Installed the game, fully patched, but when I click “Play” the game doesn’t load.
I tried doing -repair to it as well, but still nothing.
Is there an error log I can look at? Are there any solutions? Running Win 8.1
Before the new updates, all I needed were a few POI’s from WvW to get Map Completion.
Apparently that update has already happened, but I didn’t get the Title or anything that goes with map completion. So I went to finish WvW and still nothing :s I know for a fact I have everything else 100% cause… the achievement page lays it out pretty simply for you.

I can’t find any guide or anything that says where she is, other than in the Grove. The Grove is a big confusing map and I’ve already run around each level with my finger on the “show all npc names” button.
Anyone know?

So basically people only use it if they don’t want themselves connected to their character in any way, or if they play kids games or are immature?

I’ve never heard it before and it took me forever to figure out that it doesn’t mean “cartoon” and means “my character”.
But it sounds so stupid, how did it catch on? Does it come from something else??

My character is nearly two years old now, but I still haven’t received the “Loyal” Title :S

People actually look at those? In all of GW2, I mean, the entire two years this game has been up, I have been referred to by my name once. That is on one occasion somebody called me by my name. The rest of the times it was just my character’s names I was referred to as.
As someone with a forum addiction, I’m recognized by my account name so people generally call me “Lilith” rather than my real name or my character name. I feel bad that these names can’t be changed, because sometimes I wish my account name was my main characters name. Hehe.
However I’m liking my newest nickname “Lils”.
@OP your name COULD be worse. Any time I think of my 14 year old AOL screen name (shadowgrrl) I cringe.
Haha XD! Yeah, that’s just as terrible. It could be worse…. It’s just like “ew. That name is the embodiment of my tiny little pre-teen self.” It doesn’t really help my case when I go trying to find a guild XD
I bought GW2 when it first came out. And have matured a lot since then.
My display name makes me look like a stupid twelve-year-old. AAaaahhh I wish we were able to change these.
