Absolutely not. OP’s video is at bare minimum graphics settings. I got DC’d before this fight so I wasn’t there for this one, but I was at the previous attempt. I’d wager there’s at least 70-80 players there on Teq that you don’t see in the video because of the culling. The key is actually to have a skeleton crew on the turrets and have everyone else DPSing the dragon.

I would honestly love to see someone post a video from TC’s PoV, with our mumble audio over the top. It’s like night and day. There’s nothing wrong with being laid back and enjoying yourselves, but I feel like IoJ’s biggest downfall is lack of leadership + communication. For the entire duration of the fight we had our designated commander barking orders (and remaining very positive about everything, mind you) while others fed information like spawned champions, locations of fingers, places that needed to be cleansed, where banners needed to be dropped, ETC, so that she could direct people where you guys needed help most. Having glanced at the channel list, I’d wager we had at least 60 people listening in, probably more. Communication is key.

I have no doubt in my mind that IoJ has the numbers to pull this off themselves, without being invaded by one of the megaservers. You just need to communicate better, decide on someone to rally behind, and keep the morale up.

Hmmm WvW down atm…. what to do.

We did a multiguild (CERN led) zerg of Balthazar. No exagerration, we think we burned him faster than he’s ever been burned before. He went from full health to dead in about 20 seconds.

I’d love to know if that was a record.

It was a little more than 20 seconds, but it was still the most ridiculous Balth I’ve ever seen. If only we had a few more commanders on the field..

To the asuran juggernaut engi that picked a fight with the TC necromancer hanging around greenlake on TCBL (I think you were BG, but I can’t remember your guild tag) 30 min – an hour ago: Please don’t use FT against a necro with a scepter out. It’s only going to end in heartbreak (and repair bills) for you. As someone who frequently plays engi as well, I wanted to give you a hug but that drake was intent on chewing on me so I didn’t get a chance. :<

And to the ICoa elementalist on the wall above us, sorry about surrounding you with marks, I wasn’t actually trying to kill you, I swear. I was just trying to trick you into breaking that pesky mortar for me do a little bit of decorating for you. ‘Cos y’know, my marks are green… your tower is green.. really, I think they go quite nicely together. I don’t think your friends liked it much though, so I had to skedaddle. Some people have no taste, I swear!

More guilds are staying than are leaving. All of our Oceanic/SEA guilds are staying. Guilds are coming into Crystal Desert.

Unless this fellow’s signature is grossly out of date, it would appear that CD just lost the Singaporean guild [VaL] to JQ. This whole end of free transfers thing is a real mess, I’m so sick of seeing mid-tier servers falling apart because some of their guilds have decided to jump ship in favor of the top 4. I do hope you’re right about getting new guilds in though, and I hope things work out well for you guys. >:

Does anyone have a server that’s past demo stage and into the herding the ancient stage? It’s entirely possible that the bombing run has become a normal DE and that the ancient was removed with the reset. Hoping someone can prove me wrong here.
