so for a guild do i just ask for an invite in the chat box when in WvW? how can i tell if they are good rather than a few random players?

ok guys, ill take a look at it when im online tomorrow, so i go into WvW and look for the blue marker and then go to them and find a big group and go with them and just do what i can, kills drop items i can use and give me exp?

so how do i get gear within wvw? or is it all pve stuff i need to bring in with me? so if i levelled from lvl 4 id always be in my starter gear unless i dropped back into pve to gear?

also how do i find a zerg? my server is normally dominant every time ive looked at the wvw map but i can never find big fights?

ok so level to 10 in pve then go WvW and im nopt going to be levelling that much slower?

So my question is, is WvW not worth doing until i have grinded PvE to max level?

Im not a big fan of questing but it seems the fastest way to level so i guess ill have to so I can be optimal in WvW?

You can level while WvW’ing, although results may vary. PVE levelling is probably more consistent than PVP. THere are times in PVP where you may rake in XP and other times where you may get squadoosh.

thanks, so is there a level i should quest to before considering WvW? I want to not get totally smashed but dosent it take months to max a character?

im not going to roll a class i dont want to play and level in pve just to help in 1 game mode. I just want help understanding the game dynamics not the class system and combat of the game…

So you went with the most overpowered class in the game, congratulations.
You can now run around in WvW at whatever level you are with no gear and still win every fight you come across. Just make sure you hit all your keys before they die to throw in some variety.

ok so im not actually slashing at anyone to get kills? just aoe stuff?

thanks i have no idea what im doing still so i just need something that i can learn the game with until i have enough knowledge to play the high dmg low health builds

yea i want a build that can kill well without me getting smashed for me to practice with basically, a good trade off. seems everyone uses these double dagger backstab builds?

ok cool so you salvage the stuff you get in the chests then use the loickers to craft good stuff?

Is there a specific good theif spvp build i can use to learn and get good with thats forgiving for a beginner? I know people said copy twitch top players but obviously thry can get away with playing with less health etc…

also guys with the pvp reword chests i can buy, whats the point when i buy one open it and get a load of stuff that looks the same as i could have got off the vendors for free? is it best to just stack the points until i can get higher level stuff? I know its all cosmetic but is it really a random chance of getting something usable on ure class that looks good?

right ok so i dont need to set them up. im trying my first game and im just getting constantly trashed over and over and over. not fun at all. resorted to just using a bow and standing way back as i just get smashed in melee : /

ok cool, ive gone theif and copied a build, do boons, effects, conditions etc setup automatically?

so i just picked the game up to play some pvp.

Im finding it massively overwhelming at the moment as to setting up my class/character , I wanted to know if there are any good vids / series that can help me. Also are there any leader boards / something similar to wow armoury so I can see what builds are popular for my to try out?
