Guys, calm down!
There’s no need for insults or flaming.
Let’s just keep it nice and enjoy the game.
Ahahah, good one.
No but seriously, thanks for the effort at keeping this civil.
As for me, I am really enjoying WvW this week on SFR. We have some amazing players and commanders, and it is a pleasure fighting at their side.
Guardian. Or warrior.
The first things that come to your mind when you think about a norn.
I can’t believe that after all the time that has passed there is still people complaining about night capping. Some people just fail to deal with things. Also, if you play during the night, you will find that there is plenty of players on all three sides. Stop kittening.
I tried to make my guardian look very ‘normal’ and even androgynous, and he gets called cute a lot.
You wanted to make your guardian look androgynous and rolled a Silvary?
Seems legit.
God no. Asuras are possibly the worst looking race for me. Oh wait, after silvary.
Norns and Charrs for the win.
Worse than that, is the fact that I loot a badge of honor every 50 enemies killed.
I am playing a guardian, and every time I meet a thief I just sigh.
Can’t do anything against a good thief. His burst cannot kill me. As soon as he jumps on me I deal tremendous damage to him. He uses stealth and runs away. I have no means to finish or chase him. I resume what I was doing, knowing that he will be back in few seconds. Same thing happens all over again. There is no way out. I can keep fighting for 30 minutes straight, knowing that he will probably end up killing me through sheer attrition (or with someone coming to his aid), try to find the nearest friendly to help me out, or log out. Great gameplay design guys. Whoever thought that a thief should be able to spam stealth every 2 seconds, and get away or get in any fight as he pleases, gotta be a rare genius. Thank you very much.
That’s why I stopped playing a solo roamer and learned to stick with the zerg. Real fun.
Ahah, ben fatto gente.
Keep up the good work.
Patch is out.
(Some useless text to meet minimum requirements)
All gear purchasable from dungeon vendors in for level 80s. You have no such option as to buy level 35 armors and weapons.
Oh wait, you mean those lower tier armors who look exactly the same for each dungeon? Do not waste your tokens on non-exotic equipment.
You are right, but why you started a new thread? Again? Just post your complaints in the already existing ones. As you said, it’s a known issue and they are working on it. In the meantime, take a break from dungeons if you don’t want to be rewarded less of what is right.
What the OP posted is totally true
I’d like to see some proof of this.
All I see is someone who overlooks one thing that is true of all 24/7 matches: If you don’t have people online all the time, you will always lose to people who do.
Yet, despite having this obvious problem with their team, they still think themselves better than players who don’t have this blindingly obvious problem.
IMO the solution here is to not allow NA in EU servers and vice versa, plus a decent buff when outmanned with like +hp and defensive buffs or something like the next tally point instead of 15min (i supose it is atm) like only every hour or more idk.
What about oceanic players ?
Then again, I suppose that New Zealand is overpowered. After all, we used to have moas.
They consider themselves stronger because everytime they meet on the battlefield with even forces they win. It’s not rocket science. When FS has a fully deployed force during prime time, they win against VS. Every time. This makes them better than VS. That simple.
The fact that VS’ lead is only due to nightcapping is quite outrageous and something of which even all the competitive french players should be ashamed of. Still, it’s hard to blame them for doing it. If some people play at night they have all the rights to do what they want. This is a problem that should be fixed by ANet. Maybe splitting day and night points? Don’t know. Something must be done though, if WvW is intended to be serious competition.
You gained the normal amount gained before the patch and you feel like you didn’t gain anything?
Ahahah, oh my god. This gotta be one of the dumbest reasoning I’ve ever heard.
I didn’t get my full 180 tickets either, but I don’t feel like I wasted my time or that I didn’t get anything, I just care less than other people and don’t go round whining (which is what most of the people on this forum are doing).
