lol, back in the day I thought it might help to have everything unlocked to get neat stuff so I have every class an every race (3 charr) all with full story completed an 100% map an one toon for all jump puzzles. After all that I made it though a few of the weekly story things then found them to be a waste of time week event done in 1 hour XD.

I haven’t done an event in months now, there boring an not worth it my time, its better spent farming dungeons cause gems are expensive to gold farm so the few hours I give this game goes to that.

all things aside silly things should be for town cloths ….. killing things should be for killing things death by unicorn or death by disco fever is just bad IMO should have left that silliness at the kiddy pool along with the oddly yellow water

more town cloths or silly back packs doesn’t a game make more stuff to do in the world of Tyria a game dose make

You mean just like said “fail” games have supported the development of GW2 for about 5 years?

Anet isn’t getting NCSofts money now an what I mean by that is a great game is getting butcherd to support older less popular games sure Anet got help by NCsoft to get started but at what point can it stop paying back an start getting the money it needs to be great ? after people have gotten tired of the living story or lack of impacting content ?

All sales in a real world Auction businesses take money up front and/or after the sale in many cases an many auction businesses don’t hold the item tell sold they hold it for that sale period, To help deter people just buying a reposting things after raising the price 50%-100% something like reposting item that you just got off the trading post should charge the full sale’/posting tax up front with out the charge after the sale so that people that buy an item will not get there money back if they raise the price so high that people will not buy to repost. (OR) have the sales of exotic to legendary items be on a one week turn around with a vary vary small posting fee each time like .5% every time you wish to post a item of a certain rarity for a day week month (aka the WoW mechanic)

Transmute to a level 1 white item it unsoul binds the skinn for use on other items only things that cant be unsoul bound are racial armor skins

i can agree $10 USD for a shirt or a tool is alittle much considering i can pay that much an get a real live version

an as said above the gem store’s income is funneled to NCsoft NOT Anet an the money you spend in the gem store goes to Linage or Aion or other games that you mostlikly aren’t playing atm

as it is now elem would better fit the roll of ranged dps or AOE whilst the guardian is better at melee dps or ranged support buffs

healing an support powers are why the guardian has such low HP ….with many builds a guardian has just as much survivability as any bunker warrior so please don’t complain about having low HP learn to use the classes abiltiys if you need more defence

i have a full suit of heavy 2 rings an one trinket an i just stopped …. even with a full set of divinity or travlers the set just doesn’t have anything it needs to anything well out side open world PvE the set takes too long to make its account bound from start to finish its just a pain an IMO not worth the effort sadly

Maybe if they buffed the “all stat” about 5-10 points per piece of gear it be half decent in dungeons or buff the stats by 10-20 points per piece of gear it might actually be usefull in WvW

with a 10-20 buff in the stats also it would be a ok set to craft as well as possibly one of of the top gear sets to get for hybrid class builds

IMO id would like to have more flexibility in all classes as it sits now there is ONE dps build ONE WvW build and ONE survivable build for the min max’rs out there. It would be nice to not know what build people are using simply by what weapon is in there hands.

an with no “holy tinity” or any usefull support build for that matter its just get your PvE DPS build for all dungeons all paths cause burning down a boss mob is easyer then any sort of tactics or healing support XD

I disagree with much you have said sorry its my opinion only point i agree on is the Living story is is only worth AP nothing more

Yes people will play stuff they don’t always enjoy … some people are here for the community or friends or guild moved from older game

“Will people play content that they don’t like” should be a more accurate question the answer is simple: No

do you watch TV or read a book that your friends read even if you don’t like it ? Maybe once or twice but if you have/had no interest in the TV show or Book befor ,simply cause your friend interested in it isn’t always going to make you watch or read something you hate any more

Account bound gear should be transferable its already bound making it more bound IMO seems repetitive

Simply put … i like the Idea of the living story… i hate how its implemented it feels disconnected with Tyria.

A lot of the time I just don’t care what is going on cause its so jumbled up. I tell my RL friends that “the living story in Guild wars 2 is like taking 9 or more odd an/or bad comic books ripping one page from each and then making a new odd short bad comic book that has no continuity”

IMO when people read a book or watch a tv show they like to watch them in order (safe to assume) id love to see an play in content that matches Tyria’s world more I don’t need to feel as if anything I do has an impact in Tyria just want to feel as if something is being accomplished. I Don’t need new items or loot or well junk (sense just about everything looks bad or silly from Gemstore) I just want Direction new areas to explore places to see an if the time is right even more NEW world bosses not just reworked boss monsters, killed them hundred times befor making them harder isn’t going to make me like fighting them more

Honestly its a balancing act that Aner has shown they don’t care about or don’t want to put the time into … they fallow the same old if its so good that every one is using it then nerf it …. with vary little to off set it

case point …. how many people have a warrior (I am sure a lot) how many of us have a Physical utility build ? sure there are a few but not nearly as many as there are shout/signet zerker builds. This is prof of what Anet dosn’t care about …balancing the unused or never used abilities

just like the racial abilities … they have no linked profession for synergy they have lower damage and/or higher cool downs in most cases just bad or worse then even the unused utilities

case point charr thief … has option of elite skills( I like my charr thief thank you XP)

clearly whats the point of having the Charr be a theif sense the thiefs elite ability is better and thus playing a Sylvari for Take Root Not available underwater.png 10 3 150 Take root at your current location, becoming immobile, but causing several turrets to grow nearby. in every way is a better use of points an optimization

or in the worst possible case no skill at all that is usefull you your build an this grab a utility that is just a “what ever” slot fill

If any one reads this and dosn’t understand what I talking about then either you have not been playing this game vary long or you don’t care and just grabbed a web build

I just hope that this game I like dosnt just get pushed to the back of my box of games simply because the Developers neglected it

P.S. the living story … is just bad I have found nothing interesting about them, an they have NOTHING to do with the fact that elder dragons are destroying Tyria or anything to do with Guild wars aka GUILD WARS ….“voteing in a new person to oversee Lions Arch” don’t care ….. should have been “Vote in a Special person to give our guild buff X to kill guild who has Buff X”

The more Options I can have in a game the better, that said Anet has shown a disturbing lack of balance or intrest in balancing the weapon sets and character builds,

balance the weapon+stat builds that no one uses first then id care more about wanting to add new weapons other wise it will just add more useless weapon builds to a stack of already fail builds that should be amazing

What this person said speaks to me in all the ways I agree with

some months I just don’t even log in cause the event is nothing im interested in or the rewards IMO are just plain bad

a lot of things need work in this game if it is a game of the year …. why is it getting neglected so badly
