We are a small guild of 35 we are looking for new members or possibly even another small guild to bring into our ranks. We have bountys unlocked and plenty ready, running them twice a week. It is time for our guild to grow. I agree with the OP for sure here. I am a builder, its what is most fun for me in the game finding different skill combinations, I can do this quite often in pvp but for pve it is not nerely as fluid as it could be and I have for now made all of my pve builds in pvp first then transfered them over, it would save alot of hassel though to create a way to reset traits on the fly and a way to save and load templates like on GW1, this would be a great addition to the game.
I have read through alot of the forums, and am seeing alot of complaints about the Guild Bounties with small guilds. I ran through the first tier 1 as well as tier 3 just a moment ago with my guild, well actualy just two other people as most are on vacation atm. We managed to find and kill Trilla as shes quite easy albeit very difficult to capture with only two people, while my third searched for the drunken little asura that we all have come to love….lol. We found him soon after T’s death but ran out of time for the bounty at around half of his health.
Alright so my suggestion after a good amount of reading and playing through the content is simply increase the times on the bounty tiers. It will still require some tracking even for larger guilds, but then give smaller guilds the extra time they need in order to find and elimanate the targets. Possibly 20 minutes for tier 1? I also think it would be reasonable to increase the timer depending on the tier, so if tier 1=20 min then tier 2= 25 min(extra 5 for the extra champ) and then tier 3= 40 min(4 extra champs so 20 extra minutes). When I saw that the time for tier 3 was still 15 minutes I thought it was a bug at first, it doesn’t make sense in my opinion to not at least raise the time slightly for the added kills. The increase in time will make the tracking portion even more trivial I imagine for the extremely large guilds out there, but I think this is a better alternative as the boss fights can still be scaled properly to make them fun while making tier 3 at least possible for a small guild. This change would also allow for the difficulty of the boss fights themselves to be increased slightly since I know a few of the bosses scaling is not quite right or their health is too low at the moment making them drop within moments of starting. Hope this is read and taken into consideration by someone, thank you.

I had a similar issue with this on another game why and the cause was the satelight internet not sure if that is the ultimate issue with this but if nothing else at least the issue is getting looked into now.
cuz ur stituation is the same bud, dw about it as soon as Mike gets done investigating and sees we didn’t do anything wrong we can be back in game ^ ^.
If you are specifically seeing a message about “hacking” or “tampering with the game” then this is a different situation from your account being compromised.
Regarding that specific message (i.e. hacking/tampering), there may have been a mistake with our security monitoring systems last night around the time that the nightly update was released. I am investigating the data from that time period to make sure that we aren’t locking out players without good cause. If I discover that this has occurred I will work with Customer Support to get those accounts reinstated as soon as possible.

