Hi
lately i have an issue with my mouse (logitech g5) and GW2
after awhile playing my mouse suddenly becomse unresponsive, all the extra buttons (eg. thumb buttons) dont work anymore and the sensitivity is extremly low – the only way to fix that is to plug out and plug in the mouse and everything works normal again…
i have the mouse driver uptodate (the official logitech one) and the problem occurs only in gw2…
a friend of mine has the same problem (different mouse) but also only in gw2
I don’t know how anyone else feels about this but my reaction was the same as I had to the profanity filter – turned it off as soon as I logged in and I’ll hopefully forgot it even exists before long.
I understand some people don’t like to see other languages but this is not a fix for that, it’s just creating a new range of problems alongside it.
Being that EoTM is just a karma train, the only thing needed to communicate is “clockwise” and “counter-clockwise.” I’m sure GW2 players are smart enough to learn these two words in a variety of languages.
I don’t think you’ve understood how this new option works. If you’re on an English language server (for example) the game now defaults to hiding everything said by anyone on a French, German or Spanish server.
No matter what language they say it in, or whether you’re able to understand it or not. It just won’t appear so you’d never know they said anything at all.
Correction: actually it depends on client language. There are people who play an English client on non-English servers, I believe.
definitly – i am one (i am german, play on dzagonur (german server) and have my client set to english) and most of my friends have the same settings…
so they implement what the forums have being crying about, and now u gonna start bs’ting that its again not good…
As you can read in the first sentence: you can choose to disable/enable this function, you no want, u no need to use.
the problem with that is that a big chunk of players will not know about this as they dont read the patch notes (after every patch there are tons of players asking what is new/different) and by enabling it by default they may wonder why they dont see any other languages but only a few will really look into it…
the current solution is horrible – i am german, play on dzagonur (a german server) and have my client set to english because i dont like the german voice acting…
i am the kind of player who answers questions in map chat or do general conversiations in it… now other players from other german servers (there are 7 of them) will not see me – great! -.-
the suggested solution would definitly be better then the current one but the best one would be to not put servers with different languages together
another “quick” (not a permanent one) solution would be different map channels so map(english), map(german), map(french), map(spanish), map(all)
I accidentily used an exploit and as soon as found out reported it ingame (its definitly a new exploit) but a friend said to me i should report it outside the game but i dont know where…
OR they could just make structures vulnurable to condi damage…
It doesn’t need a nerf. We just need the time to learn how to play it. You may not know, but Tequatl is a DRAGON BOSS, a Zhaitan’s Lieutenant, it need to be that difficult, and people need to learn how to fight him without crying, please.
dont know if it needs a nerf (we will see in the next few days) but this Lieutenant of Zhaitan is WAY harder then the Elder Dragon himself…
i have the same problem (and my guild mate too), maybe because im in overflow
same bug here whipser/party/guild chat channels seems to be broken
also (maybe related) – my complete party-function is a bit broken
e.g. i have a full party, one member leaves it and someone else comes new in – my game thinks that player A didnt leave (so B isnt in) a few minutes later it notice that player A has left the group but didnt that B is in then again a few minutes later it notice that B is in – the whole time we talked through TS3 and my other party members didnt have the problem…
