I would like to thank the 5?6?7? 8? 10? man DDLG grp at the south sentry for not killing me when I auto ran into your team while packing my bowl. I’m looking down working on my stuff and I hear a few people yelling at me in TS. Naturally everyone else had stopped. I strolled right into the middle, and was getting attacked for a moment, then it stopped and I was left to auto run further south.

It’s blatantly clear when Yaks is engaged in a fight with SBI and Ebay comes from behind to flank SBI and doesn’t touch yaks players.

It’s clear when the BL’s are seeing yaks blobs side by side with Ebay blobs not fighting
each other yet attacking SBI.

Don’t talk smack seriously. Neither yaks or Ebay could take on SBI unless you stood together.

Fun reset!!! Thank you NSP for hosting your BL for us tonight. We lost some and won some but most were all amazingly fun fights from NSP and DB. Looking forward to this week!

I received my ascended weapon from rank 207 chest but that is about the only thing I have ever gotten out of any of the wvw xp chests that is worth anything. I hope they change to at least start giving superior seige above a certain level and up the chance of an exotic.

I’m assuming you are from ET. If you are the high WvW rank commander that leads the large ET zerg I have a question for you.

It’s clear SF has by far the highest population in this match up. Why on earth does ET takes it’s largest force and attacks the lowest population (DR) borderland? Are you afraid of anything other than PvD or situations where you don’t outnumber your opponent?

It’s interesting how every match up there is always one server that has double the other two servers population and yet every week it continues to be a 2v1 where the 1 is always the least populated server. I go into SF BL and there is no one ever attacking it other than camp/sentry flippers.

AR, FC and DRB BL we had a great time tonight with some really good fights. I didnt think that garri fight would ever end in DRB just a lil bit ago!!

Will we be able to use 2 of the same for us dagger users, pistol, and so on? I am just wondering since you cannot have 2 of the same rings, how this is going to work for the weapons?

Considering your guild’s name has never been mentioned in any team/map chat or on these forums until you had to make a self brag post you guys must be doing a kittenty job at wiping people.

The only guild that has got mentions in map/team chat over the last few weeks has been Yarr and Basic(ET guild).

So in short stop trying to talk like a kitten and focus on getting better at this game.

Excellent post! TFH reminds me of Mend from HoD. Their only way of getting recognition was to post in the thread too about how they supposedly wiped a million DR zerglings for hours. TFH being from AR just makes the whole thing laughable, because we all know how good they are at counting.

I guess I’m just really amused (I love that word) by TFH’s behaviour here. Are you guys under the assumption that I think DR doesn’t have zerglings that wipe easily? Are you guys under the assumption that I would give you mad props on the forums for wiping said zerglings? Neither is true, and even the notion that I was in that zerg is preposterous. Thanks to Opc for some balanced responses!

Diverting topic and would like everyone’s opinion.

Since we are all on the lowest tier of servers, what are your thoughts on the new League system coming out for us? Especially since apparently the first server you log into is the reward you will get no matter how many transfers you make in the 7 weeks.

Our horrible Devon Carver said he cant help how many ppl WvW on each server but we should all use this as incentive to make ppl WvW more and ask people to transfer to our servers which there is no incentive to do if your reward is based on the first server you log into. (WvW boards under server merge topic).

The issues are not usually that a server has low population, it’s that a server has a low wvw population. A top tier server that has lots of dedicated wvw guilds around the clock who primarily care about wvw don’t neccasarilly have a higher population than lower tier servers, it’s could just be that the ratio of wvw to PvE/spvp players is higher.

However, you can’t tell people what game type to play, so you will still lose each week because they don’t want to help out in wvw.

The issue is, that while you may be on these lower tier servers and still care just as much about wvw as the higher tier servers, you are essentially on the wrong server and if this system rewards the heavily stacked servers more it’s only going to promote more stacking.

You mention in this post why nothing is changing here. We can’t merge servers based on what percentage of players on a server play WvW. We make determinations about servers based on their overall population. Your best bet is to use the influx of rewards from the season to convince people on your server to start paying attention to WvW. Or convince people to transfer to your server to boost your WvW ranks.

If your reward is based on the first server you log into on day 1 of the season why on earth would anyone want to transfer to a lower WvW population server. There is no incentive for people to come to the lower tiers, you have effectively screwed the lower tiers and promoted the higher ones. This is sounding more and more like a page from SWG when they tried to change the game’s fundamentals and that did not end well for them. I thought it was gaming 101 on what not to do…. Thanks for sticking it to us again!

