Hello everyone.
I would just like to ask, if any of you have any clues why are prices on lodestones and cores ( especially destroyer ) dropping so fast on price.
Destroyer was 1,7g 3 days ago, now its 80s.
Charged was 2,6g, now its 1,8g.
And on the other hand crystal lodestones raised up from 1g to 1,4g.
I must say i am gettign a bit nervous, becouse i invested 30g in destroyers…and now they are becoming worthless
Hey all, we are aware of the bug with Ranger traps. A fix is slated for to take care of this bug tonight.
Bugfix patch:
- Rangers are now no longer available in class selection menu

- Reduced active ranger playerbase by 40 percent. 97 percent of active rangers are now bots.

How do you know you will make good profit? Do i missed something?
This is getting out of control, i think someone is trying to manipulate the TP again, becouse of the Anet’s post, as you mentioned this is not normal economic fluctuation

I encountered similar problem yesterday, i was trying to place some catapults, but when i put it down, it just dissappeared in second, i tried to place one more and it happend again.
Yea zombie-like creatures are getting lame, boring, stupid and horrible in overall
Yes i mean WvW bonuses not Orbs, ofc….All those crit gathering, crit crafting, etc allways only affected me in WvW
It allways affected me only when inside of WvW map, so i thought its intended to work this way.
Are you guys awared that those bonuses apply only while inside of WvW map, right? They does not apply in Tyria.

That rendering issue needs to be fixed.
Well i understand it is a fantasy game, but they do have ships in Tyria, so why no Warships and why not battle with them.
As for my engine suggestions, if you want to keep it more fantasy way, it might be even better, since it gives us more space for imagination
As for your suggestions, i think they sound great on paper. Having differently upgraded towers, depending on a race that upgraded it- could be only skin, but it could aswell give the base some unique stats. Charrs could bring some extra plating to gate, etc.
And it would look very cool having different bases on the map.
I have been thinking about posting this suggestion for quite a long time now, excuse me if it was said in past allready or not, as i dont have that much time to read forum frequently
First of all i would really love to see a naval combat.
Add new WvW map, mainly filled by ocean with couple of islands and harbors to conquer, but the main battles would stay in water.
You would be required to purchase any type of ship – from small 5-man row boats, to huge, to bigger frigates and galleons with dozens of ballistas and cannons on it.
This kind of map would most likely end up being more like Guilds vs Guilds battles, as you would require to purchase ships and some thorough tactics to lead the fleet, which mind end up being more fun than the usual mess in battlegrounds and at same time bringing completely new fights to experience.
Second thing – i would really love to see more ,,siege engines,, being offered in WvW. Becouse currently there is not much to choose from.
Enemy has well defended walls? Pick Catapult
Too hard to procect Catapult? Build Trebuchet far away
Upgraded walls? Go ram
Arrow cart to clear up walls
Ballistas to kill players.

I have only couple of ideas to give, but with contribution from other players i am sure we could put together at least 5 new ,,siege engines,,
Ladders – good old simple ladders – very cheap, very fragile.
I know they might be drastic in some situations, especialy in hands of skilled mesmer – he could hop over walls and make portal, but we could think about some special conditions to make them harder to be used – takes time to climb up and you must not get hit while climbing, etc.
Siege tower – expensive, slow, tough. Why would we have to destroy the walls all the time, when we could just drive this shiny to walls and get over them
Bombs – dynamits, C4, grenades ( whatever you want to imagine behind this word ) cheap, small damage, personal devices used to damage either walls or gates.
Cannons – similar to catapults, with longer range but with more straight path of shots.
You wouldnt be able to move much vertically with them, so they could be used in flat terrain or from higher ground.
More to be added with fresh mind….
Feel free to dicuss and let me know what do you think, but please try to keep it as constructive as possible.
Your idea is bad. Give every class this ,, non-siege,, weapon and you can allready throw away whole ranger class, becouse this is the only thing that they excel at… defending keeps with longbow.
Althought i am up for adding couple of more SIEGE weapons into WvW
Sad to here that, Orbs were nice spice in WvW. Once keep is holding a Orb it often gets focused from both sides, making it quite challenging and fun to defend.
Bump, this server has been lacking a lot on the side of communication and we need to fix that if we plan to be competetive on the WvW scene. Hopefully more guilds will show up on this thread.
