Not fighting the other side and ignoring each other —- fine. Actively seeking out and planning assaults, defense and offense via group and/or ts with another server by the commanders is cheating. Our server did a wonderful job this week, I am very saddened that it was spoiled by today’s events.
Cheating is never right. Many of us smaller guilds on the server would rather take second then cheat to get first and that is all that was accomplished here today.
For those of you who might know me i like to have some fun in tkitten JP. chase some people down till they decide to duel when im bored. cause a little havoc here and there with some guildies. but when someone finally challenges tto a duel i always accept. now these guys are a bunch of [insert expletive] and im calling you out. i tried partying with you to ask for a duel but got nothing. {JEDI], [GDUA]
There’s some of us in GDUA that like to duel, we even host an inner tournament in the guild, but well you just happened to have found our mindless killers :o
Liking this matchup, fun fights everywhere. Hope to see more coming and I’m really glad that we’re not getting a spam of AC’s on every camp/tower/keep

BP bl was a blast all night tonight. Thanks to all the BP, HOD, and DR guilds that showed up for just a little bit of fun. :o) Sorry bout that NN camp but ya kept us out of bay hehe Kalkz we still had a blast :p
[VP] had an enjoyable evening in HoD BL yesterday. We didn’t have many on, 7-8 of us and we were just out to see if we could pick some fights that didn’t involve a 30 man BP group for a change. SoCo were out causing trouble for HoD too and are always a welcome sight for us.
Tend to find less zergy stuff in the morning/early afternoon est time in HOD/BP that we love to play in, especially since we are usually not running more than a couple of us that early in the day You guys know how I feel bout you VP guys! <3 Always love ya on the same map :p
I finished both the dragon ball events (20 games played and 20 games won) but it is not counting toward the Dragon Bash Experience total. Anyone else experiencing this?

Firework show runs for 5 minutes, if you stay for the entire 5 minutes during the weekend you get a box.
GARD ty for the fun in se supply camp in BP. We tried to get another round going without the guards with ya but I think we both had some extra ppl showing up. Looking forward to fighting ya guys some more this week!
I find it sad that you decided to fight Neeho’s battle for him, and also write an inappropriate wall of text regarding SoCo vs DR, something that doesn’t belong in this thread, hence my response to Neeho’s original post being so negative. Learn the place and time to say things, a matchup thread with two servers that have nothing to do with DR is not the place to complain about internal relations on DR.

