I’m running into this error as well as of 11/18/2012. I’ve had no issues to date with my connection and all of a sudden I can’t even log in and stay online for more than 1 minute. I immediately lag and am disconnected with the aforementioned error.

One thing I noticed was whenever I have guildwars running (log in screen, character select, or ingame) my internet slows down to a snails pace. I am unable to load any webpages, the music i’m streaming stops buffering, and my torrents stop altogether.

Is this the case with you folks too?

I believe if you shut down your other programs. eg: chrome, utorrent. it should stop this issue. also, if you are running guild wars through steam you will need to ensure that steam is not running when you open guild wars.

hey, thanks for the reply, i use flamethrower and grenade kit. should’ve mentioned that earlier i guess. the problem isn’t defense, i can dodge and avoid most attacks and take a few hits no sweat, its just the amount of damage. when questing alone especially it can take a dumb amount of time to kill basic creatures. the flamethrower has been a godsend. definitely one of the best things about engie

Hey, i’m playing level 16 Engineer, have recently started the story missions and just finished a story mission where i was bumped down to level 6. my character who i thought was pretty good was having a lot of trouble do any significant damage to enemies. i got about 5 centaurs on me at once and it would take an abnormally long amount of time to kill em.

Could anyone give advise on how to be effective in DPS as the engineer.
ideally could you tell me what;
- weapons
- Traits
- Abilities
etc i should be using.

i use the rifle. and ive got pretty good gear.
