8 sec is not traited if traited it become 10. it have 50 sec cd due to the cd start when it’s activated. my question is simple give me a full condi job beside mez than can kill regen warrior 1 on 1 in 50 sec…. try to play all class before u troll somthin so that u won’t need to edit ur post lol
It’s not -100%cond duration. It’s -100%condition duration on crippled/chilled/immobilize
And the only warrior skill that aids in that is Dogged March(33%reduction on movement restricting conditions). The rest comes from Melandru Runes and Lemongrass. Which any class can buy.

The best defensive moved? Yeah cool stances on long cd’s compared to teleports, blinds and such with cd’s shorter than my …

Ele and guard have higher dps is true. but it only works in pve… symbol and aoe works in a target area, like someone beside mobs stupid enough to stand on top of aoe circle…
thief can do 5 heart seeker at max or 6 with cast time 3/4 each = 4.5 sec with 2700 range (Max traited for intiative)
Warrior can use rush and whirlwind = 3sec and 1650 range
True warrior is shorter but can u look at the ratio fo the armor? The Hp pool?
The best defensive move: who need teleport when they got 3 invul skills ( shield stance / endure pain/ defiant stance), perma regen?, -100% condition duration?, Heal on shout? and if the dev even think about reduce the cd on stance trait… i’ll change my main to wr…
Best res: when they say best res = elite banner…. it’s the best ranged res move…
As for downed state i can;t say much because it;s situational. true ele have the best downed skills if we stay near a gate or semething if not… it’s just a 4 sec delay to death.

Actually….we really like the way the warrior is now. Of course we whine when the warrior gets nerfed…..after range characters who do not know how to keep their distance and expect to have a chance against a powerful melee character whines first because they do not understand how to play their character or are playing it wrongly.
So having said that, we can also turn around and tell other classes to learn and enjoy it better and correctly and should not just drop a “warrior needs a nerf!!!!” everytime they are downed by a warrior because they let him get to near.
What people complain about warrior are:
for example someone with the same IQ played warriors for 1000hours in SPVP/WVW roaming and the other player play any job beside mez / thief ( jobs that specialized in one on one)
Both them of course with the same IQ will be equally good right?
and u can guess who win the fight if they fight one on one….
and seriously dude.. If warrior used stability and berserker stance at the same times how do u stop them from getting close?
and the new warrior heal skill works with condition…. it’s op. My main is not a guard… but i think anet should switch guard and warrior new heal skill
It’s only in the area in between, in 1vs2 or 2vs3, that we have issues, since multiple opponents always target us first. Lots of classes have advantages over us there. Being pretty decent in duels and zergs, but horrible in small-scale group combat doesn’t seem so bad to me.
Gotta agree with this, and frankly, I don’t see why not being able to take on multiple opponents at the same time is such a big issue. When you stop and think about it, is it realistic to ask for a profession that can take on multiple opponents in a game that’s supposed to be balanced? Of course not.
Normally Anierna and I disagree, but in this case, what he says makes sense. Protests are unneccesary. Though there’s still room for improvement, things are better since the recent patch. I can’t determine is wheter that’s due to other profession’s nerfs or our own changes, but I fear it’s the former.
i wont complain about ele if all people inside my aoe cricle get hit by all my meteors like mobs in pve…. seriously…
Gw 2 is pay to win… I’m disagree with this. i never found someone with equal skill to play in gw 2, to be able to solo more than 3 people at the same times….
If u want to try pay to win games. try to play Perfect World. played it awhile in it’s early stage… with $3000-$6000 u can solo 1 guild if u want…. (That is if everyone in the guild don;t have the pay to win rank armor ^^)lol
….. from my point of view is just they think dev don’t listen to players. sure people can talk normally everywhere. but for most people they post more than once and wait a bit, and after the wait what do they get….. That’s why a lot of people trolling in forums… Although there are some people that troll because it’s their hobby ^^.
And some people like me just wait and see where’s anet going to bring this game to.
myabe CDI will work much faster if eq: some people which have highest achievement, some people with highest rank in wvw and some people with highest rank from spvp could help in giving notes to dev. about job balance, pve, and wvw.

our problem is that in wvw people got hit by our meteor twice at max, then they dodge rolled…. if someone stay in our meteor aoe circle i’m sure they’ll just die, or barely survive.
about the buff from last patch… actually i didn’t see any buff…. my build stay same, still 0-20-0-20-30…. for me it’s just a nerf. can’t have -20% water skill cd now. i don’t think it’s possible for ele to have a decent condition build… which why diamond skin trait is useless.
V,VIII,XI for arcane which used to be same (only blasting staff and Elemental Attunement switched place)
Water III,X which used to be I and V (too bad can’t get 20% cd on water skill now so going for 20% cantrip cd instead)

What i like is the job balance. But I still complain a lot about warrior lol.
Played free to play games before this… such like Rising Force, Perfect World, 3Kingdom Online, Runes Of Magic, and Allods… the thing i love about this game is we don;t spend as much money and not a single person can use real money to kill a whole party solo….

