I have had this happen a TON. Probably about 8-10 times if I had to guess. Yeah, it’s REALLY annoying when it happens. Although fairly limited, I’ve seen a couple ways to get out of it without re-logging that I’ve found.

1. “Usually” teleport or leap skills will get you out of it successfully.
2. Mobs that fear will break you out of it.

Thanks for the info, I’ll definitely keep that in mind!

Last question I forgot to ask.

3. How long does the duration of the boons last?

Based on the notes from the 15th…

“Rune of the Pack’s on-hit effect now works properly.”

I also noticed the tooltip ingame mentions that it has a chance to grant might, fury and swiftness when struck.

1. Does this only proc when being attacked, and the tooltips were fixed to reflect so? Or does this proc on on your own attacks? Thanks for any clarification.

2. I assume that it proc’s all 3 boons every time on proc, and it’s not one of the 3 at random?

Just figuring this out before I decide what runes to buy. Thanks!

Question regarding Missile Deflection trait

in Warrior

I’ve heard that this trait works with weapon skills such as Riposte (offhand sword #5) and Counter Blow (main hand mace #2).

Against ranged attacks, does it reflect only one attack, and then use up the skill (therefore gaining adrenaline), or does it reflect for the duration of the block until a melee attack strikes?

Thanks!

not really possible to even keep up two crafting skills

It’s definitely doable. It’s not meant to be ridiculously easy though either. My main is currently level 56 and I have both Weaponsmith and Armorsmith past the 225 mark, somewhere around 230-235. In all I’ve spent about 15 silver on a few blood mats on the trading post, I’m currently sitting at about 12 gold.

Did I have to go out and specifically farm for some Fine crafting materials? Sure did.

My recommendation – go out and find a spot to farm. If you’re after Vials of Blood, I usually find a high density area of skale mobs to kill. Farm for about 30 minutes or so. If you find your drop rate decrease significantly, take a break. Do something else, farm in a different place, hop on an alt, etc. Then go back and do it again later.

Combat effects seem muted at times

Sometimes when I’m fighting enemies, it seems like my swings and strikes are more than half-muted, VERY silent. Then a few seconds later, it’s back to full sound again.

Anyone else experience this? Not sure if it’s a bug, or maybe something in the settings that I’m supposed to adjust? Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

Weapon Skills (An Idea for Expansion & Depth)

in Suggestions

I hear a bunch of people complain about how there aren’t enough skills and abilities to keep you entertained throughout the game. Mainly referring to the 2/3 to 5 weapon skills that you get on your weapon and you’re set. You can have all those unlocked by level 5, give or take.

What if at a later level, you could expand on each of those weapon skills for each weapon and swap each of the different skills out for 1-3 other weapon skills in it’s place? I’ll try to explain.

Example – Guardian Sword Skill 2 (Flashing Blade) teleports to a target within 600 range and blinds nearby foes for 3 seconds.
At a later level, you could get access to additional skills for EACH slot. They could swap Flashing Blade for Burning Blade or Protective Blade. They could also swap out Skill 3 Zealot’s Defense with Knight’s Armor or Justice Strike (I’m totally making up names here, but hopefully you get the idea).
Basically, you can swap them in and out, just like Utility Slots. The only difference being that each skill has it’s own abilities (weapon skill 2 would have it’s own separate skills from weapon skill 3, that way to help keep it balanced, etc)

Again, this is just a suggestion and a thought that I had and didn’t see it mentioned anywhere when I did a search or two. I wouldn’t expect something like this anytime soon, but something as maybe a possibility to consider in future content updates. Feel free to post your own thoughts.

Thank you!

Jumping in as well to say a quick “Thank You”. This game is fantastic. My wife and I love it and we’re enjoying every minute of playing and exploring the massive world together with everything it has to offer.
