Here is the Anet log file that should have all the crashes in it.

I have been crashing constantly over the last few months and need some help to fix it. I was posting in the bug forum but it was probably the wrong one to post in. I have many crash reports and a diagnostic. My PC specs are as follows:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Intel i7-2600k
8GB 1600 RAM
Gigabyte GTX560ti 1GB
Corsair force gt 120gb SSD (for OS)
1TB HDD (cant remember brand)
750w Corsair PSU

I’m also getting massive in game lag, especially in zergs or crowded areas.

I just did a diagnostic and from what I can tell i seem to be getting a packet loss in places. Is it my ISP (iinet) that is the problem?

The game now doesn’t crash as much but still does crash and lag. I got a crash bug and this file comes up most of the time when it crashes. I hope someone can help.

I just checked and apparently i had 2 dat files from when i reinstalled it so i got rid of the old one and then started the new one. The game seems to have improved but i will put myself into a few zergs and some wvw to make sure its fixed it self.

I’ll post a few crash reports to show you what i mean. It’s a mix of crashing to character select as well as full game crashes.

Sorry for the late response everyone, I didn’t think anyone wasn’t going to answer. I will check through all your posts and try everything. So far i have redownloaded the whole game and there seems to be no difference. I have a strong feeling that it is a memory issue. I do have 64bit windows 7 and i have 8gb of ram. If i do figure out how to fix this i will post it and hopefully it will help others.

Hi everyone, for about 5 months or so now i have been experiencing constant crashes and drop outs. I have done just about everything possible to fix it. I have ran -repair several times, i have opened ports on my router, lowered game settings. I just missed out on marionette loot because i crashed 3 times during the fight and was lucky enough to reconnect two of those times. I posted this same problem a couple of months ago and the problem still hasn’t been fixed. I would post crash reports but they seem to change with each crash. I don’t have any of these problems on any other game I play. I am extremely annoyed to the point where i don’t want to play anymore. I am simply at my wits end with the problem.

Thanks for the help guys, after the repair it only crashed once and hasn’t since. Thanks for helping me solve my issue

Hey guys, i just repaired and got another crash about 20 mins later. It seems like i get a different code every time i crash.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will have to figure out what is using all that ram. And i’ll also run a repair and see if that fixes it. This issue has been a pain for a while and seems to be getting worse.

I have been crashing a lot myself, and I happen to have the same card except its only the GTX 560ti OC. I would not be surprised if it is the card because i have had so many problems with mine from day 1.

For a couple of months i have been crashing to desktop several times a day, usually at least 5 times a day. I have saved the crash report and have attached it to this post.

I am getting the same error and it is always after guild chat and party chat stop working. Strangely map chat and say chat work still. The game crashes to a black screen or disconnects me when this happens

I am having the same problems and I am not sure if it is my router, internet or guild wars 2 doing it. The funny thing is that map chat and say chat still work fine but usually after trying to send a couple of guild messages or party chat messages I either get a black screen or get kicked back to character select. It is making the game unbearable to play.
