yeah but you get hit by one rock and its all over
can someone please tell me how to escape this attack? im tired of replaying this just to die at this moment. also, how do you get the npc to not progress the fight in midair thereby ruining your attempt?
I think it would be cool if staff 5 gave the thief a tiny amount of fall damage, making stealth arts something to consider as a daredevil.
I’m not sure what setup you’re using, but using thrill of the crime and pack runes gives you just over 100% swiftness uptime in combat. It would effectively make any movement boost you get null because swiftness is better. Besides this effective d/p usage typically has a large number of gap closers #2,#3,steal,infiltrators(optional),shadowstep. Combined together, I believe that using any movement utilities or runes is not as effective as a simple trickery plus pack setup.
You’re totally right, man. I have those runes and all those skills but I forgot to mention that I was pretty much referring to WVW. I’m not that good, but I used to get a lot of enjoyment out of ‘door/zerg dives’ using shadow refuge and fleet shadow to get might and run through the crowd looking for the best target. Now, I’m looking at giving up thrill of the crime to get flanking strikes to get some sort of ‘hit f1 to win’ thing (unfortunately). I think the main thing is that I miss the rush of running fast through the crowd while invisible looking for that just one backstab and maybe a bit more before i leave and maybe someone else takes over and downs/finishes them.
Anyone else feeling kind of sluggish after you can’t just put 2 points into acro? Have you changed to movement speed runes so you can catchup to people while trying to keep your steal and maybe signet for a better moment? Does it make me bad for considering these questions? Thanks!

See title, the things i type don’t even show up in my chat box they just disappear into space. this is the second guild i’ve joined that this has happened with. I’m lucky they still keep me around.
As someone who has trouble going full berzerker on thief, my advice is that you take the time and gold or karma to purchase and experiment with different jewelery setups. Generally, I feel that it’s pretty safe to wear full offensive armor and weapons and put the defense you need in the trinket section. After many hours of playing, I found that a cavalier necklace, 2 cavalier rings and 2 berzerker+valkyrie trinkets was the perfect fit for my skill level (berzerker everything else). Your experience my vary of course. Good luck!
I like to run a tougher thief, something like this: (http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fZEQNAoYVl8Mp0pdPxyJ0PJRPRsdwyD3RZhA-TViDwA8Ui9S9nQ6bCq8Ag5PEKB3t/wlnAQhTBAZA03CA-w). Ascended trinkets get you a better cavalier stat so you can throw more offensive trinkets in there. The heal skill, sigils and the last trait points are really up to you and what you’re doing. Mug and thrill of the crime are great for PvE. I like fleet shadow for WvW sometimes too. Shadow refuge is your 2nd heal skill really plus a nice might source. Also, instead of stacking power per kill, I like to stack swiftness. It’s addictive and i can’t stop. With all the fury you get, you won’t really miss the precision.
Happening right now to me too. In my guild menu it appears as if they are done even though it is Saturday.
Edit: This is a guesting issue most likely. After guesting to the server the guild was in I received rewards.

I’ve been having fun with a D/D, P/D power setup. 6/x/6/x/x -mug, dagger damage, revealed training, stealth cleanse, stealth blind, stealth 1/2 damage with your choice of minor trait (I use pistol training, fleet shadow or thrill). Sigil of intelligence on the main hand dag, hydromancy off hand and sigil of battle on the pistol. Makes it a lot easier to hit CnDs while getting crits on the CnD>backstab/pistol attack or heartseekers. Just gotta make sure not to swap in stealth to avoid revealing yourself. The new shadow arts trait helps you while staying close to enemies, I haven’t fully made up my mind about it though.

I enjoy the new flute very much but I think the attack is a bit too long and screws my rhythm up because I’m not hearing the notes soon enough. Is anyone else having this problem?
