As a WvW Guardian all I see is a pretty nasty nerf which makes me so glad I decided to get Bifrost now. :/

Do tell tho, I had complains in Eternal yday that “Deso has no scouts”, but then when I do report (in /map) nothing ever happens… what gives? Is there any other way (preferably where people will actually respond) to give the info? Like, a big “wvw chat” that is not /map?

Map chat can often be filled with general talking and the usual trolls.

An alternative is to use the “/t” command which the brighter red text you see. This may help a bit but not always.

The best way is to get on the Desolation TeamSpeak (DesoSpeak) and call out things verbally as you will always get peoples attention. I would recommend join DesoSpeak whenever you are in WvW anyway (just jump in and ask in /m or /t for permissions) as it makes communication and coordination with the commander far clearer and easier.

There is also a DesoSpeak website that is for the Desolation community that has heaps of stuff you may find helpful if you are new to the game.

As a mesmer I try to ensure I have chaos armor on me at all times. When an enemy hits me with chaos armor on they can get 1 stack of confusion. If they have retaliation and continue to hit me the retaliation from the confusion ticks hits me like a truck.

How does this force me to play better?

I like the idea of retaliation but the execution is just bad.

Really? Retaliation works on Confusion? Well if that’s the case why on earth doesn’t Confusion work on Retaliation? I’d love to see Mesmers and Guardians edging nervously away from each other, with the occasional pair of smoking boots when one or other had got careless. =)

Hey all,

After grinding out my ascended fractal back piece with the goal to make it all nice and shiny, I was overcome with a moment of madness and applied a pink Quaggan to it.

Its cute and all, but I really regret it now!

Does anyone know if there is a way to perhaps transmute it back so I can make it all shiny again without having to grind out 1850 relics again (because that was a PITA)?
