Hello rangers, i’m looking for suggestions about the best weapons skins for my classic no shinies ranger: actually i’m using eir longbow, norn greatsword and axe, komali dagger, fiery dragon sword and howler (i know they’re shiny but i miss the good old Prince rurik and the howler is just so cool for a ranger to not have it)

It makes sense, and to avoid confusion, rename the beastmaster trait line " empathy" or something.

Hello this is the BM bunker for sPvP and tPvP i’m using and i’d like to know if it’s ok or i need to change something (i know spirit build is more effective but i don’t like it ).

Hello, when i pick vigorous spirit trait, tooltip for all spirits, except the water one, doesn’t update.

actually i think that going zerk 20/25/0/25/0 or 20/20/0/30/0 with spotter, frost spirit and water spirit will be a great dps/support build for pve content (dungeon, fotm)

Actually i would suggest you to use sword/wh as main set and sb as backup, sb outdamages lb if you can flank and is suggested anyway since you’ll be in range of party buffs, and sword gas the highest dps and is not difficult to use once you get used to it.

I used the word “shaman” only as a cool adjective, not for describing the gear, anyway the healing power is used to boost the healing coming from the upcoming water spirit, maybe i could swap search and rescue and nature’s vengeance for guard and nature’s voice, so healing power will affect the spirit, the shout regen, and the healing from sigils.

Here’s is the build i’ve theorycrafted with the upcoming changes and the new healing skill (water spirit, i couldn’t put it on the editor since it’s not updated yet) in mind: this build is totally focused on providing a great amount of healing and buffs to the party. Nice build but i’d suggest you to go for the full zerk/spotter/frost spirit/sword build unless you get an instability against direct damage, since cond damage is not so viable due to cap and poor scaling.

Well I play on Ring Of Fire and zerg fights don’t last that much, I was talking from my pov Anyway I agree on the lack of condition removal, maybe add in HS.

And how do you plan to survive in the melee wvw front line while your build has no any skill that break stun?

Have you guys ever stopped running and start fighting? When I started I just followed a zerg and that was easy and they just run through it all.

Next time when I was gonna help my friend to the top there where no zerg just a few players dieing. After a few tries running I stopped and told my friend to kill everything on the way up and darn it all how easy it all when until a player ran past us with a huge mob after him and we all whiped thanks to this one dude rushing through.

People should start to actually play the content than just just rush through to the good bits.

Not only it’s okay loot in there but while you fight your way in there more and more people will join up and help to fight your way up. We started as two players on level 3 and at the top we where seven who fought our way up, no rush and we had fun and got loots of loot to pay for our previous losses.

Edit: FVI I played Engineer and my friend Elementalist, in other words No heavy.

Omg stop crying seriously, tris IS an open world multiplayer content, if you don’t want to go in with pvt gear, get a couple of friends and kill everything; it will be slower than a rush but you’ll get loots and you won’t die, plus you’ll need to reach the top only 2 times to get all the achis.

Target: general PvE, dungeons and fractals

Weapons (Berzerker): sword is mandatory for its high damage and evade skills, just need a little practice to master it; warhorn for party buff and blast finisher; dagger for the extra evade. With my signets choice i want to reach high prec while boosting damage.

Armor and trinkets (Berzerker): for runes i use scholar, the best choice to boost our dps.

Pets: Jungle Stalker and Jaguar for obvious reasons, top dps pets.

Traits: all traits are focused on empowering pets and to buff party members, i’d like to have fortifying boons too but i don’t know how to really take it, it’s up to you. (A note on mighty swap: i like it over commanding voice because with the upcoming changes the ranger will take 3x might as well).

Heal-Utilities-Elite: Healing Spring, simply our best heal; Quickening Zephyr, Frost Spirit, Sick’em, QZ for quickness (you don’t say) and stun break, FS huge party buff damage (something like 7% overall), Sick’em to make your beast…a beast; RaO = godmode. (Notes: in fract, if my party don’t have a lot of protection, i swap sick’em for stone spirit).

Usage: pretty simple but funny and efficient, you want to keep endurance bar full to get steady focus buff and you want to evade as much as possible using your weapon’s skills to keep scholar runes buff, also you want to swap pet like a crazy drunken horse to get that awesome quickness buff and to give vigor to your party. Place frost spirit in safe places and remember that your pet must stay alive, no matter what or you’ll lose tons of damage (and please don’t write posts like “omg pet sucks, he’ll always die no matter what ç_ç” because my pet is 95% of the time alive; 5% dead because i’m playing with one hand while smoking).

Hello, i’d like to express my disappointment when, after the last patch with world bosses buff, that “safe spot” on shatterer’s right side has not been fixed. He’s one of the coolest dragon and makes me sad to see people afk-autoattack him. Please Anet fix it.

Issue: The tier 3 cultural shoulders hide parts of the quiver and i don’t like it, i’ve spent a lot of money on them :S
