Whats really funny is using Kill Shot on people while defending with the piercing trait. Can easily 1-shot 2-3 people if your angle is right.
4. Won’t happen. The whole reason behind this DR bs is because Anet feels the dungeons reward too much already, apparently tokens included.
You might consider checking the code on this diminishing system so that it doesn’t carry over to other paths seeing as it does currently now.
Why is there even a pentalty to begin with?
An organized group completed a dungeon in record time. <—- this deserves a punishment? wth?
If there was a bug/exploit being abused why not fix that instead of ^
I didn’t like how it was before, because you had to run a dungeon 50+ times to get everything you wanted. In comparison to how it is now, jeez I freaking love the old system.
So here’s a run-down of where I am coming from. I group each day with the same 5-6 people to run the various explorable dungeons in the game to get our cosmetic sets. Our group make-up works great with each other and we’re fairly good killings mobs and not standing in red circles. We don’t die very often and have very little downtime when chaining dungeons together.
With this new system I’m wishing we had the old one back for a consistent 20 rather than being continually punished for playing the game how we want to. We clear the dungeons fast without any kind of exploit. We went into HotW just now and cleared each of the three paths(Yay Butcher is fixed) and with each path our tokens dropped by 15. —> 60 45 30.
Personally I don’t want to run another dungeon right now. Thankfully WvWvW still has its flair, despite my server’s poor performance.
Sorry to say but you need to spend more time with other trait builds then.
I leveled to 80 using the Hammer, I pvp with Hammer + Maces and I run explorables+WvWvW using Double-Axe + Rifle. I used to use Greatswords, but grew tired of standing still for that long in melee range for 1 high number that I can easily get elsewhere faster.
Each of them feel perfectly viable to me. You’re not having to build your crit up by purely running a signet build are you? Please say no.
Typically I’ll bounce between either a high toughness Shout healing build(or banner) and a glass cannon rifle build for when I want to kill people w/ 2 buttons.
A big drain on your damage? A skill that hits an uncapped amount of targets and another that provides another form of Fury when signet of rage is on cd?
Yeah, right.
