I agree! $10 is a lot of money for a single use item. The GW1 system was much better. When it was account bound I bought EVERY set. Now I only pick and choose the ones I really love.

Agreed!! I would buy pretty much every skin if they were account bound and I would buy most if they were at least reusable (like the zenith skins).

Thanks for all the replies, I am absolutely going to have to study up/practice damage avoidance before giving it another go later- guess it was just frustrating to experience that in the lowest lvl dungeon.
Any tips on areas other than dungeons to really get some good timing / damage mitigation experience as I’m leveling?

Holy cow!!!!! I’m level 56 thief with level appropriate gear/weapons (mix of greens and yellows) and I’m a longtime wow player who has converted to gw2. I’m really enjoying the game! However, I just tried to do the first level 35 dungeon and YEESH, that was PAINFUL!! I was running it with 3 other people who were in my old wow guild, experienced 80s who have been playing is game since launch and 1 level 80 pug. 4 of us were in mumble and able to communicate strategy pretty well.
We got through the spider queen, wiped about 9 times on the lieutenant before skipping him entirely, and then fought for probably about 2.5 hours with the giant lizard that is invincible unless you ghostbuster the oozes to a trap before finally giving up in frustration… I know I’m newer to the game and most people are going to just hit me with l2p noooooob.. But that wasn’t even fun….
Are all of the dungeons like this? It just seems so out of place? Is the 35 dungeon just a severe gear check? (How 35s could do this without some major coordination is beyond me)
It’s really kinda shocking and disappointing, I did not really enjoy that experience and if that is what the dungeons are like in this game I am going to have to stick with pvp…

Ok, I’m almost positive that someone has posted this before, but I couldn’t find anything using the search tool (0 results for trade, trading, trading post, back, etc.)
2 things:
1.) how about a trading mechanic in game? I know you can mail items, but if you are trading something, there’s no way to ensure that the other player will send me what I agreed to? (Also, a cash/gold on delivery system with the email would be useful if we have to use email to move items between players)
2.) I may just be stupid, but I can’t find a way to search for back armor pieces on the trading post…doesn’t look like that is an option in the available filtering?

Great game! Keep updating it! (And put more skins out there! I want to give you more money!!)
