My feedback: I like the new zone, a lot, I am a farmer and these mobs drop good loot/bloods. I like the new dungeon it is very well thought out. I don’t like how unrewarding the dungeon is with fractal shards, instead of 5 per boss it should be slightly higher. The new zone and dungeon to me out weigh the bugged event, I don’t do events often and when I do it’s just for fun, not a game breaker for me.

I give this patch a 9/10 mainly because my class wasn’t nerfed into the ground like others, if it had been I would simply quit.

Really like the new zone.

Can’t remember any game in the history of the earth nerfing warriors. it’s something you don’t do. I play one because I know this from 15 years of mmo exp.

It’s going to be just as hard to get acend items as it is for legendary, grind+50g crafting costs with the material you farmed for.

Kills my motivation to continue playing, that’s all that really needs to be said about the matter and I am sure others feel the same.

Ever since I decided to not grind fractals I have been liking the game a lot more without the need for the grind.

I will grind for cosmetics not for small upgrades, I am wearing over 2k arah shards in item skins and wanting to do more.

The game is fun only if you approach it with a positive attitude, in my case, not fractal farming for months on end with bad people in groups, (no idea, not 80, not geared, noty)

I’m sick of being infracted for my harsh opinions so I will say this.

The game is going down a dark and narrow path with these unclear and radical changes.

You have all got the moneys worth, you are not entitled, sorry but money>your concerns.

Simple solution, don’t do the gear grind, let the no lifers do it.

A few extra stats isn’t worth half a year of farming, 15 fractals a run, 1 hour runs, 2k+ required.

Going back on design philosophy won’t make people buy the game and will not promote gem sales, this is just pure logic.

A statement on what, you know 90% or more of the game population doesn’t even use the forums? the biggest thread we have has 100k views and the game sold 2mil+

Statement on what, and who is going to read it, the vocal minority right.

I am sure a lot of people will quit over this myself included, If I want gear progression I play wow because it’s better.

Any game that tries to compete directly with wow in terms of gear progression get’s deleted, rift, swtor, etc etc.

Is advertising a non loot treadmill then putting one in considered false advertising? and if so what can be done.

You can expand end game with dungeons that don’t suck… nuff said.

They pulled the wool over the eyes of the entire playerbase because they could not make useful activities at end game.

Lie + lie = even more players leaving than already are.

doesn’t matter if the new gear added +1 stat, the fact it adds any is a lie to every player who purchased the game. Tons of people are preparing to leave this game once the treadmill sets in.

Adding a gear grind will make more people leave than make people return. Sorry Anet but your lies will be the death of your game.

People have been quitting this game for months, to now the player base is getting dangerously low they are forced to take back the no grind philosophy. There was and still is nothing to do at 80 so they did this to change it up.

I feel sorry for the people who buy gems in a game that lies to it’s customers.

If it was so great why is the playerbase leaving or not loggin in once they got 80? hmmm

if the group is failing it isn’t some persons mf gear which takes off 1 of his stats, it’s you or the whole group…

How would the game know? I could just stand in 1 spot and not kill 1 mob, then when I do decide to kill a mob I get nothing? it’s based off a kill count since that’s easy to program.

It is clear that no drop does indeed double past a certain kill count, not time.

Followed by worse quality (vendor trash) while crafting mats stay the same.

This leaves a conclusion of, a) logout for an hour to reset your DR or b) continue farming and getting trash.

Since I love farming I myself farm through the Anti farm code and stock pile the heavy moldy bags which are worth nice money.

They want bots to play not people, understand this.

From my exp it’s sight/distance threat, if they can see you clearly, if you are standing ontop of them, you will get aggro. Damage is not a source of threat from what I have seen, just like you pointed out the thief hit him once and the mob is still on him.

These are just my guesses, sight/distance aggro.

My worst complaint is the anti farming code, but yeh I sorta see others issues also, just give it some time, all I can say really.

Non constructive threads tend to get burried and die and or deleted. Sometimes I say things that hurt others feelings but in general I bring constructive criticism, this is neither.

When there is only 2 dungeons being ran right? arah and Cof, so actually 86% of the content is being ignored, since no one is running anything else.

the reason wow has lived for so long is because trinity works, and this system does not, in a dungeon, at all. Bring 5 thiefs or 5 mesmers and see what happens.

same thing on these forums, almost a full page of negativity on a daily basis.

wouldn’t you rather pay a sub for a game that was fun at max lvl? rather than no sub, grind gold that has no meaning, etc etc? all my friends already shelved it in 3 weeks.

d3 sold 8 mil copies and its horrible, don’t say cuz it sold 2 million it isn’t bad.

melee is bad, stop defending bad design.

quit my 80 warrior because pve and pvp is trash as a melee and horribly designed.

There is no advantage to being melee.

There is no fun being downed all day.

There is so skill to be melee, you either range or you die.

There is no melee in pvp, you either range or you die.

There is no condition removal for melee, you get immobilized, you die.

It’s just trash and this game favors ranged only, so I am a lvl 5 ranger and the game is actually worth playing now, for the meantime.

Wow didn’t know about this till now, I can’t believe this is even real, you think the bots care? they are not even humans, they will just stay there forever.

This hurts players and nobody else.

Remove this garbage script. You don’t get to say how long I farm, I do.

I agree with the op, as a warrior with probably double your hp (24k) I still find myself forced to use my longbow on trash pulls in arah ex. I wouldn’t say it’s horrible to do so but it sort of feels like I am forced to at times, some players have said this game favors range over melee and it’s very easy to see that. You can stack as much toughness and vit as you want but you are still going to die to 1 hit mechanics, acid pools, you name it. Just sharing my xp as a melee. My bro quit his rogue for a necro because he cannot stand to be 1 hit day in and day out, and that’s even using his short bow, thieves just don’t have the hp pool to absorb ranged attacks and that’s just the mechanics.

Too many bads from wow and other games are flooding these forums with trash, just kitten, make constructive posts, help people, make suggestions and play this great game that Anet slaved over for years for you people. They even had to stop their sales to catch up on server capacity constraints so you could enjoy a crisp and smooth game.
