History :
We realised a long time ago, a guild can make a game 10x better for its members, or 10x worse.
My first “guild” in an mmo was in eve online( corporations in this game ), and lead me to quit the game out of bordem. A few years later, i tried EVE again & joined a well structured corp that time, and ended up playing the game for a further 3 years.
To see how some structured fun & organisation, presented in a friendly & protected atmosphere, could make a game amazingly more fun for myself, inspired me to start running guilds in other mmo’s.
Ive made 1000’s of friends over my years of various Guild leadership, unfortunately tho,
people just get bored of the game, new games come out, real life happens, and other circumstances that lead to members quitting, guilds disbanding, games hutting down etc..
So Serpentis Gaming was formed, a Website set up with one sole purpose, to bring like minded gamers together, in various games & make an easy friendly relaxed environment that we can all keep in contact for many years to come.
So that’s a little about our background, to give you an idea where our fundamentals come from, and now for the stuff you came for, our guild wars 2 guild

Our guild in guild wars 2 is focused heavily on PVE at the moment, regarding our guild upgrades, were currently building boosts that will help all of our members in regards to bonus EXP / drops / harvest / and of course Karma income.

weve done minimal for architecture to get a a guild bank, politics for emblem & armour, but now our focus is purely economics, with the goal to unlock all in future.
We do dabble in PvP for fun, but our main goal currently is to make our members enjoy the PVE aspect of the game, get to a high level & to help them get great equips.
PvP is in the pipeline tho, as we intend to open to all aspects of GW2.
Our Guild can currently promise you the following :
Guild Events : So far we have done events such as our first dungeon runs, created characters together to try and achieve level 0 to 80 with 0 deaths, we have many more planned such as dedicated dungeon nights, PvP, achievement farms & many more
If elitism is your thing, This is something we have done in other guilds and will do so in Gw2, We connect members that want that “Hardcore” dedicated team for various elements, be it dungeons, wvwvw, spvp or even tournaments. We do this by placing a high entry requirement to join these teams, so that “hardcore” players can group up with other like minded players & achieve that elitism experience.
Community wise, we use the minimal amount of rules to gain the Environment we wish to achieve, these are :
No racism of any kind ( this one isnt even a warning, our guild is very multicultural but all English speaking, our members are global and we do not tolerate racism at all )
Be active (we kick members that don’t log on for 7 days, this ensures we keep an active environment for all of our members, theres no point having 100+ members, if 70 of them never log on. Things like holiday ect should be notified on our site to prevent kicks )
English only in guild chat ( feel free to use what ever you like in whispers / party / map / local, but we like to make sure all members can understand each other & communicate )
No begging for items or boosts ( if your desperate for something, of course ask, but don’t start hounding people & begging, just ask once, and if no one replys assume its a no.
Keep a positive friendly public profile ( We don’t want people shuddering at the sound of our guild name, always be the better person, if someone starts an argument with you trying to get a rise, ignore them. Of course we understand people lose tempers ect, and we cant exactly police the way you guys talk in local when your on your own, but its something we’d appreciate our members to keep in mind while playing.
So to sum up our few rules : Be active & don’t be a kitten to people ( simples )