It’s like those people on deal or no deal who cry because they took a deal early on and end up getting the £250,000 box (British thing)
If you care less, it’s because you are not in it for the gear, which is why most people are farming tokens in dungeons. I don’t feel like I wasted my time either. I played with cool guys and enjoyed simply running dungeons with them. That’s why I kept doing them even though I knew exactly I was getting ridiculous rewards. This, however, doesn’t prevent me from feeling a bit cheated. I lost a lot of rewards I rightfully earned. And frankly, this is completely ANet fault. I came to these forum to express my disappointment as I saw fit. Now I guess I’ll suck it up and wait for the fix.

Err… my rewards have been diminished by, roughly, 75%. Due to bugs, obviously. Am I getting all these rewards (which I legitimately earned with hours of efforts) back in some way? Guess what, no. I have, at least, the right to complain as loud as I like.
Yeah… don’t bother trying to find smart reward systems who actually make some sense (I like your ideas here) for a developer who thinks a “diminished return” system is a good thing.
What? I lost party members a lot of times (some times I even completed dungeons with 4 players or 3) . I have never seen mobs turning invincible.
Every single dog has the fear ability. You can’t pop it every one of 10 dogs fears your team.
It’s not like they spam it over and over. Just coordinate with your team and it should not be that hard. While you easily take them down one after the other. I did it first time with a normal pug completely blind. No particular problem.
You are talking about story mode, aren’t you? Can’t remember it, but you can use some skill to remove conditions or resist/break stuns for that fear ability.
So basically what Robert is saying; is that we can only be good at one dungeon.
no, he didn’t say that
Sorry, let me rephrase what I said for Mr. Literal over here.
He said that you can be fast, but only be fast in one dungeon within a certain period of time. If I want to do all 3 paths of a dungeon; assuming I’m good at them I’ll be punished if I do the other two paths too quickly after the first path?
If I interpreted that correctly; that is beyond pathetic.
Cry more. You don’t know the minimum and maximum amount of time in which the DR system kicks in, nor do you get that “speed clearing” the same path (or multiple easy paths) is the reason why DR was implemented in the first place.
Just stop. try harder content that takes longer, then you won’t hit the DR. This isn’t rocket science.
1. “Cry more” is something only a childish person would say.
2. We do not know it because they are not willing to let us know it, apparently. Thanks for that.
3. I don’t want to “try harder content that takes longer”, nor any other content at all. THIS content is giving me the tokens I NEED to buy the gear I WANT. If there was another way, or multiple other ways, to get thekittenrewards I desire, I would gladly do them.
So go tell “cry more” to the mirror next time.

You can be good at all dungeons. Just don’t run them back to back in rapid succession.
And why, for goodness sake, I cannot run dungeons whenever I want and at whatever speed I want?
I have met a few good players while running dungeons. We assemble from time to time just for doing some runs, have fun together and gaining tokens. We have become pretty good at it and we enjoy improving our performance if we can. Oh but, we are now punished for it. Because someone thought it was cool to prevent people from playing however they want. Thanks, really. And on top of that, I have lost something around 500 tokens to some bug which affects even first runs. Tokens I guess I’ll never see from Anet. Hours of commitment without any proper reward. Luckily enough, I enjoyed playing with those good people, and this is the only thing preventing me from quitting this dumb game once and for all. I can only hope that, one day, maybe, the programmers will realize how idiotic this whole “diminished returns” system is.
mind.blown.
I have finished all the the dungeons and done every dungeon in exp mode and only challenging dungeon was Crucible of Eternity(exp mode).Sorry to say sir,but your bad.
You are in the wrong thread.
It’s come to my attention that perhaps this bug is because of pre patch runs done this day before the patch, that the penalty applying then somehow was translated to today.
I thought about this myself.
I run CM at approximately 01:00 AM today (before the patch) and those three more times after the patch was applied. Seems probable.
3, 2 and 1 CM paths in this order and got 45, 30 and 15 respectively. One of my party members got 60 all three times. I’m mad.
