Reading the forum often find myself reading discontents and frustrations of similar kind and some more sensible players usually do not only complain, but also bring out good points about how to rectify them.
However, forum posts could hardly represent what MOST players really think and Anet may consider implementing a polling system in game. Like the BLTC windows, Guild windows and etc, Anet might add a poll system and allow players to pick their stance on controversial topics. For example, what bug should we prioritize our effort? or what do u want to see in the BLTC for gems? etc.
To manage this, I don’t think players should be able to add polls to it (to avoid flooding), instead, admin would add a few topic every week, or fortnight so as to collect more players opinion on various issues.

Sorry maybe a little off topic, but does the stat of the 2 sigils on the 2 1-handed weapons stack up?
I read on wiki that those charging sigil won’t stack, but how about, for example, sigil of accuracy, will the critical chance stack up?

Oops my bad then. i thought hate relying on pet is different from hate pet.
Cause short-bow ranger immediately came to my mind when the OP said he wanted high attack speed.
Ranged Professions I tried and my thoughts:
Staff Ele: Kiting, kiting and kiting. Staff ele has good range with lots of combo fields but I couldn’t feel that I am doing good damage.
Rifle Worrior: Better survivability.
Staff Mesmer: Fun experience for me but the randomness of condition applied might be unreliable at clutch times.
Ranger: As it name tells, long bow could go up to 1500 range with trait while short bow shoots really fast and I love both.

Imo rangers don’t RELY on their pet. In my experience, pet helps tanking enemies pretty effectively while I shoot happily. After all, pets die pretty easily and often you gotta face enemy by yourself.
I prefer dps in the sense of (High Atk.SPD/Medium DMG/Medium-Low Crit) compared to (Low Atk.SPD/High DMG/Medium-High Crit)
I would say short-bow ranger (Still with 1200 range). It’s absolutely a machine gun with every round causes bleeding. I love it.

Come on, I am not asking for dye to be shared among characters.
But I am wondering if it was my mistake that I got the idea of Anet’s staff said dye would be shared among characters.
As far as I can remember, Anet posted in somewhere (likely a forum) that I forgot and didn’t take screenshot, that dye would be able to be used across in characters in the same account.

Dyes are NOT account-bound, and are traded quite often on the Trading Post.
That’s not what the OP is talking about…I assume.
Once used a dye is bound to a character.

So is it my memory mistake that some Anet staff said the dye could be shared among my characters after the BWEs. (Consumed dye to be usable by all characters)
I felt disappointed to find out at launch that dye are still soul-bound.
Or just my mistake of getting the wrong message / wrong memory.

Idea: allow players to open a bot reporting window. If 8 players report then the offender is prompted with a CAPTCHA entry. If they fail to enter correctly in 10 minutes they are logged off and require another CAPTCHA entry to logon. A ticket is then submitted for GM review.
Nice idea and I think this should go to the suggestion sub-forum for further development

I guess it’s the bug about representing your guild
It happens sometimes that you just can’t represent a guild and it happened to me for a few times.
Maybe just wait for a few hours or a day and it usually get solved.

AC explorer 2nd route is the easiest for me.
My team spent around 2 hours to clear the first route, being most of the time spent in that 6 burrows. The second route is the easiest one and it was like “What? cleared?”. The third route is also a nightmare. We spent more than 2 hours in that burrowsssssss stage alone.
But I think the difficulty is fine, we had a lot of discussion about tactics. This is fun for me.
What is not fun is the reward. 30 tears + crappy equipment. Also, I really got nothing for clearing all routes of the AC, except for the 110k exp on my last route. Come on, I don’t play AC for leveling.

I am also having similar issue.
The game client keeps on shutting itself down with the “out-of-memory” error for around once every hour.
Yesterday, however, my client didn’t crash for even once, instead, I experienced intermittent FPS drop (in fact it’s a complete frozen screen). It happens extremely frequent. When I was in my personal story instance, my screen freezes for like 5 seconds every 20 seconds. But surprisingly, the issue disappeared as soon as I finished that personal story.
After that, I restarted my computer seeking to have a better performance.
Later, I entered Catatomb extremely laggy but this time, the freezing issue only lasted for around 1 minutes and the rest of the dungeon, my FPS was at normal level.
I am running on Win7-32bit, AMD Phenom II x4 925 [around 3-year-old], GTX560SE@306.02driver [2-month-old] and 4GB RAM [half-month-old]. My graphic setting was using the “auto-detect” preset. Also, my graphic card was below 60’C all the time.
I don’t believe it’s network problem as my brother was playing the game pretty smoothly without laggy issue but only occasional crashes.

I was really frustrated when the “New build available, restart in X minutes” stopped me from getting the achievement.
As a suggestion, get this achievement by crafting! Also, as crafting gives you exp as a % at your level, so, crafting on your highest level character boost this the most!

Which is so realistic, eh? Anyway, I suspect that’s a bug / exploit that Arena Net will eventually fix, and it doesn’t work if you’re in combat.
Imo, falling to death is absolutely acceptable
I never said anything about becoming invulnerable. And I rarely die from falling; it just annoys me that there’s no way to actively reduce the damage (ex., lose 25% of my HP, instead of 50%), when the game already has the “logical” mechanism for that (dodge rolling).
Ok maybe that’s a bug and hope that I won’t get banned.
What I mean is, imo, I can’t see the necessity to implement the suggestion besides to “lower the game difficulty”.
Instead, or in addition, I would say remove the invisible wall that protect mobs from falling off even a little cliff so that I am not the only one who get hurt from falling.

Perhaps it’s similar in nature, but I think they should also introduce the training function in PvP.
That is, there are times when I would like to play against my friends, however, under the current matching system, people will just got put into our room when we started playing. So what I want is a private PvP room where we can play against each other in a controlled environment.

I do think the camera need some more fine-tuning.
In situations where you stand in front of a building, a big rock or a building, you camera just broke.
First-person may be a good option but I am also suggesting making these objects translucent in the above-mentioned situation.
Besides, I found myself holding the right-mouse-button all day. Please also allow an auto-function or a toggle for that, PLEASE.
