There are plenty of shotgun looking skins in the game.

Caatalyst do have a point though in reference to the Predator (legendary rifle), it IS a sniper rifle, and thus a sniper rifle skin. And as good (awesome!) as the rifle looks, it just seems wrong to be firing it from the hip.
And as someone else mentioned, the pistol isn’t as good as the rifle (try listing/seeing the gun in action and ..well.. bad).

Well, you have more manpower then us. But it’s always a blast to go up against FOW

But that is only until brave and adventure seeking players join our servers fight! Then we’ll be even numbers, and Vabbi will push Surmia and Frissure back

It still isn’t to late to join the good fight on Vabbi. There have already been an increase in new guilds lately (well two as I have noticed, but it’s an increase), so better act fast if you want your place in the sun

I’ll add my voice to this.
Even though I have started to try and convince others to come to Vabbi, I’m very much aware that, that isn’t going to happen (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/want-a-challenge-come-to-vabbi/first#post879375).

And it’s not just the WvW, but the fact that several events can’t be done. This week the major event to push into Arah worked Monday and Tuesday. And that’s a record! As the event haven’t worked for over a month. So just to do that event, people are moving away from Vabbi. Lost an ingame newly friend to it, also this week, as he wanted the Orr armour set – this he can not get on Vabbi server.

Farming is also being hit atm, the popular route of Penitent/shelters/jofast farming run are also seen as being bugged more then ever. Tree weeks ago, I meet many people (12) doing that farming run, now…I meet tree when it peaks.

A mate of mine have recently bought Guild Wars 2 and joined Vabbi server. He’s struggling to do the first events of this game, as he’s all alone. Several of the major events for immersion he simply have to skip or leave for when he’s higher level – I can’t be there helping him all the time, and I’m not supposed to do that either.

As Stone points out: most of Volition Cult [VOLT] are old community gamers, that aren’t going to leave for another server just to start over again. We bought the game in advance, we took part in the betas, and we joined in pre launch so that we could built our community here on Guild Wars 2. We’re asking for help here, as we can see that people are leaving Vabbi, leaving it empty. And we didn’t join Vabbi to be the only guild here.

But, a zerg is kinda mandatory in WvW or a WvW environment. Ofc it IS getting tedious getting zerged over and over and over and over….

Vabbi have certainly had a drop in players recently, they used to be the clear dominant server in the lower tier, but I believe a very large alliance left after frustration of being stuck there.

I see many members of VOLT around, and I must ask, are you 75% elementalists? :P

Aye a large Russian guild (and others) left Vabbi server for various reasons I presume.
And 75% elementalists? errr maybe, I never really noticed to be honest. I play the awesome class myself: Engineer
But to be fair, I think we have a decent spread of classes – many do go elementalists for wvw now that I think on it.

@Goatjugsoup, you could have added just a weee bit more selling ; )

But he’s/she’s right. Vabbi server is the lowest ranked server in terms of WvW, and we are also the lowest (more or less) populated server as well – the two things are connected.
I’ll give you an example: When we rock and roll in WvW, we have almost 50(!!!) people fighting…the opposition have around 100 on there peak, on just our borderland, so not counting Eternal and the other two borderlands. We are in effect are using gorilla tactics to fight back – And it’s a BLAST of fun =D
(Seriously Anet, as fun as it is, a server merged should be considered)

So why move to Vabbi? well because of all the benefits:
- There are no waiting in line, overflow servers only kicks in for us when there is a huge event – like a one time only world event.

- Become a familiar face guldwise. “who’s that guild?” you might have wondered, when stumbling across some unknown person, well on Vabbi people know you. Which is a huge guild recruitment benefit and a huge benefit for getting YOUR guild known.

- Become a familiar face for all. Are you farming and meeting various new people all the time? Same on Vabbi, except here there is a 70% (estimated) chance of you already knowing them or that you will see/work with them again. Making it more fun in PUGs and in WvW.

So basically Vabbi is the perfect choice for you if your tried of being in overflow, tried of not being a known guild, wanting to meet people you can relate to on an everyday basis. Be part of Vabbi’s WvW force and everybody will know you, and you’ll get much fun in return!

