Decided to come back and try again, and had the same bug. I was stuck in combat at the end of a fight, and the mission would not progress. No dialogue when I got out of combat. Braham and Canach followed me when I moved away, but Taimi did not.

In the Buried Insight story mission, Taimi stops moving after a fight with Chak which is triggered by turning on the ley-collectors. This has happened to me three times in a row, each time at a different ley-collector. Two of the times, I have noticed that I was stuck in combat mode after all the Chak were killed. After moving away and getting out of combat mode, I returned, and was still stuck. This may have happened the first time as well, but I didn’t notice it.

Changes to Leveling

So today’s blog post informed us that we will no longer gain attribute points with each level, gaining them in chunks at unnamed intervals instead. We also learned that the personal story will now be unlocked in chapters instead of having a new mission available every few levels. The last feature patch removed the trait point gained (along with the appropriate attribute points) with each level after 10. We are gaining a shiny new level-up notification with a reward screen which is supposed to make gaining a level feel “truly rewarding”. Under the explanation for the attribute point change we are told “When you gain a level, you’ll know you’re progressing in a way that immediately benefits your character.”
So we have all the old rewards gained per level moved to come in chunks at specific levels, and get some unspecified reward instead. While this may result in more loot over the entire leveling period, I am confused as to how I am supposed to feel like my leveling experience will be more rewarding than it was when I became at least somewhat more powerful with each level gained.
What was wrong with the old systems, and how is the new system supposed to be better?
