I used it for Huntsman, but when I researched it, turns out, most of the other items needed for the Ravenswood Branch is Artificer… So abit of a joke to add ‘Weaponsmithing, Huntsman’ to it when the experimental staff head and the shaft are both an Artificer thing…
Edit: Just made my Ranger an Artificer… All the stuff is there. The staff head, inscription etc. Just means gotta level up Artificer again…

I preferred the idea of them being Mursaat, it would have been an fun new dynamic, like, they hate us for what we’ve been a part of in doing to their race, but they need our help… Could have also paved the way to some White Mantle themed content in the future… The blog post did spoil a little much, but maybe we’ll see some old GW1 NPC’s return in this new form?
Woot! More staff damage! FEAR THE REVENANTS! WE HAVE EXTRA STRONG POINTY STICKS! Mwuahahahahaha.
Also, no Battle Scars as the heal for Shiro? But Shiro looks Shweeeeeeeeet.
So recently i’ve been thinking about future content (like alot of people), and I really want to see some more Home Instance, for example, the first 30 levels of personal story for a human is very central on your home instance, with your background and when you meet the orders, but after that, it sort of just fades in to the distance and you don’t really think about it till you roll a new chharacter. What i’d like to see is, after you defeat Zhaitan, save the world, become awesome… Life sort of goes on, sort of like the living story but kind of permanent.
I was thinking of different chars/backgrounds having different missions, so it will still feel like it’s your own journey through Tyria, and will make more people go back to the area that you can clearly see ArenaNet have worked hard to make. For example, a human noble goes back to the home instance because he has heard of a Ocean Eleven (Can include obvious references to the films) style group who are going around their home instance robbing everyone, and it’s up to them to solve the problems, or a commoner goes back to his home instance to try and help rebuild either the orphanage or the vanguard hospital, but then a bandit attack seems to make things worse. Norn for example would go back to Hoelbrak a hero and do what Eir did after defeating the Dragonspawn, try to break the Tooth of Jormag, fails and then has a crisis of faith in the Spirits of the Wild, and sort of goes on a journey to re-connect with his totem.
I would go in to tonnes of detail with my ideas, but then this would become such a long post, it would become an essay and no one likes reading essays. I mean, i’m not a games designer or a very good story writer, but it’s just some minor ideas that I think would make players want to go back to there home instance and see what has changed.
