Like lackofcheese have said, it’s most likely because the four other members in your party are carrying the bit of weight that your MF stats is putting on them. Most dungeons are easy as range/casters, but melees will definitely not get away with wearing MF gear, especially with no points in any defensive stats. However, if you do try with 5 members in MF gear I can guarantee you’ll see a very noticeable difference in your party’s survivability almost instantly.
I’m telling you I haven’t had a single dungeon where we were in any danger whatsoever of failing. Most of the time we complete it without anyone getting defeated. How am I supposed to see any increase in survivability?

The thread has not been derailed, you are saying that MF gear is imperative to maximize loot, it is, but only works to a point. Only you alone is getting away with having full MF gear in dungeon runs because like I said, the other 4 members—most likely not in MF gear—in your group are picking up some of your slacks. You will not see a difference in survivability unless you run with 4 other members in magic find gear.

A nerf for condition necros and a buff for power necros.
I think it’s definitely the underrated dungeon.
Don’t forget to use #2 on your DS, it’s a very good gap closer.

It’s extremely hard to stomach this current situation because many players who hasn’t even exploited or speed clear dungeons are affected by this faulty and buggy DR. Crovack, you are right, I don’t give a kitten kitten about the DR system, but the fact that it’s affecting players who aren’t suppose to be affected, it’s frustrating to say the least. Every time I do a dungeon I’m always getting a static 15 tokens no matter if it’s my first time. We are the ones getting shafted and the short end of the straw. It takes every inch of my will to stop myself from going on a tangent on this forum because these dungeons are the “endgame” content. I actually like doing this dungeons because every other PvE contents I can do in my REM sleep with two pinkies.
The fact that they stated that this bug does not warrant a hotfix, it just goes to show where and what the mentalities of ANet are. There is NO sense of urgency to fixing something that’s been highly boasted about and praised as “endgame”.
Many respect lost for ANet.
The trick is for the member who entered the instanced first to “reset” by logging out to a different character then logging back in with his/her man, worked every time this problem occurred with me. If it does not work, then I would suggest all party members “resetting”.
If you’re planning to run dungeons, 3 Monk and 3 Water is the best by far. With your gear and build you can pretty much tank almost everything when your wells are down, help remove tons of pressure from very large group of mobs, mini boss, boss and everyone will start begging you to run dungeons with them.
Skills: Well of Blood, Well of Suffering, Well of Corruption, Well of Darkness, Plague/Lich for boss.
Traits: Blood – Ritual of Life, Ritual Mastery, Vampiric Rituals. Death – Ritual Protection, Staff Mastery. Curses – Chilling Darkness [I prefer taking 10 points off Blood and putting it to Curses for the ground targeted Wells]
The reason for 3 Monks and 3 Water is for the 30% boon duration for the 3s protection when you cast Wells on yourself or on your teammates. You get an extra .9 sec of protection from each Wells for a total of almost 16 seconds of protection. Not to mention the extra 3s from a potential Well of Blood for ressing a teammate. You can just basically stand still and tank a large group of mobs regening health faster than damage you take, after your aoe heals wear off, stall in DS or Plague spamming #2 and by the time it wears off rinse and repeat with weapon skills here and there. I’ve done this in half MF gear and I still felt godly.

So, pray tell, how does a player get 45 tokens from a single dungeon clear?
Diminishing rewards on the first time of the day running that particular dungeon path?
You are being impacted by the DR system for your path as a result of having completed several other paths too quickly, before going to that specific path. Because you were being influenced by other the DR system, the 60 tokens you earned were diminished to 45.
Can I assume you did a few other paths and got 60 tokens for those?In the event an exploit happens that allows players to clear different dungeon paths quicker than expected, the DR system also kicks in.
So you have revised the DR to affect DIFFERENT paths rather than it kicking in only through the repetition of one path like you guys have initially stated before?
From what I’m understanding after the first dungeon run, even if a group is alternately rotating and doing every path for a dungeon, the tokens earned will keep diminishing until it reaches the lowest amount one can get until the next server day. Am I getting this right?
I’ve been trying my best to be patient with the dungeons and their rewards, but ANet is full of failure. I was very excited that players are finally gonna stop with “speed runs” or “farm runs” group because of the new reward system. So I did Honor of the Waves, Butcher path for the first time in a few days and I get a measly 15 kitten tokens. Thank you ANet, thank you. I don’t mind the DR they are implementing one bit, but when it causes bugs after bugs, inconsistencies after inconsistencies with players getting the full tokens and others receiving very small amount of kitten tokens, it just gets very frustrated especially for players who want to earn these tokens with no shortcuts.
