Maybe someone else has already come up with this but it would be sick if ANet came up with a PvP mode for mounts with various competitive game types including racing, some sort of capture the flag stuff like they did in gw 1 and occasionally now, puzzle races, capture the crown type where the mounts have more attack/evasive skills, etc. what do you all think? I think it would be interesting to see what they’d come up with if they considered this.

Ok, well maybe an in-game version of it would be a better idea. The only reason I would want an app version is because sometimes I want something to play that’s related to guild wars 2 while I’m aaay from my computer and just have down time at work or whatever. But hey if that’s just me, then an in-game only version would work as well. I just loved polymock and wish they’d bring it back in some way

I would definitely pay money for a polymock game app. If ArenaNet made a polymock app that could link to guild wars 2 accounts for exclusive rewards from the app it would be awesome. Basically you’d play online against other players or offline and collect cards that would be based off of monsters, or characters and what not in the game and play them against other players. It would be an extra if you could collect polymock app cards in game but I’m not sure how that would work. But it would be a win for ArenaNet cuz they’d make money off the app and pick up more fans. Opinions?

Legends of The Trinity [LOTT] is recruiting helpful, friendly, and fun players both new and experienced. We have the Lost Precipice as our hall with a few upgrades already. We are a PvX guild.

The guild was created to help new players for the most part but we also want to attract experienced players too. A lot of guilds forget an easy but great concept. Newer players are tomorrow’s experienced players. Experienced players love reliable team/squad members.

For newer players, there are many guilds out there who are genuinely out there to help you out and we aren’t here to bash any guilds but not only do we want to help you learn the ropes of the game but we want to take it a step further and help you become an experienced player so that you might be able to help newer people than you. Best part is that when you join this guild, you not only have a guild ready to have your back whenever, because of the community we will create, you’ll have friends and for some people the people you meet in this guild will be like family to you. We don’t want you to be intimidated by the experienced players, we want you to be one. Whether you are in for the story line, the loot, farming, crafting, lore, exploring, etc. we have a place for players of all kinds.

For newer players interested in PvP/WvW, we will get into that side of the game too, for experienced PvP/WvW players, we know you love being able to rely on the people you party up with or squad up with. Newer players have great potential to be just that so it could greatly benefit you to join our guild and help show newer players and even experienced players who have an interest in that side of the game how it’s done as well as party up with those of us who are already experienced in that side of the game.

In general, gameplay is different depending on which aspect you are playing (PvE/PvP/WvW) so what build or combination of runes/insignias work for one game mode won’t work for another, so for experienced players, help teach what builds will work best for different characters depending on which game mode. We aim to be a large guild. Everyone will be able to rank up. Everyone will have a voice so if you have suggestions for the guild, bring it up, help us grow a guild that you will enjoy being in and look forward to playing with. Anyone can organize events so don’t be afraid to. No one is required to recruit but it would be greatly appreciated and beneficial to the guild. Also, we’re looking for active players. You won’t have to log in every day, we know everyone has a life and what not outside the game and things come up, etc. just be active enough. The only rules are that everyone respect one another, no matter their opinions, try to keep politics out of guild chat, the game is meant to be enjoyed by us all not ruined by politics and what not. Lastly, just enjoy the game with us.

Reasonable but they need to seriously fix the Morddmoth battle. Too many bugs.

So, I’m going to take it that I’m not the only one who has about ripped so much of my hair out playing this final mission that I might have taken some of my brain out with my hair. I love you anet, but why? fighting the blighted eir and garm, then blighted canach was irritating enough. I’m thinking, “ok, annoying part is over.” Nope. Mordremoth is the most annoying. This is the only part of HoT that I absolutely hate, and it’s so terribly annoying, that I don’t even think I can get myself to get the rest of my lvl 80 characters through that. The only reason I refuse to just turn the game off and shoot my laptop with my AR is because if I do that and later decide my nerves are back intact, I’ll have to fight blighted eir and blighted canach. Can’t imagine what blighted Caithe or Rox would be like. Please, if it’s not already too late, FIX THIS MISSION! On second thought, after reading all these posts, I’m starting to think it’s not even worth it until a fix is made considering how much hp, he has. I don’t have the time to even kill a quarter of his health because I spend more time dying to either get rid of a bug or because updraft didn’t work. I also forgot to mention, the one time the updraft did work, my glider collapsed and I somehow ended up inside the walls. So, I’m logging out of the game now before I bludgeon myself to death. C’mon anet, it was doing SSSOOOOOOO good right up until this mission. I see where this mission could’ve been fun, and though the bugs weren’t entirely your fault (please fix them) the frustration that myself and others experienced with the current state of the mission killed everything about it. Just both some constructive criticism/ranting from a big fan.

