This really doesn’t make sense to me, considering that F2P players unlock more (removing restrictions + HoT content) by purchasing HoT than people who already own the game do.

I remember there was a big uproar in the community when this happened for this very reason, and I guess I’m surprised to see that nothing has been done to remedy this in the time that I spent away from the game.

Could we have an option for disabling the camera acceleration feature please? It makes the game feel very sluggish and unresponsive compared to other games.

GW2 has built in camera smoothing that cannot be disabled. You can attempt to minimize by increasing the camera speed, but that’s about it.

This thread recently popped up and got some attention, so you might want to try gaining support for a disable smoothing camera option.

GW2 runs at 40-60 fps for me as well.

My system isn’t the issue, the camera acceleration (coming from WoW and pretty much any other game ever) is sickening to look at.

I wish they had a setting to disable it altogether….

I’m talking about when you use the mouse or move your character the camera movement feels very sluggish because it starts off slow and gets faster (accelerates). It’s such an annoying feature and I can’t get into the game because of that…

I bought this game a few months ago during the sale but the 1 thing that turns me off (I literally can’t play) is the camera acceleration.

Have they added some way to disable that “feature”???