As far as I am concerned, [SoCo] is the best guild out there, period. It’s not because we never lose fights; we /release more than you guys do fighting the same guilds. It’s not because of our notoriety; I’m sure there are plenty of enemy guilds who aren’t familiar with the tag (probably more that don;t than do). It’s not because we blindly support the guilds on the server; just ask the DR Alliance.
We are the best guild out there because these are the people I play with daily. They know my kids names, I know their kids names, girlfriends, wives, birthdays, been across the country to visit with people I have only known from pictures and teamspeak. With the exception of an intolerance for cheating, I could give a good godkitten what others think about me or my guild. Our actions on the field (and in chat) are where our reputation is made. Like us or not, it does not matter to me. Why would I let someone else’s opinion of my friends and I add stress to a GAME? It’s supposed to be fun. Enjoy it with your friends.
Perhaps you’re putting too much stock in what others think of you and your group. It’s an added stress that just isn’t needed. I’ve watched most of your guys videos, fought alongside you (you probably rezzed me many times), and seen enemies pause when they see your tags pop up. Does it matter if they say you had more when you didn’t, or when you wipe 30 with a group of 10 and they have nothing but excuses?
If you didn’t have a video, you wouldn’t remember a month from now which guild said you had more numbers, which you beat 7v15, or which had the most excuses, but you will remember having a good time with your friends. And if that is why we are here, why does any of the other kitten matter?
We fell from t4 to t6; we faceplanted to t7 when a few of the larger guilds decided to quit for a week to throw the game. I don’t think HoD has the quitters that we have. All their quitters were nice enough to leave the server; ours are still here.
Cause SoCo has done so much to help the server in the last 6 months. Every attempt to work with SoCo in order to get the server more coordinated has been met with constant complaining and disinterest. And then you come on the forums and bring up events that happened months ago, that weren’t even true when you argued about it then, for what purpose? So you can try and alienated yourself even further from the core of DR? I have no idea what your guild stands for and why it is even still on this server after months and months of negativity on the part of DR and those who have worked to make it better.
Well hello there. I have been a part of all those meetings back in the day when you guys were trying to get something going and we helped. We promoted the server’s ts server and the server’s website page. We helped and helped and helped. We always came running when someone needed help whether it was with the big server alliance or one of the smaller ones. We always made our opinions clear but we always worked for the better of the server even if we disagreed. We were always on board with wherever you wanted to send us on reset night. Finally after all the kitten stroking in those meetings and SoCos leaders, myself included, being called a kitten because we stood by what we believed in, (i.e., not throwing matches and not leaving the server, promoting upgrading and superior seige, defense and server unity like in daoc, and promoting numbers doesn’t necessarily mean winning) we decided to leave the big alliance and joined a smaller one with smaller guilds. We also stated we would help anyone who needs it which we have done but with smaller numbers in the last 6 weeks.
A lot of us have come back to the game and continue to love DR but we are still a small guild who now play to have fun and we enjoy the game again. We will never believe in throwing a match, sorry if that doesn’t suit you. We will continue to be outspoken and say what we feel because this is our server too and we have been here since Day #2.
You are right there are people who do not like us because we speak out against crap when it is wrong but there are also people who like us for the same reason. We are not trying to win a popularity contest, we are here to have fun with our friends and help the server as much as possible. We do not all have to be in one alliance to accomplish this. We will stick with our smaller alliance who have similar playstyles to us and continue to play with everyone. You are more than welcome to accept that or don’t but either way you are not going to try to bully us into your alliance like you have witih so many others. We dont need any kitten stroking. I find it astonishing and a little sad that you think our small guild has such an impact on your game play.

FC you have a good number of players. You just need coordination and I think you would be a very good match for us.

I think the same is true about some IOJ groups too. All and all we have had some great fights against both FC and IOJ. I couldnt agree more with your last sentence! See ya out there :o)
Why bother when we have all seen the exact same match up threads 100 times before, with a different third server?
DR will say IoJ is bad.
IoJ will claim that DR says that about every server they face.
Repeat ad infinitum. The part I love the most is that it’s the same 10-15 guys posting in every thread as if their opinion hasn’t already been made abundantly clear.
Whilst I generally disagreed with the majority of your posts last match-up; that’s exactly on point, and something I’ve tried to express on multiple occasions throughout this thread.

Thank you to all the IOJ/FC who have been running in the mornings the last 2 days. We have had a ton of fun. The morning is a nice change of pace before all the craziness starts with tons of ppl and we are enjoying it :O)
Well just wanted to say bye to dh and ioj, we had some fun fights this tier I am sorry that the larger guilds on DR just gave up and quit and actively told all others in map chat to not fight. That would never be SoCo’s way but we are only a few in the ocean and will continue to fight and be vocal about it! :P Hope to fight you all again and will see ya around til reset :P
So much fun in SBI today during the day. We had some great fights!! We were trying to farm ya some in the SE tower SBI but unfortunately some of realmmates really wanted the tower and closed the doors on ya We did have some great open fields including the ones we lost!! SoCo had a blast!
My guild and I are still in awe at the people are complaining about having more free content and now people are complaining about more drops on rare loot. I mean seriously wth.
Warmed my heart to see so many SoCo out!! It has been ~2 months or so since we’ve had those numbers, some new members plus lots of old friends that we hadn’t seen in a long while just showed up the same night, it was great!
Those fights between the camp and South Bay last night were a blast; throw in some ninja attempts on the SW tower by you guys, and it made for a great night all around.

That being said, just played some of the best WvW against DR for the past hour or so (SBI native here, since headstart). When I left we got the outmanned buff on our own borderlands.
Props to DR for their multi-pronged assault – it was great fun defending.
