I have no idea what may have caused me to get an error stating there is a problem with the data archive.

For the second time in about 10 days the game said there was a problem with the data archive and went about repairing it. However, this time the whole GW2.exe process got hung up so I killed it and restarted GW2 expecting it to finish repairing the data archive but it did not. The game started normally.

What is causing the corrupted files, and why did the repair not finish?

After finishing VoD on my guardian, one of the rewards as an exotic Ragamuffin Bandana. I put it in storage for my ranger and I just went to equip it and discover that it is a level 18 mask.

Is that supposed to be there, a level 18 exotic for the end game reward? Because that just doesn’t seem right.

ETA: It turns out somebody else in the guild also got a level 18 exotic from VoD.

This would resolve most, but not all, of my complaints.

The patch has basically said to me that the way I play the game is wrong and I am going to be punished for it. If the changes are going to stay on alts, is it possible to get refunds from the gem store? Because I would return a couple of character slots.

Confirmed you can make it ascended even if it’s transmuted.

I wish I knew this before I spent most of my blade fragments on starting a new back piece…Oh well, at the current 3 a day that I get it will only be a few months before I have enough to upgrade it again.

Chrome is blocking me from accessing the Millenium fansite at mos.millenium.org saying the site is a known spreader of malware. The site is linked to from the WvW mid-season report.

We (ZoS) met MM for a little 16 vs. 16 action. It was supposed to be a best of 5 encounter. ZoS kicked MM butt in the first 2 matches. We were accused of having more than 16 even tho at least 4 MM came and counted us 3 times. During the third battle MM just brought in about 30. Couldn’t fight us fair, that is why it is sad.

ZoS, is more than willing to meet for those sorts of encounters if anyone is willing to have equal fights.

I’ve had the same issue and started a thread but nothing ever came of if. I’ve tried to finish the achievement 4 times and have been unable to. I’ve been with others who have cleared the same posters as I have and they have gotten credit while I have not.

I’ve noticed this as well and came to start a thread but this one is already here.

I have tried to finish the achievement Cleaning Up the Neighborhood four times now. All attempts were using Dulfy as a guide. One attempt was with a large group of people who got the achievement while I did not. Today was the fourth time I tried to do it, with somebody actually point to each poster and I still did not get the achievement.

This is happening on the Northern Shiverpeaks server.

Maybe the name of the char is seen as “in use” if you are too fast in recreating after deleting.

No, it was not within 24 hours. Actually, it has been about 2-3 weeks between when I last used the name and then tried to use it again.

I am curious about one of my character names. It is a name that I use in Guild Wars and I have used it in Guild Wars 2. I remade the character a few times and the last time I tried to remake the character, the name was in use. How is that possible?

Here is my Sylvari ele. She is wearing a mix of TA and cultural tiers 1,2 and 3.

I keep hoping that Meteorlogicus will get some polish. At the very least I hope I can see it and use Stone Shards at the same time.

When using stone shards the scepter in hand will just vanish from the screen and the shards come out of your hands. Sometimes the scepter doesn’t come back unless there is a weapon swap.

This is still bugged. I crafted Meteorlogicus last night and it still happens.

I just crafted Meteorlogicus and it is bugged when using the Stone Shards skill. The whole thing just vanishes from the screen.

This Skill challenge is now working on the Northern Shiverpeaks server.

Last night I was in a group doing path 2 of Caudecus’s Manor. The party was wiped inside the house and we all res’d at the only waypoint available which is outside of the house. There was no way for us to get back into the house. All the entrances were closed.

I’m needing to get some obby shards and Balthazar hasn’t been open on our server for close to 3 weeks. If some body could post a server where it is open so I could guest, I would be grateful.

In the last 8 weeks, our server has faced the same 2 other servers for at 6 of those weeks and lost every time because we don’t have the same numbers. I am no longer going to waste my time in WvW until there are changes.