Wow…So our key match up trolls leave the server and we still can’t get rid of them. Just when I thought I could start reading these threads without Advil…

The large guild zergs, as mentioned earlier, overshadow the work of the small teams. I have been in every borderland and I’ve seen every guild that regularly steps off to fight. Everyone has screwed up at some point, it’s the human element. DDLG, best of luck. I’ve met a couple of you who I’ve enjoyed playing with, and the same goes for the other guilds.

Tactics differ from guild to guild and that’s all there is to it. I’ve been leading larger warbands then I’d like the last couple of nights simply because PUGs don’t get tactics, the only know kill. We need to focus on teaching people how to be patient and guard keeps as they’ve grown accustomed to BL hopping with the large zergs. Let’s focus less on this forum bs drama and get to fixing the server.

Have fun sitting on the bottom, because as long as people like you are on that server, that’s where it’s going to stay.

Lovely to hear that after we transfer. Guilds fighting over this stupid kittening drama are the reason DR is falling apart. Sure some DR members like to troll a bit to much but only people who can’t take a joke are affected by that. DDLG did what it did to help the server we openly recruited and accepted pugs into our zergs. For you to hate DDLG is completely irrational.

It’s not irrational. We do not dislike all of DDLG by any means, lots of ppl i enjoy thoroughly but some of your leaders gave you a bad name. You harassed and bullied smaller guilds. When you had an alliance with other servers and other guilds on our server didn’t agree you harassed us, stuck your guys at the entrance of your alliance server bg and yelled at everyone who ported in, and grouped up with the enemy to tell them where we were attacking. When confronted you (ddlg) said hey well just turn it around and make it look like it was you who did it. Most of us have a valid reason for not liking your front runners. This is just one example and I and others have many more. I feel bad for the guys that ran that tag and didn’t have a clue of what was going on behind the scenes. I look forward to working with the ones who didn’t transfer.

Good luck on your new server. I truly hope the same fate that happened to other big guilds that have left doesn’t happen to you.

While you and yours walk around playing victim and trying to blame everyone but yourself and talking kitten on those who are no longer around to defend themselves, I am simply trying to tell them to grow up and move on. If you actually have a problem with some one, have the balls to say it to them directly, not on a forum thread they won’t read anymore, or a map chat they can’t see anymore. But why do I even bother explaining myself, you are the one who once talked kitten about an entire 300 person PvX guild on a matchup thread for something that 1 member said to you in teamspeak.

Come on Aly you know that some guilds egos got to big for their own good. They harassed and bullied the smaller guilds on the server to join up with them or else. Many of the smaller guilds who didn’t agree with that often went to their own map to stay away from it. For you to say that we don’t have the balls to tell someone what we think to a person you are wrong and you know it. If you like I will post the ss.

For the guilds leaving because they are no longer having fun I hope they find it on a new server because in fact it is just a game. If your not having fun then you have to try something new to do with the game or find a new game.

It is a blanket statement towards anyone who has done these things, either in these forums on in game itself. I still have friends on DR and I still have an alt account there that I go on from time to time, and in the last week map chat in WvW has been filled with ridicule and hatred towards all the guilds that left. In fact a few people I know that were initially staying on DR are now looking to transfer due to this attitude that many people, not just those who frequent the forums, have shown in game. This forum is not a place where I am going to name names or get into an argument over he said/she said. The people who have done this know who they are, and if they really do care about the server and rebuilding they will have to stop before they alienate even more of those who want to stay.

QFT but I look more on the circle as a downward spiral slowly killing wvw.

For the roamers there really is a limit on how many you can take on on a regular basis and come out on top. The way the game works (downed state, being able to rezz stomped players, ae limit, defensive siege) it really promotes numbers as the easiest and most comfortable solution to any wvw situation. I was hoping this game would evolve into more and more people looking for the small-man action but during this year it has moved to quite the opposite. My feeling is that small roaming groups is alot fewer and far between than a couple of months ago. Eventually and rather sooner than later there won’t be any, just solo duel-specd roamers and the zergs.

Now the biggest problem for the future of wvw isn’t that the zergs will destroy small-man roaming but eventually they will destroy this whole part (wvw) of the game. When the solution to any wvw problem is numbers, it will lead to bigger and bigger zergs and the servers with less people and coverage will slowly stop wvw:ing. Since server pride went out the window months ago (with free transfers) there’s nothing ( I dont see the minimal fee you have to pay for transferring as a hindrance) that will stop people moving to the greener and only grass. Then you’ll have a couple of powerhouse servers dishing it out with humongous zergs, queues to wvw etc and all that to gain nothing, since you don’t gain anything winning a match-up. A year from now wvw in zerg wars will be dead.

That’s my wvw judgement day sermon and I’m very bored at work.

TLDR; WvW will be dead in a year.