One small thing i forgot before….. warrior can use range as well…..
and u can call Warrior is a melee class…
as far as i am concerned, the warrior is a melee character. the whole lot of people who complain about them are mostly range players, who somehow never kept their distance and allowed the warrior to come to close. To me, thats your fault. Dont expect the warrior to have to cover the distance to meet you at melee range only to melee with pathetic damage. Plus covering the distance means we have to take damage too.
So really, to those to play range character, learn to play and keep your distance. And dont go playing a range character with a melee weapon and come crying because you dont have a chance against the warrior.
You dont know how hard it is sometimes when we need to cover ground just to get the melee distance. It can sometime take 1/3 of our health or more to do that.
The problem with range jobs. is with warriors stability…. and – duration cripple, immob. chill trait.
Any ranged jobs only got mostly 2 immob skill with a 2 sec duration at max
Chill skill mostly are ground target u can dodge rolled it easily
Cripple the duration is too short
Ward and knockback u can go through it with stability
And what i hate the most is how the hell i can stop a warrior when he using berserker stance and balanced stance at the same time when using Rush it’s a 2sec insta 1200 range…. and u’re saying u have to take damage to close the gap? even if’re not using GS u still can throw bolas come easily with shield stance…
So how can i solo kite a wr…. if u’re that good in kiting maybe i’ll need to learn from u a lot… from my point of view GW2 range jobs can only kite pve mobs (not all of them).
What I’m saying is that. Wr need a lot of nerf (at least in stability or condition) or change their trait line a bit. their good trait is to accesible and too good… especially the trait line In defense and tactics.

And dev say warrior can’t do both (survival and damage) I’ll kill anyone to get my ele to get that kind of final stats…
Even with dolyak signet and balanced stance they got a 16 sec stability (without trait) with trait adding one extra balanced stance and extra 25% duration for stance they got a 28 sec stability in total… and 10 sec of almost immune condition…
1. They’re thick as hell due to regen
2. They hurt as hell
3. They stun like hell ( try fight against a group of 3 good coordinated wr player. they’ll stun lock 5 people to dead easily)
The only job i can think of, which easier to defeat Wr is mez

I don’t get the saying that ele getting buffed… ele build used to be 20 at least in water and 20 in arcane. so what’s the difference? arcane V or some people prefer using VI is a must in any build….
Maybe adding a penalty to people who leave the match before it end (Something Like a 10 – 15 mins delay before they can joining other server will be good) A lot of people worried about win-loase ratio too much… and the autobalance sometimes don;t work at all…
We don’t mind warriors doing massive damage, or doing great area of effect control, but we’re trying to prevent them from easily doing both.
In order to understand this nerf we will use deductive reasoning to see if the arguments premises necessitate the conclusion. If the premise is true than the conclusion must be true.
To do this we will switch the sentence so that it reads backwards becasue if the conclusion is true than the premise must be true.
We are trying to prevent warriors from easily doing great area of effect and control, or easily doing doing massive damage. However we don’t mind them doing both.
This statement is very problematic.
First ANET you never proved that it is easy. And failed to state in what context it is easy. Is it easy vs another profession that can dodge, use stability, blink, stealth, stun break. Answer is no. Is it going to be just as easy after you just extensively buffed the other professions the answer is no.So ANET not only did you fail to prove that it was easy but you also failed to prove it would be easy without the nerf to warrior assuming the buffs to other professions go as planed and no change to warriors occurred in the same process.
Secondly ANET, you said we’re trying to prevent them from easily doing both.
This is a conjecture becasue in the 1st part of your statement by saying that "warriors doing massive damage, or doing great area of effect control you imply that they do not do both. By saying “OR” instead of “BOTH”The 1st part of the statement is true. But the second part of the statement is false. How do we know becasue the 1st and the 2nd part of the statement do not have the same conclusion. Thus the statement is false.
Conclusion.
This is a politically motivated nerf, motivated by false pretenses and data. And by significantly buffing other professions and nerfing warriors under false pretenses. ANET you have failed to balance the game.

