Guild Wars 2

I’m looking for a relatively relaxed guild with TS that still does things (e.g., PvP, WvW, dungeons, missions, etc.), on one of the 4th – 7th ranked servers. I don’t want to be on a giant server because WvW queues there are eternal and the demands on guildies seem to be extreme.

By “relaxed” I mean I won’t get kicked out just for not being on for a week or two, I won’t be ordered to do things (e.g., be in WvW at x time or you’ll be kicked!), and the leader and officers aren’t on crazy power trips.

I’d prefer older members (20s – 30s+) who are mature and don’t take everything like it’s the end of the world. I do, however, want the guild to be okay with some amount of foul language, and not overly militant with regard to what would be called the “SJW” movement nowadays.

This Mortal Coil [COIL] (NA) is a PvX guild located on Gate of Madness, though people from any and all servers are welcome. We focus on PvP, Dungeons, World Bosses, and WvW.

We have somewhat of a non-conventional guild structure, in which everyone has the same rank except for myself and those I deem as officers. As a result, anyone can inv ite anyone to the guild. A consequence of this is that anyone flagrantly misbehaving needs t o be reported to me at once, as well as the person who invited them, so that they can be strippe of their rights.

Upon joining, everyone is given rank such that they can invite anyone else. Everyone in the guild has the same rank except me and those I choose to make officers to take care of things in my absence.

When I log in, it starts to load the Lion’s Arch opening screen, and after a few seconds the client crashes.

I like the idea. Variety would do some good.

I’ve been playing since launch, and have several high-level alts. I am experienced at dungeon running (except HotW and SE), and am looking for a guild that will not die on me as the previous ones I’ve joined have. I prefer a guild with Teamspeak or Ventrilo, and a laid back guild that can still get things done. I don’t want an entirely rigid guild, but I do need a guild that knows when to be serious and when not to be.
