Fix the HOT crashes on WvW please… THE GAME IS crashing like 5 times every day… 1 per 1:30 hours WTF is this ? Is this some junior developer job ?

Ok we had LAG till release because your architecture DON’T scale but now it EVEN CRASHES?

I want my money back ! WTF is this kitten crashing and waiting in the WvW QUEUE all the time.. and one of the game main point was “no queues” cmon…. better go back to WOW at least ones you crash you dont wait queue, kitten .

P.S. HOT is the WORST game I played this year.. I am not kidding the story was peace of kitten and everything is completely broken.

P.S.S. The berserker skill to give you 4500 health when you take falling damage but under berserker is not working since release 8 DAYS cannot fix a simple skill what to expect for crashes (facepalm)

No way to pass the 14 step of the personal story there are some CLUES or kittenS that you have to interact with ALL the time some of them is not working started from beginning more then 10 times.. peace of * if this is nice gaming experience …

Nice fix on the personal story. Now the poison is not required however the quest is not working at all…
“Fallow the path rox left”.. step 2 the second item… there is something on the ground but I cannot interact with it…. reloging doesnt help.

Is this “fix” even “tested” ?
The expansion is full of bugs… healing was not working on one place in city of light now this, + crashes all the time. No comment guys, no comment, enjoyment playing the game -2

Update:
This is brilliant… if you hit REPLAY step 13 … and then again REPLAY step 14… it still says requires Itzel poison mastery haha this is briliant guys… 0 testing… this is so so junior student work done

Update 2 :
This is EXTREMELY brilliant… ok HIT replay on step 13… then replay back step 14.. .you will AGAIN get the poison requirement… as I said in Update 1… then go to another zone.. come back to this zone… and then the step is doable. THIS IS SERIOUS WORK GUYS

I was not complaining about invisibility !
I am complaining that they can do 15 k in less then 2 seconds. And this class is called “GUARDIAN” is it an ASSASSIN ?
I said that this 15 k are generated by 2 hits of 5k from Test of Faith + some other damage I believe from Procession of Blades.

In anyway one should make max of 2k damage and not 5k..

Naevius.3185 like 40% of the hero points are solo-able. like other 40% are doable by 2 persons… and you should have at least 1 friend right ? and yes for the other 20% you need a party or even more… but even without them you have unlocked your specializations fully so you are making them only for 100% map completion.

quaniesan.8497 the trap stays too much time so you cannot see the animation when they lay it because it is already lay off.. Thats what I was saying to make them stay less is a solution.

Also if they stay on point… I had to go on that point and try to push them otherwise we are loosing and there is no point of waving around

Ah runes of the trapper was thinking they have some new skill like a specific shot or something

Flatley.1620 and MikaHR.1978 if you enjoyed the core game you will LOVE the expansion. This is probably the best game I ever played.. not because it is challenging, but the art, the complexity of levels it is so so good. And the PLUS it is an MMO so you can find someone to help you and to play with and to show you trick here and there.

I think you both make a big mistake I would not buy the HOT if there was another option .. but wow is … meh as I said eso is so so bad … and the reason why you leave this game means to me that black desert will NOT like to any of you since it is VERY VERY challenging and NOT user friendly game..

P.S.
What I can say about the 3 out of 4 of the new zones.
Pluses
1) challenging end game
2) big events with many phases
3) very complex maps amazing I am stoping to watch some vista every 15mins.
4) amazing Mobs big and crazy which helps to spot their skills – simply amazing
5) no hearth quests.. I didn’t like the heart thing in core game… here you mostly participate in events or escorting quests.
6) keeping of 80 level but adding masteries which requires experience and hero points is awesome so your gear stays where it was still valuable but there is still progression
7) I didn’t had all hero points before entering HoT I had like .. 50 I think .. with the first 3 zones I unlocked my profession fully but slowly enjoying the slow progression and it was awesome to again become a bad kitten with small steps
8) the complexity of security levels of zone 1 is awesome also the day night cycle is awesome.
9) the satisfaction when you find a mastery or hero point after 15mins of searching cannot be explained its like wining spvp game with 501 by 499

Minus
1) few crashes on zone 2.
2) the zone 2 big meta event looks like is made too hard for randoms but maybe it is just cuz its new .. you have to kill 4 bosses at the same time by 4 groups.

Atistheso.4657 well the think is you cannot be sure about the traps because you havent seen them putting them.. so.. you may not risk to use the endure pain right away.. and if you step .. -5k .. even if you do endure pain after that it turns out the guardian have time to place another trap later but I do not have new endure pain

Flatley.1620 if you don’t own it don’t say its bad I am not trolling it is different but different in a good way. The core tyria is awesome to learn you how to play to enjoy find friends and then to play the end content with them.

Crunk n monkey.3749 no one said you don’t have power ? right ? Valkyrie armor gives power and I do all berserk trinkets and amulets + weapons I have 2200+ power I think around 2250 which is the soft cap so the damage is nice .. HOWEVER I have to say I lack precision which is true because of that I had to use the precision signet on the thief.