I’ll give u simply a simple build of a poor warrior build without any expensive rune. and without any ascended equipment. for pve.
U can heal when u Shout… 1660 heal for each shout with simply 3 shout better than normal heal other jobs can do with 24 cd max? and 54% crit chance with perma fury, and 93% crit damage…..
u can get 1840 power with 23k Health pool and almost 2800 armor. Seriously maybe u should try to play an ele or a guardian ( the jobs with the lowest health pool) and try to fight against Warrior….
seriously warrior is OP….. if u really want to defeat a warrior easier, create a pistol mesmer ^^ or a spirit ranger will be nice.

Got kicked once while pugging in fotm around 3-4 months ago, haven’t get kicked since. after that everytime i went pugging i always write/ add friend the person on left top of the party bar. just incase I get kicked, at least i got getting him/her in my personal blacklist.
Although i don;t really get about how personal blacklist works. i know i can;t wisp/ read chat by people who got into my personal blacklist, not sure about partying. Maybe i’ll test it later to my friend just of curiousity. Lol
About the instance from what i know when the owner of the instance get dced. as long the other don;t kick the one who open the instance u can still finish the instance right?

Um Can we plz have all ascended equipment account bound when used not soulbound and even better if it’s tradeable before used ^^
From what i know the dev is gonna make World Rank Acc bound which is good. The thing is my main char is ele and i got all my char to 80 for every job witch exotics equipment and full ascend for my main.
The problem is for the ascended weapon, armor and acc and neck which is harder to get, I don;t really mind for Exotics being soulbound and all because it’s easy to make and cheap but for ascended weapon / acc/ neck even if u have all the gold in gw2 u still need to wait for laurel for acc and neck, or 2 weeks guild mission, or 5 days daily crafting to get the weapon.
For most char trait build is always change every time according to balance patch and trend.which make the old ascended weapon / backs become less effective. I can’t salvage ascended eq to get anything or let my other char use it which is kinda a waste.
Saw a few posts about people begging for Legendary Weapons to be account bound as well. Which i think will be more convenient.

what? unbelievable i killed warriors like creeps and you people asking how to kill a warrior?.
-enfeebling blood is the bane of all melee class, pop that skill and he is a kitten
- you are a fool if you fight a warrior on melee range, just try to distance yourself a little bit since most of necro weapon are ranged
- ds>2 + doom will solve all your problem. it usually reduced the warrior to a running husk from what i experienced
- if you are stunned or immobilized just pop up the ds (takes a bit of training)
- don’t forget the condition transfer (dagger 4 or staff 4 or signet) even good warrior forget that their bleed stack is high so you can sneakily return those “gift” to them and watch them wet themselves
- i find using staff against an aggressive warrior very hilarious. it has everything you need. bleed + regen, poison+chill, blast finisher+ condition transfer + fear. you will skin them alive (if they don’t run away)
U’re good to be able to solo any type warrior. For me sword shield / mace warhorn
is the most annoying warrior.
For me If the wr running with sword and shield Just get away from him. True we can remove condition or transfer it to them the problem is the cooldown and the second problem is a good player know when to dodge or the timing of using berserker stance. But most of the time… i got killed due to their regen. i mean we can put a fight, but die eventually lol.
True we have ranged weapon which people say an advantage but in any fight for me = melee because necro is slow as hell and any wr will get close to us.
I’ll give u the build of the wr…. in case u wanna try to roll to Wr Lol, but that warrior build is only useful in roaming/spvp i think..

1. U should just delete Blasting Staff trait and let the staff AOE Circle have Max Fixed size.
2. Conjure is fun and all the problem is the duration… we got a 25 charges with trait. but not all the skill in conjure weapon are useful… i don;t think ele will spam 1 with conjure weapon other than using LH or Flame Axe… the 25 charges traits are kinda useless… u should add lower cd on conjured weapon skill. (adding a 1200 ranged conjured weapon will be nice)
3. Lower Armor of Earth cd already… ele only got 2 stability skill Tornado and armor of earth….. 90 sec cd on a 6 sec stability is a bit much… or u should just delete all stability skill from the game…. i hate it. Stability’s a buff which i think broken for pvp/wvw. It’s true some jobs can remove it like mesmer/ necro but the boon removal is using pulse
Staff ele protection skills are 3 utility skills and :
Burning Retreat (1 Sec Evade)
Frozen Ground (2 Sec Chill)
Static Field (2 Sec Stun) Useless for enemy with stab
Unsteady Ground (3 Sec Warding) Useless for enemy with stab
Gust (400 Knockback) Useless for enemy with stab
Shockwave (immobile 2 sec) for wr it;s usually only 1 sec
It seemed a lot i know. the problem is. with a single stability skill and 1 dodge roll for the chill from Frozen Ground or a WR with 1200 ranged RUSH skill while using stability will reach a staff ele in a sec….
The dev should play ele roaming a bit in WVW try to run from other job. Ele got FGS which can be used for running away… the prob we have to stand still while casting it… and throwing out 1 util slot for a 900 ranged blink… which often stand still after blinking (not working while using R, i’m not really sure sometimes it works sometimes it won’t)…
Im fine with staff ele not being able to solo other jobs due to ele support ability and cc. but job balance should be reworked a lot….. the dev should search info about each job from players to do a proper class balancing.

