None of my characters have gotten their birthday gift and i have 5 characters now that say 12 months when I /age but still no gift.

Depending on what kind of cooling pad you got it might actually be making your problem worse because the macbook pro with a unibody uses the aluminum case as a heat sink. Im playing on a mid 2010 with no problem and I don’t use the fan control or a cooling pad. just make sure you play on a solid surface that will work as a good heat sink for your computer don’t play on carpet or on a bed that wont aloud the heat to transfer well.