Anyway the point is – you have options … try them .. like 2 years ago everyone was running hybrid builds.. and not full zerker or full tank.. today is kinda the same.

Just read the Test of Faith wiki https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Test_of_Faith it says 965 damage and pass threw damage 1462.. I do not know how it takes 5000 every 0.75 sec.

Anyway I hope it is a bug

Atistheso.4657 since it is a trap I dont understand why it hits multiple times.. ok you step on it.. you ware hit .. why you ware hit again after that ? It is like Pulmonary Impact but on traps ? whaat very very strange.. I think some junior designer was involved.

Didnt knew the think about the 0.75s cd… so if they at least make it to stay open for less time so If it hits me I can go out and wait 1.5 seconds till it is off without die will be a good part.

Condition cannot tell.. no one of my friends place condition for spvp so dont know.. .only the bunker warrior but .. yeah.. he cannot kill even ranger.

Flatley ok so you want the boring content like the one in ESO or Core tyria or WOW ? well you have plenty of options.

KEEP in mind HOT is END GAME CONTENT… dont think about it as a jurney to learn your skills .. it is a END GAME content .. you cannot run with your zerker gear and do everything solo.

The content is fully doable with 5 peoples party. I mostly run with 4 peoples and everything I encounter, which is not a big champion, also all hero points in the first 3 zones, except the one in the basement of the forgotten city, are doable and I already did.

Also wait for it… I run thief.. whaat ?? THIEF ! yup not warrior or guardian or some other pve easy guy … I run as thief … not kidding I run thief and I don’t die at all…. I die only when I fall cuz I forgot to use my glider. However I play alone like 20% of the time only and usually I am searching for some Hero Point alone otherwise I invite random peoples around me .. since it is an MMO.

SO how .. someone my ask.. how ? solo content ? you dont die ?!? not possible.

Easy .. valkyrie armor + Rune of the Dolyak .. berserker trinkets and maruder staff.

Just .. play with your build forget the old meta.. forget the zerk gear…and yes learn your class.. you played 80 levels with it right ? or you used your sister ? or you ware BOTTING ? tell me .. you.. cheater I knew it otherwise you should know your skills and have no issue.

Artistheso dont have the combat log currently but I will take one tonight :+) it happens all the time if I do not pay attention or if I play with my berserker.

In short what happens is that the Test of Faith hits 2 times, not sure can it hit more ? for 5k damage.

What is happening is this Guardian is staying on a point with Test of Faith already in place. You are warrior which in 90% of cases means you dont have a bow. So you run in.. it will hit you for 5k and it may hit you for 5k again also the true shot hit me once yesterday for 8k whaaat not kidding .. but my main issue is that Test of Faith hits more then ones.. I am ok to HIT when triggered.. or to HIT with condition damage.. but instead it HITS multiple times with a direct damage.

Anyway in the other 10% you have a bow right.. or riffle so you can make some presure till someone else come (and dies) or you know just for fun .. from range.. well the Guardian bow is out damaging me always .. so there is no way to stay away and I KNOW there is a TRAP over there but since this TRAP will never go off .. as it looks I has to go .. dodge with the GS 3 as fast as I can so I get only one hit.. then WAIT for a longg time till the TRAP runs out because if I go again.. I will be hit again.. at the whole time the guardian is just staying and using his scepter or bow or whatever.

Because of that I had to change to thief and as you already said .. get the DK naked.

But this is not an option for everyone I do not believe the game should be balanced 1v1 I do not believe this is possible however to have a build which can basically kill all other 7 specs easy is not a good thing. We played as a team and it turns out only necros ware fine against such a DH .. and daredevil but with superior daredevil runes and etc.. so I am a bit more tanky then normal daredevil.

Nike thats why I said they should stay open less time.. to be able to see when they are set.

Currently it is possible to set a trap when stay on a point alone.. and when someone approaches he don’t know there is a trap (that hits multiple times for 5k each hit)

Don’t get me wrong I do play daredevil as my main and I do have 3 dodges + at least 3 more so I don’t really care I can just run off and ignore.. however all other classes are dead

for PVE they do so BIG damage that basically other classes do zero damage. They put the trap on a champion or veteran and his health is gone. At the same times I have to hit it and hit it and nothing

for PVP they hit so hard.. and hit multiple times ? what is this trap that can hit me 2 times 5k each time ? absurd… since they can also be put on points with 24 seconds cd ?

Make the traps hit only ones.
Make the traps stay open for less time.
Make the traps damage 25% less.
Make the traps cd 40-45sec.

Currently several times with 2200 Toughness and 18k health I am insta killed by DH.

We need the condition cleaner like in shadow tree..
like 60% of peoples are walking with condition damage.. and the shadow tree is the ONLY option.
No daredevil is not an option since it clears a condition on evade and not on dodge.. which means out of combat there is no way to clear conditions.

Trapper thief or ranger.. if hit me all conditions and go invisible or stop attacking me he can just stay and watch me die, burning guardian is the same.

Also if I kill someone but have a lot of conditions there is NO way to clear them so I will fall for sure.

If you want to have something else apart from shadow tree give a normal condition removal tool.

