If the servers being unable to handle more condition stacking then what is already in the game and that is the REAL reason then shame on you Anet. What kind of joke is that. You balance your game around what your servers can handle? You should take all the money you get from your RNG chests and do something useful with it.

If you can’t increase the stacks then you need to change how conditions work. Regardless something needs to be done. It shouldn’t be a negative thing to bring 2+ condi built players to a party.

Spreadsheet works wonders for things like this. Use them a lot in EvE online and while I don’t play the TP I’m sure they can help you get the read outs that you are seeking.

No because that would make them OP tanks in single target stuff, when what is killing them is aoe dmg. The question is why do they even take AoE dmg in the first place when they have no ability to dodge attacks or play on the mobility of this game.

A real fix is disallow ranger pets from taking AoE dmg in pve period.

I know this, as I did state it. But nobody will argue that there are balancing issues with this game, and ones that exist because of the buttons on 1-5. If the system was designed to create balance and has clearly failed then why not try a new avenue.

Imagine how much more it will fail. It is a mess allready and you want to mess it up more??!!

You are assuming that adding more 1-5 would fail before the idea has even been discussed.

Question for you.
Are there traits already in this game that are better for PVP then PVE?
Are there utility skills that you find more useful in PVP then PVE?
Are there existing 1-5 buttons you find more useful in PVP then PVE?

I think balance could come easier if we acquired better skills the fit the roles we wanted to play that could be interchanged with 1-5.

At the very least I think this topic deserved SOME thought.

If you think you are having a problem with a stalker then block them. If the ability to block in game doesn’t hide your activity from them 100% then it should be changed to do so.

Also I think a friends list notification should be sent to the person you added informing them that you did/(want?) to add them to your list.

Don’t punish everyone in this game because you had a bad experience. Nobody will argue that what happened to you is lame, but it reflects poorly on the players that took this action against you (find/suggest ways to punish them not everyone else). Every game will have party boot mechanics, and I believe that the ones for this game are already fair how as they stand.

Also this could be argued that it is a problem with the time vs reward system in the game. There is no reason that you should not have been compensated for the time you did put into that dungeon.

Anyways that is my take on this. Better luck in the future.

This has always been something that has bugged me about this game. Why don’t we have more skills that can replace the ones on our 1-5. Is it because of balancing issues? I think that was the idea, but clearly we are having problems with balance at this moment so it is not working.

My suggestion is to add more skills on the 1-5 for all classes in all weapon sets. I’d maybe opt out for the auto attack 1, but I am sure there are some cool ideas that could be put there. Perhaps these skills could be unlocked through the trait lines that a player decides to go down.

I agree torment is a joke. Anet said that movement is a core mechanic in this game which is dumb to say anyways because what game is it not. Do you really think movement is not important in other mmo/games? Torment adds NOTHING nobody thinks for a second if they should move or not because there is ZERO reason to not move.

Maybe its a latency issue that’s hard for the devs to fix? it seems that it works right about 50% of the time, bulls charge has a similar issue, i find that i will often hit the target with the knockdown but continue off course away from the downed player which is sometimes annoying.

I think it has to do with the game engine it’s self. Most everything that doesn’t lock up your character seems to work really well at least from what I have seen. Maybe rush should give us an uber swiftness for 2-3 seconds and then replace the button with the swing so that we can control our own rush.

Sometimes I think rangers are the most broken thing in this game, If Anet would only fix how your spirit pets worked in dungeons to where they didn’t just go down instantly when brought out I’d say rangers would be best if not one of the best party members you could bring. It’s a shame, those spirits would be awesome.

As a side note I have a CoF farming partner who plays a ranger and does a mighty fine job at it, wouldn’t trade him for any other class.

I really wish they would fix this, Rush has been terrible ever since this game has come out, which is sad because rush could be really awesome. I don’t understand how they can go so long with this skill being broken it sickens me.
