I think there is some truth to Boss’ statement but it isn’t necessarily nice.

Thing is CD has been double teamed (generally) during NA prime time. We have the lowest population during that time, so we just try to hang on. The consequent talking how we are “bad” is not really called for.

Like last night, EB committed most of their players to hold CD keep. They had (I gave it a rough count) 25+ people defending it. We had about 25 attacking. It made no sense to me that EB would focus CD so hard instead of defending against YB, but it didn’t matter, we ended the night with us higher on PPT scale.

Do we have the right to exact some revenge? Of course. And I’m glad for that. Does it mean it’s malicious trash talk, not necessarily. Same can be said of ANY server that trash talks.

Last night, before the action in eternal bg, we had to fend off a zerg of yaks attacking our borderlands. Our side in eternal was all green that time too. After we wiped the zerg attacking home, we went to eternal to get back our side and then we saw that yaks are attacking your keep.While we were in the process of taking our side back, I sent scouts to scout you two’s battle to keep me updated on the situation.My scouts saw that your keep was severely damaged with outer wall down and inner gate and wall at 50 so we took advantage of it. We attacked yaks from behind, wiped them then started sieging it. I just can’t believe that yaks didn’t stop trebbing that wall from bravost while we were there in the middle of both your servers catapulting that same wall. Well, thanks to that yak treb driver last night, it made that wall go down faster. I was saying this the whole time, “Please don’t stop trebbing yaks please don’t stop trebbing”.It’s just really a coincidence that your keep was already damaged when we went to eternal so we took it and held it for the next 2 hours against both yaks and cd. Also, we had a small team defending our side of eternal bg while all this was going on…so we were actually defending too.

It would have been a different story if you were attacking SM…

so yeah, we’re not JUST targeting you to double team your server. We just take advantage of the situation laid on us when we press m to view the map.

If you were looking at all the maps last night during all the action at CD keep, we had a team take the yaks garrison..I think GH did that and later that night take their bay… maybe hills too?I forgot….which I think was done by PK. So yeah we attack both of you

PK actually took bay/hills / garrison. It was magnificant.

Gotta love it when people get hurt about seeing one loss so they feel to need to compensate for themselves by saying they farmed us at some completely different time.

Is that what you call a defeat? You do realize you died just as much as we did, right? In the end we took out your numbers and seige over and over and it was Maguuma that had the camp AND tower. EBay took the camp for what, 10 minutes? before it was flipped back again to us. Before and after that, we were wiping people trying to pour into the camp and treb. I got two levels and and entire inventory. In fact, you can even see someone’s Black Merchant in the pic I posted, which pretty much shows the amount of our rewards. So thanks for that, I guess.

If you’re gonna try and be proud of something, at least be proud of an actual accomplishment. Unless you’re trolling of course, then keep on keepin’ on.

I didn’t die once, and last I checked we held it for more than 10 minutes. But that’s okay, if you want to dwell on it be my guest.

Held eternal Saturday like a boss.

We had 1 random in ts that didn’t talk or anything, just kick him and move on.

Good reset I guess, you guys outnumber us like crazy.

I lead pk (a big guild on ebay)
And whereas we would like to beat Maguuma because they have a lot of old guilds (or they consider themselves enemies lol)
Realistically we will end up in third place.

That being said, if you are going to troll and make this a flame thread, it really won’t mean much because we are just in it to play the game and have fun.

Guilds wars 2 needs guild wars, enough said.

pk is a WvW focused guild in the server of Ehmry bay with a website/vent/etc,etc… I won’t go into much detail but we are a big guild with many things to do inside, and are ever expanding. Oh a sense of humor is required to join. Mail me here.

I was under the impression that Guilds would be the center of this game, and they are not. There are no official “guild wars” and I think that would provide an engaging system that would keep participants in the game interested.
Also I miss guild halls and capes :<

These are all very urgent and we must as a community step forward to petition and do anything we can to obtain the admins attention. The reason being is because the name of this game is GUILD WARS and there isn’t much to do once inside a guild. I bought this game because I love guild / clan communities and this game so far isn’t providing very strong ones.

Also many a more vast list of icons for guild emblem.

So, in GW1 I noticed a large and more active community inside every guild, and in GW2 this has largely diminished. I will present what I believe to be the problems inside guilds, and then possible solutions.

I currently lead a quite large guild on Ehmry bay and I love my guild, the problem is that we are getting bored. We have truly done just about everything in the game, and we advertise as a WvW guild. From what I noticed, we have a very active core but we also have many people not representing.

I believe we are getting sick and tired of the guild system because it doesn’t push people to stay in their guilds and stay active in them. Guilds don’t offer enough rewards for this. There is also no reason to stay in the guild in WvW when we have server TS, other than the buffs we can offer. Even these though, someone not in guild can reap the benefits.

Possible solutions?

1. GUILD WARS!!! There should be a system in which guilds from separate servers can wage war on each other and kills generate points for your server. Or maybe a pvp system in which you engage another guild in smaller versions of the WvW borderlands maps.

2. Guild alliances. Formal alliances like in guild wars 1. The reason behind this is so that WvW guild can pair with PvE guilds, or PvP guilds, in whatever order, for the obvious reasons. Maybe give extra benefits to these alliances.

3. Guild halls with dungeons or something. Make it interesting, make it to where you can play music in your guild hall, buy merchants, whatever! The GW1 halls were decent but they could have been expanded upon.
