at the moment) so I’m exploring all the PvE content like Dungeon/map exploration/jumping puzzles and bosses so thanks for pointing the WvW issue out.

Hi everyone.

So the time has come to gain some knowledge about ascended items and I hope I could get some good pieces of advice from you. I’ll keep it as short as possible.

1. I’ve heard about two options when it comes to armor for warriors. The first one is a build relying purely on Power/Precision/Critial Damage – The downfall is that you are more vulnerable (and since i’m not the brighthest one I think I’ll pass on that). The other one, which i’m more interested in, is a mix between berserker gear and knight gear. I’d appreciate if someone could elaborate more about the second option. Any information regarding that setup, its cons and pros would be very helpfull.

2. The second thing I would like to know is if someone has a guide for creating ascended items for dummies. I’ve sherlocked a bit through the interwebs and found some informations that are of value to me but I would really appreciate guide for dummies.
