Aeternum Victura!

We are the Khan-Ur’s finest, the first ones in, the last ones out. We fight for the Charr, for the good of the people, and the continuation of our race. The false gods and the traitorous Flame Legion cower at the sight of our glinting bayonets and swords. We march into battle, under our Tribune and Centurions, and we roar. We emerge victorious, crushing our foes. We show no mercy. And then we march on.
We are the Aquila Legion.

About the Guild
The Aquila legion is an RP guild. Our story is that we are sort of an elite legion within Charr society, much like a Guard Regiment IRL, and the nature of its founders and member-selecting process make it a Charr Supremacist group. We are members of the Khan-Ur’s Guard, but don’t let the name deceive you. Guarding the Khan-Ur is not the legion’s only role, and with the absence of a Khan-Ur at present, this frees up the legion even more. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE CHARR TO JOIN. You must merely embrace Charr culture and society. Non-Charr members are part of the Legion’s Auxiliaries.
We use steam to broadcast events to our members. We’re based in the UK and so our times will be revolving around UK time. The guild will be hosting WvW events, with some PvP events and WvE events in the future, hopefully.

History of the Guild
The re-capturing of Ascalon from the Humans instilled a sense of pride into the Charr. The Legion was founded shortly after, lead by a Iron Legion Engineer. This engineer became the Tribune of the Aquila Legion. The Engineer was joined by two of his warband comrades, both warriors from the blood legion. These two Charr became the Centurions of the Aquila Legion.
The three Charr thought the same: Charr Supremacy and Dominion. They made no secret of this, portraying themselves as superior to all others. This way, fellow loyalists would want to join. They also knew that if the Legion was going to be preaching Charr supremacy, if other races saw the skill of the Legion, then they would see the Skill of the Charr. The Legion had to be top-notch, elite. An intensive training programme was put in place to ensure the Legion would fight well. The decision was also made to let non-Charr into the Legion. That way when other races saw their own kind fighting for the Charr cause, they would be demoralized.
The foundations were set. History was created. And the Aquila legion would march to war, eradicating all those not faithful to the Charr.
Death to the weakling. Death to the fool. Death to Charr’s enemies!