I received an automated in my email to let me know they got the ticket. and right now the game could very well be compromised to an extreme. this is a popular game that generated a crap load of hype. if some pro hackers decided to trash the game well this is how theyd do it. It may be quite awhile but if you know you didnt do anything wrong then I imagine we will get the account back eventualy. they are only unbanning certain accounts most liiely because they can be entirely 100% positive that those arent a threat. Just give it time, possibly alot of it. Too much of the game is bugged or missing content atm anyway. I reache lvl 80 and generaly beat everything every dung my storyline etc and was fairly close to 100% completion and really there was nothing new. wasn’t entirely worth playing anymore until 90% of the game gets rebalanced and they have time to add in the end game content if there will be any.
my guess is its just cuz we arent the first and theres possibly still an issue with a hacker out there. if there is then it is safer for our accounts to to be banned tbh. It just sucks trying to find something else to do for now.
and I am not syaing we were banned because of the isp we used. I think someone else used a hughesnet account to possibly hack the gw2 servers or something. and as a safety precausing they have banned any accounts that could be it. and sorry i know i said no theorys. but I believe once things get sorted out well have our accounts back to us and they are just banned indefinetly for now until the servers and allt eh accounts are safe.
that would come up as something different then when trying to log in. for instance it would say you ahve been perma banned for real world item tradeing etc. not something like " you ahve been perma banned for hacking or attempting to hack our servers". also ive checked the login history of my account and no one else tryed to log into it far as i can see. not to mention my password name everything were fine and not comprimised at all.
Well, you could be right, Crono. And if we were experienced more, we would have done that in a few minutes.. Yeah.. but that is not the point for me. It was our first try and even after one (and a half) hour which we spend on that point of story we were not able to kill them and that did not make any fun.
The lovers were quite hard to seperate and not the debuffs killed us (maybe one or two times, but we died a lot time more).. we were nearly instantly killed by the attacks from these two lovely guys before we had the chance to do more than one or two hits to them.
However, for us it was not challenging or fun and we found it pretty hard for your first dungeon.
I say for a first dungeon especialy the storymode it is a tad too difficult. i took an exsperienced team through and blazed through everything but then spent a good hour or more on the lovers trying to kite the dang things apart…its first dung….reallllly should be a bit easier. no new player is gonna enjoy dieing that mucha nd getting drained of their money. ide say the damage is fairly ok all i would do is increase their agro radius so its easier to get them apart and reduce the size of the circle that determines whether they get buffed or not. should be a small fix will keep the difficulty and just make it a tad eaier to kill them how you are supposed to.
Ever since wakeing up to it this morning and sending in the ticket etc ive been doing some research of my own into it to try and see whats going on. Some of what I noticed is alot of people getting this error are using hughesnet internet service provider. If anyone else has noticed this feel free to let me know on here. I assume since none of us actualy did something wrong this ban is to protect the servers and I don’t want to get in the staffs away of getting everything sorted. But a little information on whats going on couldnt hurt so post what you know, try to keep theorys out of it just need hard evidence. Eitherway I trust Anet if they banned us without warning and then posted such an odd reason for us to see. I guarentee theres a reason.
I am curious for those that managed to do the ghost eater path in AC, what strategy did you use to protect the npc with the traps? I had a group several times attempt it and each failed with multiuple ways of doign it using only the traps using the traps till the champion then jumping down and killing it etc etc.
Have 2 tankier classes stand where the traps are and bring all the mobs to them. 1 person on middle trap and 1 person on each of the two top traps (alternate between them both). The champion dies real fast when he’s getting hit by 3-4 traps at once.
The traps were dealing damage to it? All they did for us was slow it down literaly no damage at all. maybe another bug lol. cuz we did something similar i had a mesmer friend use portal jumping to keep the small mobs getting owned byt he traps whichw orked fine but couldnt do anything to the champion.
There is no bug, you have to keep the champion in the traps and spam them, and it will melt.
Tryed that and nada just slowed it down, could easily be a bug and were just on different servers. same as there was a bug with the lovers for awhile that navi could have had trouble with where they were impossible to seperate and every single time u got their circles apart even slightly they ran together and healed again and the message invulnerable is spammed. same as a few other monsters like drakes where if there agro zone is messed up and you move them even slightly you start getting invulnerable over and over and they just heal.

least you were only spending 7 silver navi lol costs me about 15 silver per repair. and even the zerging only works if you cordinate it right so that there is always at least one person fighting the boss so they dont heal. irritating and not even really a game i like to compare it to fileing paperwork over and over and over lol.

I noticed this also and agree with jepoochy that that is probably how it is calculated. I also ahve close to around 150% magic find when doing various tasks i noticed a difference very very very rarely. and found it to generaly not be worth the loss in stats. but with only dungeons or pvp left anyway and all stats cept power or precision being generaly useless in dungeons atm its kinda a toss up to what you want to use =/

I would have to say the dungeons are too hard its that simple. Compare AC to Arah and AC is a good 2-3x more difficult in both modes. thats compareing the first dungeon to the last and the first is the more difficult by a large margin……i do love the difficulty but its just too much im a veteran player, I have GWAMM and Champion of the gods, I have played games like this most of my life and am very good with strategy and not that it matters but I have an IQ of 153….soooo lol trust me its too hard. Whether its a bug or not eh idk its just something that needs tweeked a bit once the developers have the time. Right now though I randomly cant even access the game after being permabaned for aparently hacking their servers lol….in my sleep….lol so ya im a tad more worried about those issues and know they will get down to the rebalancing last or close to it. we just need to be patient ^ ^ Dungeons arent the only area either there are major issues primarily witht he downleveling as far as i know, something about lvl 30s have better stats in a lvl 30 area with lvl 30 armor then a lvl 80 thats being downed to lvl 30 with lvl 80 gear on does. now i think my lvl 80 ele should be down leveled so that i cant just one hit everything with lavafont but to be less then another player at lvl 30? nah that needs tweaked, if its even true i never got a chance to test it.