I wouldn’t bet on it in the upcoming expansion either, I was speaking just in general. It would just be a major let down not bringing back those continents. They were great maps, you know?

This has most likely been discussed millions of times by now, but I REALLY want to be able to Cantha and Elona at some point. I’ve been dying to be able to see both continents again since I bought the game. Anet, if you love us, you will bring Cantha and Elona back lol. PLEASE!

So this is purely without consideration of game mechanics, just a ‘wake up on Christmas morning with what I was hoping for under the tree’ thing. It would be cool for the city’s planners to propose a blueprint for the ‘new city’, with a number of new buildings with new functions (guild halls, personal homes and neighborhoods) as well as the old functions (bank, TP, crafting). And then give the players quests to help with the construction of each building. The amount of player resources spent would drive the speed in which the building was built, and which ones get built first. It would be interesting to see what the player base wants to get up first.

I’ll admit, this sounds like it’s very likely to happen. They did say that it’s possible that personal homes are a possibility. Seeing as they have different races to cater to in this category, Lion’s Arch is kind of the America of Tyria in the sense that it’s a melting pot, so less work making different styled houses for every race of the game in every main city. It’s possible, I’d be all for it, maybe a place to store achievements and stuff. Who knows?

Well, all these somewhat answer the question. I still want to know what everyone is thinking about post Scarlet Tyria.

So is it possible that this hints at a new expansion? Cuz I’ve been dying to hear if one will be in the works. By the way A-Net, you NAILED this LS thing. I was a little skeptic at the beginning but I was sure that was because it was a new thing. But towards the end you all really did exceed my expectations.

If you go to the wiki it says pretty much that Lion’s Arch will be “changed substantially when it becomes available again in a subsequent release.” What that means for the future, I don’t know. For now though, I think that’s the only hint (more of a tease though) we’ll get at least until maybe the announce of the next LS arch regarding the future state of the city.

I know this has probably come up a lot by now, but, we’ve killed Zhaitan, the world has celebrated. What happens next? Will Cantha and Elona ever become accessible? Or are we just stuck with the continent of Tyria? I’m fine with Tyria but after a while I see the players getting a little bored of the map. I don’t know, I guess I’m asking if the Personal Storyline is over after killing Zhaitan thinking there would be more to the Personal Storyline than just one dragon, or will it be continued like the ending kinda sort of implies? Any thoughts?

You completed 100% of the whole entire map? wow lol congrats. I wish I could make a legendary but it seems like too much time to even bother trying to me but if you get make one greater congrats to you! but anyways, I’m hoping Arena Net sees this and can start working on a fix for it.

Anyone else noticing a bug or something that prevents you from getting your rewards from completing map explorations? I just finished exploring the last waypoints in the Plains of Ashford and the Brisband Wildlands, I didn’t get my reward or the letter thing that says I explored it either. I also noticed that the last waypoint in each of the areas that I explored were both contested with no events happening. If anyone else has any other information that is relevant to this, please add it here.

I’m thinking of upgrading from my hp laptop to a brand new iMac 21.5 inch with Fusion Drive, but from watching these forums, I’ve been worried about whether or not Guild Wars 2 will run well on it.

Honestly I think it’s entirely for continuity reasons, same with Kormir jacking your spotlight in GW. They need to be able to say “Zhaitan was slain by Firstborn Sylvari Trahearne”. Not, “Zhaitain was slain by the commander of the pact but we know absolutely nothing about him.”

I agree, however, I also think that in the next expansion they’ll have a cool twist to loop the player into the spotlight somehow. But I agree with everyone else too. I would’ve liked to be more important in the story.

I wasn’t sure whether this was a tech support thing or account based but I just tried logging in today and it said something about another copy was open, but nothing Guild Wars related was open prior or during me attempting to open the game client. I tried to repair it, but there’s a certain step I can’t get past where you add “-repair” to the end of the target line, it won’t let me edit that at all. As soon as someone can give me further assistance on this I’d be grateful because I’d like to log in again asap.