You can get “Black Lion Trader Express”, “Black Lion Merchant Express” and “Bank Access Express” on the Trade Post. You buy them with gems and there price are 35-50 gems for one. With various discount offers.

Now they are not personal as you ask for, but apart from being accessible by all, then they do them same thing.

Not a bug, but as stated a lack of functionality. Someone, somewhere mentioned that it would properly be added at a later stage fingers crossed.

And technically you can preview equipment and dyes, it’s just very cumbersome and require you to have the item and the actually dye as an item (which you typically wouldn’t have). You can add the dyes to the preview screen using the boxes to the right.
edit: note only four dyes can be previewed, so it’s not 100% as the typical dye selection

Having the options to use our own learnt dyes would be nice indeed =)

@Helemar: I’m not sure I follow, but what you are experiencing and I, doesn’t seem to be the same thing. And from how I read it, you have ..well… an opposite bug. As I read it you have bought with karma some recipes that you can apparently use on all toons. And now you have toon which can’t. I’ll say that’s a bug, as you shouldn’t get the recipe on all toons, but only the one who actually learns it =)
So yes you have to buy it several times if you wish for it to be used on several toons.

@The Jade Grue: That was my initial though as well, only that doesn’t seem to be the case, as any other recipe I have learnt above my level I CAN see and even preview – they are just red and can’t be used, but I can see them. Only ones I can’t see are these mentioned above.

This is correct. Mithril imbued and Orichalcum inscriptions you have to buy from the crafting vendor using karma points.

Just adding my experience with this:
I can go from Fort Trinity to all HQ’s
My order is Priory, and I can get pass the gate keeper to use the portal the other way – regardless of when I try.
For Whisper and Vigil I can go from Fort Trinity to the HQ’s and back again, but only if I stay in the closed off area. If I come from the outside I can’t pass as “access is forbidden”.

This might be purely intentional, as I did choose Priory as my Order, so I shouldn’t get access to the other Orders services anyway – even as second command of the Pact. If I could, then it would only serve as a fast way to move around (Lions Arch/ Whisper/ Orr with no cost).
And the option to turn around is put in to aid people who took the wrong gate (it has happen) to get back without cost.

Have to agree with op. The mech to get to the vista point: e.g the catapult is not bugged.
The minigame is bugged.
As mention in this thread already, you have to be very patient. Only when there are NO cows left and the help (Tigh) have bugged off to get more cows can you use the catapult. It is not selectable before and it will only be selectable until the help (Tigh) returns.

I’ve searched for this and are pretty sure there wasn’t an thread/post like it. (Ingame report was filed a month ago)

Scenario:
Very early at game launch I got to the Jaws of Jormag event in Frostgorge Sound, did it and found the vendor afterwards. I bought ALL recipes from him and learnt them. I was trying out different things in the game and wasn’t sure which crafting I wanted.
Mind you, at this time recipes are soul bound, not account bound.

A patch later makes all recipes account bound, so that it is possible to have one high level toon getting recipes for low level toons.

W00p! off I got to the same event to get the recipes again, so my low level toons can do them, as the recipes are spread out over tree crafting skills. I do the event and get the recipes. I get them to my low level toons.

Problem:
They can’t learn them.
I’m told that the recipe is already learnt – and thus can’t learn again.
I looked at the list of crafteble items, and they don’t show on the new toon, only the old. Other recipes bought AFTER the patch change works perfectly, but it appears that any bought and learnt BEFORE are bugged, as in can’t be learnt again.

I would really like to have the possibility of crafting them on the low level toons please ; )

Have you waited until the very end? You have to be very patient with this one, even if you get the “this content is disabled” message. I got the message, but waited until Tigh went of for more cows, and then I could do it.
For me, the “this content…” message wan’t referring to the catapult, but to Mardine, who becomes a merchant in the very end, that was bugged, not the catapult.

Aye, you have to be veeeeery patient with this one. Even if you get the “this event/content is disabled…” just wait. When the help goes off to get more cattle, then you can do it. And there must be NO cattle left, if there are, wait for it.
