Thx for your reply . You are right about the time zone, I observed the same things. I will follow your advice and see how it does.

Since I moved in China I have high ping rate 500-1200 at doing nothing and 4000+ in combat if there are more than 10 people around me. Most of the time my game crash if the fight is too ( 10 +players) big or too long 2-4 minutes.

I tried different VPN/tunnel software but sadly nothing really improve the ping rate.
Is there someone who experienced the same problem and found a solution ?

The current stab need a buff, simple math are speaking. If you can push or bait , you are simply facing incompetent or a groups who aren’t on ts. Sadly most of them already left, it’s why even my thief can push at the moment. Stab is no more a counter cc in a large scale fight, people bait it forever and we have a piratships meta.

If we compare the stab and cc in a large scale fight it easy to realize how the cc sky rocket. A group of 40 man need 16 stand your ground to push on 5 staff ele’s. Even if I hated the old stab because it was faceroll when we run with 60% guard now it’s worst.

Except any commander with a clue, just baits out CC, then pushes, frankly the powercreep and the level of damage is more of an issue.

You don’t talk about ‘WvW’, so what is this mystery game mode that isn’t WvW that you are playing in GW2 with zergs of 40 going against 10?

As for SC2, apparently you need that explained, so, you made some comment about ‘organised small groups’ and ‘braindead 50 man zergs’, the point I was making, was that you seem to be under the delusion that an ‘organised small group’ isn’t brainless, requires skills, etc, newsflash it is a low skilled game, WvW lower skilled still that requires a laughbly small amount of thought, that includes your ‘small organised group’, hence it is hardly SC2 a game that actually takes a brain and level of skill way beyond anything in WvW to play well.

I didn’t talk about the people on left before 2015 but the players who were in the game in 2015 and left after the stab change. The 50% is an observation,, I don’t have the metric information . Yes, in 2014 a lot more people left the game than 2015.

The point was that WvW had heavily been losing players for a long time, even before the stab change, for a whole multitude of reasons, you read too much into the stab change.

All this sound elitism tbh. You must be the only high skilled player in the game, I am happy for you.

I think you’re being conservative on 80% if you don’t count EoTM karma trainers and upscales..more like 95% of the original population (judging by my friends list of wvw players, hardly anyone ever logs in any more at all).

Yes I was conservative on this quote. If I look my friends list since 2014 you are right … it’s more like 99%. The actual T1 have less people than the old T6

For me the Pirate ship meta is like the turret engi in pvp or dueling an asura, it’s show me the serious of this game.

They should push more the gameplay around the spirit ranger , I really miss this build.

Play a different game, will save you a lot of frustration.

I suggest you to drop warrior and start to play Druid before playing an other game. I feel lot more skilled to clear my condi and attacking people with my new pets. Also with druid you can study and eat during your game with almost the same result.

On the side note: Playing an other game while you play druid is also possible, it’s a multi-task class.

Druid is fine and healthy for the game, once we stop keyboard turning we can be in the top 10% best rangers or in the 10 last depend of the state of the game, I really enjoy it.

Rangers are underpower since the beta even if we are the strongest class out of keyboard. Don’t change the new pets they are good and healthy for the game.

No worry, the stab is fine. In a few months the WvWvW will be a 5v5v5 so it will be balanced.

Our pets are fine , it’s just a L2P issue , like the long bow RP in the past, you can los and dodge. There is no reason to nerft us , we are not even meta. Only our high skill play keep us in the game at each patch (always ranger nerf).

You will enjoy this class. In the past I only found 3-4 builds who fit with me ( turret engi, condi theif, Dire mesmer, Cele DD ele) but I recently find the ranger and the whole class fit with my play style and past builds.

Since HoT ranger is more fun then ever, we can show our true skills with new pets and trait line. But we are still under power in pvp , not even meta. Anet know it they will probably buff it in the future.

Druid is not even in the meta, they should buff it more (increase sustain and dps). we have to outplay everyone and perfectly manage our skills to get the same result.

Yes, everyone use Bristleback and Smokescale, they are our only decent pets, the rest is garbage, all pets should be like these 2.

I love this high skilled class even if we are underpower since the beta.
