Granted I could be completely wrong on this, but I just feel like it won’t be given the size of the current game ^^; that would be over double what we already have. I realize mmos are massive, but again, given the size of what we have 35GB is a little extreme to assume.

Yeah i already said that this assumption is blown out of proportions

Well my problem isnt exactly that there will be a “pretty big update” but i fear that there will be a “ZOMG kitten IS DIS 35 GIGABYTES?!” patch even though this is blown out of proportions

Since as far as i know we only got Betastuff and only this was Datamined, and this is only, lets think up a number, about 10% of what the Addon weighs.

Im pretty sure im mistaken on that, and this is only my uneasyness due to excitement talking.

Hey guys im sure this was asked before but was it anywhere stated how ANet is going to handle the update if there will be one ?
Im pretty concerned that when release hits they just drop a massive patch and instead of getting to play on time we´ll have to stare at the very uninformational updater and stare….and stare…and stare…

Since there is STILL no prepatch im getting a little bit panicked.

Although i like Minion based playstyles very much i actually never enjoyed SW.
When they stand still they look awesome, as soon as they wobble about… it becomes comedy…

So i would redesign them, not from scratch but…you will see what i mean:

1: The active commands are pretty nice, so get away from summoning stuff and then commanding the SW. If you activate, lets say, the Sword. it just spawns on Target location or where you point it to does its thing and disappears.

2. Make an Elite skill that copies our weapon (i actually would enjoy just blue flames on my weapon) which then copies our weapon skills as we do them. Lets say 60 sec CD 10-20 sec duration and minus 50% dmg and half the condi duration from our base dmg/condi time. In WoW the DK once had just this as an elite skill.

Pretty boring but with this we would have most of the utility, although some gets lost, and some selfish offensive dps elite.

Im pretty happy with the class so far.The only things that really got on my nerves were:

Astral Form needs some damage added and/or some bigger radiuses.

Glyphs feel a bit clunky. When i tried to spam them, for some Seed heals, and pressed the Hotkeys in the same tempo as i always with every other class and “insta cast”skillset do, only the first one came through. This felt really awkward.

The Hammer holding animation needs to be changed.

And the Sounds of Staff 1…. Am i the only one who thinks these sounds dont resemble Lazerishy sounds but more like something wet,mean and grumbly in someones stomach?
Its almost as annoying as Necro Staff sounds were when the game released.