I am thinking about a way to transfer conditions or hide them somehow. We are “bandits” which means we should have a way for fast patching.

My feedback from beta weekend 3.
The dodges are now nice.. the Imapling Lotus and the dash are great the animation works ok. The last dodge however is a bit of .. meh dont like it, very hard to really hit someone with it and I guess everyone will use it just because there is nothing else if they like stealth. However I doubt that anyone with stealth ideas will take daredevil traitline.
The utility skills I like them the bandit defence I will put it to be 1.5s block or 2 instead of 1 but even like that its ok.
What I do NOT like is the staff.
The staff is so so bad compared to everything… I was playing mostly sword dagger instead of staff because of better skills and higher damage.
The staff idle animation is a joke.. is this a hammer why we dont hold it like a staff ?
The staff skill 1 is ok.
The skill 2 doesnt have evade ? Whaat it looks like it is evading but no evade ?
THe skill 3 which do have evade will roll me backwards so I am out of position … it is ok for short bow but for staff which is a melee weapon !? completely useless, only the animation is good
The skill 4 damage is now fine however I do not believe I will use it as much as I would want to.
The skill 5 I dont like the range.. and in order to hit it it is almost like hitting with warrior hammer stun
What changes I would do on the staff.
Idle animation – to hold the staff with one hand behind the back or on the side of the hero you know what I mean
SKill 1 – to stay as it is
Skill 2 – to add evade
Skill 3 and skill 4 to merge them … to do the rolling back + the blind-ness from the ground. It just make sense I want to go back and to blind him so I dont take damage I wont to retreat.
Skill 5 I will make the damage smaller but the range bigger + the animation faster.
Since I have an empty slot .. from the merge of 3 and 4 I will add a 360 degree hit. This is an extremely legendary hit from every staff movie or every staff fight with more then 1 person you can find.. a 360 spinning hit with the staff causing some condition ( I would go for bleeding).
Anyway overall very very good beta.. I am switching to thief as my main from warrior since the warrior …
P.S. Overall comment about the new traits.. I HATE THE NAMING. we have like Dead Arts, ACrobatics and etc.. like a styles and suddenly daredevil !??! wtf ? or for warrior it is even more absurd.. Strength, Discipline, Tactics.. and then Berserker ?!?! what is this ? why not Fury ? and for Daredevil it looks to me more acrobatics then the acrobatics.. I would definitely change the “traits” naming.

I am also very unhappy with the daredevil.. it looks like acrobatics but not really. I do not understand why the daredevil and acrobatics are Kinda get something on evade.. do we need 2 lines for that ?

About the staff.. the staff is a mess.. the 1 skill is ok for PVE but really really slow, the two skill doesnt make sense… dont like it for pve or pvp .. the third skill is fine but I dont see why anyone would use it over S/D 3 skill. The 4 skill is useless.. and the 5th skill is very very small range and very slow animation so everyone can dodge it (if you hit anyone in first place).

About the new physical skills the Distracting Daggers this “load” time should be removed. The whole idea of this skill is to have an interrupt skill, if you have to load it first slowly and etc.. meh no one will gonna use that.
The Impairing daggers is ok.
Bandit’s Defense is also ok.
The ellite skill is also nice and fun.

My biggest unhappines comes from the fact that.. okey the staff is not great but anyway I will not gonna use it.. the new trait line however I would use the cure condition on evade and etc are great the 50% endurance, or 10% more damage everything is great with S/D however the new dodges.. I HATE THEM …. the animations are so so SLOW the jump roll looks like a guildwars 1 like.(if we had a jump) I mean… all 3 dodges are very very bad, I guess they ware an job of a student or intern… I am even thinking that I should not choose ANYTHING because the normal roll and the normal jump roll looks sooo awesome this is the BEST dodge in the whole game.. and now ….it looks so bad, now we have 3 bad options :
1) one strangly rotating slowly starting dodge that do cripple but looks like bug and there is a small “puff” with cloud at the end.. I dont get it.
2) the HIT on dodge .. the hit part looks so weird … and for 1k damage I don’t see value in it, also the animation on the end looks so SLOW
3) the slide dodge… the swiftness is nice but this dodge is not dodge at all… and the jump roll or jump dodge .. looks so buggy am I Jesus Christ walking on the air or what ? I mean it is good to have some Chuck Noris dodge .. but please make a normal dodge.

IN anyway .. I am thinking to re-roll to reaper . The Reaper is amazing, the berskerer is fun the dragon hunter is unkillable …but the thief

Ok so I found a very weird an strange bug.
I play Vigil campaign and during that campaign I was asked to recruit an NORN or an CHAR to come and fight at my side. I play NORN and I’ve chosen the NORN with the hummer and etc. Everything was fine he was fighting at my side for some of the other quests on claw island and etc.

However yesterday a friend of mine (who is far behind in the Vigil again campaign have chosen to recruit the CHAR and here is the tricky part I was with HIM during that recruitment (helping him) now even in my story line I have the CHAR on my side in the rest of my main story line instead of the NORN
I know it is not a critical bug is very very weird