the Lightning Swing – Static Swing – Thunderclap each take 1 charge.
Is it a bug or recent patch changed it?
The last time i used it the 3 combo No 1 Skill take 1 charge for 3 hits.
Not using lightning hammer much just used it sometimes, so i’m just curious.
it’s a sad build for a full pvt. if u want to be tanky. create a warrior… i think the purpose of ele is for the back line aoe damage and support heal in wvw.
ah i’ll give u the easy warrior build if u want
u got more hp and def than full pvt ele
u can escape faster using (gs 5,3) and (sword 2) if u’re in the need of escaping.
u get a 3 condi removal every 10 sec on every brust skill
if u really want to ignore damage. u can use a full pvt on all equip and ignore the crit damage in the warrior.
i’m not saying u can’t be tanky with ele. but the tankiest ele will lose to other due to our less hp pool and def.
That’s my opinion anyway lol.
Some lucky people got 3-5 precussor while playing for 3-4 months. i’d played a year haven’t got mine yet, so is it a bug?

These are the proposed balance changes for the Dec. 10th build. These changes are not final and are subject to change. We are posting them early so the community can discuss them with us. The only good thing i can imagine for this trait is when we roam in wvw. we met a zerg turn around and they can;t chase us because we can’t be immobile or crippled or chilled. cause usually the one who can chase ele mostly thief spamming 2 to chase us and GS warrior…
it’s only useful in pve i think when we’re not getting hit as much as in wvw. and a normal hybrid necro spamming 3 marks will hit more than 2100 to a full ascended eq soldier ele
For Necro, I think The best way to lvl are using Minion try to use this build with Sigil of Water For area heal of pets and Corruption for increased condition damage. U can solo normal karka without dodging in this build lol

The most annoying useless trait that we elementalist must have.
Arcane Power Trait
Lingering Elements (Attunement bonuses linger for 5 seconds) This trait only works with Soothing Mist and Flame Barrier. You can swap it with Renewing Stamina, because for staff ele we have to use Blasting Staff for skill radius. Staff ele need as much vigour as D/D or S/D. it not like we can spam Evasive Arcana Right Now
Air Magic Trait
Zephyr’s Speed (Move 10% faster while attuned to air) I don’t really get why the dev put this trait at all…
Fire Magic Trait
Flame Barrier (You have a 20% chance to cause burning whenever a foe attacks you in melee. Only triggers when attuned to fire). Elementalist hp pool are too low to withstand five hit from any job at closed range to give them 1 sec burning…
Earth Magic Trait
Stone Flesh (Gain 1 toughness per level while attuned to earth). So to gain 80 toughness I have to stay at earth attunement all the time?

it’s not exactly the same because i use a sentinel staff instead of soldier, and for pve i usually just use berserker weapon. and knight weapons for D/D or S/D
Sad thing about today ele :
1. If only we can cast meteor when moving, like what the dev change on healing rain
2. Healing power doesn’t effect combo. I tried it in S pvp. 1300 healing power get 1380 area heal and 300 heal power get around the same heal.
Why is party chat deleted after i leave/got kicked?
The problem is a few days ago i got tricked in fotm. I think fotm trickery sometimes happen right now. like 2-3 person real time friend or from 1 guild went to fotm with someone from other server. before they reach the last boss part they kicked the guys from the other server to change the other server guys with their guildies.
my suggestion is that can u change the party chat history setting for gw 2?
i really don’t want to add friends to all the people i’m partying with everytime i use Gw to LFG. and if i have my chat log, at least i can blacklist the person in the party. So that it doesn’t happen anymore at least…
And can u change setting for auto log out (when player afk ing) especially in wvw, change it to a shorter duration, for like 15-30 min or around?
Nerf the AC plz.The Problem is when ele cast meteor we have to stay still for 5 sec. 1 hit from 1ac is around 1300-1500ish.
If u want arrow cart to keep the damage as it is. make all job can cast when moving around ( Not even 1 skill have to be standing still when channeling). It’s better if u can make the casting keep going even when evading. ^^
