My mesmer: Vheeda because my real name is the same pronounciation and I just asurafied it.
My ranger: Corggi because CORGIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The boss itself spawns more spiders. If you see him raise his left leg (right on your party’s viewpoint) he is about to do his AoE (no red circles to indicate this). Make sure you double dodge this backwards as it has a pretty wide range. I think more spider spawn if you don’t dodge this AoE attack, but not very sure on this. They stop spawning after awhile though.
I also think the tool tip for the Guardian’s scepter autoattack has an error on it because it sure doesn’t feel like 1200 range. I’ve tried attacking from the same distance as a staff ele and a staff necro (both 1200 range on auto attack and both were on the roots on the left side) and it kept saying out of range.

Looks like it’s not just me, happened on my Macbook Pro just now. For me it crashes sometimes in character selection screen, and if I’m lucky enough to get beyond that it crashes when the loading screen appears.
It’s also about knowing what traits and builds are useful in dungeons. In the example Maestro gave, the ele’s could’ve also traited for Powerful Aura (Water GM trait) so that the staff Earth 3 move Magnetic Aura gives everybody within 400 range (same as Swirling Winds) reflects. It can also be traited it so that it gives fury and swiftness on everybody that gets the aura, and/or as a bonus, protection for the ele. Granted, it requires a specific build in order for it to work, but I feel that it’s a good compromise between using a weapon you are more familiar with and using another weapon for just one skill for one specific battle. I know this doesn’t apply to all classes and weapons and sometimes you pretty much have to switch weapons, but if there’s an option, use it!
I’m not saying it’s bad to switch weapons once in awhile in dungeons to adapt to certain situations (I do myself) it’s just that sometimes it’s not worth sacrificing a whole lot of other useful skills just to be able to use 1 skill when there are work arounds available.

My mesmer with the T3 head and chest, CoE leggings, and HotW feet. I really like the graphicy style of the asura cultural armor. The headpiece is my favorite piece out of all the armors in this game, and I actually don’t mind that it makes my asura bald because my asura is bald in the first place. And the ears! Love the ears.
I’d like to add that if you have a mesmer in your group for the turret golem, tell them to use either 1h sword (auto attack) or phantasmal disenchanter (or even both) for constant boon stripping. Makes it so you don’t have to kill the turrets at all and everybody can just dps the golem and make the fight very short.

Been some time since I updated! I apologize for replying so late (and thanks for the feedback!)- I use Photoshop CS5 for most of what I do and if you’d like to see more, here is my tumblr-
As for commissions I’m open to taking them, though I’m not sure how to approach it as I haven’t done it before.
Did another painting for my two sylvaris Finval and Rytona, hope you guys like it!
Add me as well please!
Hi there! I’ve been a big fan of the art style of GW2 ever since it came out. Playing the game has been an inspiration in of itself so there was always this nagging feeling in the back of my head to do some fanart. Finally got off my butt and did one and the first one up is my Asura mesmer, Vheeda. Hope you guys like it!
