I love the ele but I hate how easy she dies. I think that make me more upset than anything in this game is dieing all the time. Every once in a while ok np I might laughter but when I die 4 times in 5 min that is to much haha

If there is a class that can close the gap fast I don’t mind them neither so much. Just hate having to run after something while it is killing me with ranged skills if you know what I am talking about.

i have been gone from the game for about 15 months now and i am returning to the game. I have all Professions to level 80 other than thief and engineer. I play PVE like 98% of the time and solo like 99% of the time. I like mainly a ranged class but the ranger for some reason just is not doing it for me this time. I want to know what peoples opinion is on what profession is best suited for soloing pve and being mostly ranged. I say ranged because i hate having to keep someone close enough to me to hit . Nothing makes me more upset than to hit a skill and they are not in range of my attack. Any input on this would really be appreciated. I also don’t care to level one of the 2 class i don’t currently have to 80 if it might be best for what i am looking for.

About to make my first Revenant and was wanting everyones opinion on what race this would be best in

i am about ready to start leveling me another alt to 80. I have everything to 80 other than Mez ,Thief ,Engi, and Rev. Looking for opinions on what i should get to 80 next. I play pve most of the time .

What profession is the toughest and can still do great damage? I have been back about 4 weeks after almost a year being gone. I just got the expansion 2 days ago and after being gone so long and with everything that has changed i am having trouble picking a profession to play and stick with. I like ranged class’s in most games i have ever played but in gw2 if you play only at a range you are at a disadvantage as far as damage goes because the game rewards those that play up close and personal with more damage. That is why i want to know what people think in there own opinion is a class that does not die easy or is forgiving if you forget to roll out of the way first thing. I do not mind finishing leveling one of my professions but what i have right now is ( Warrior 80) ( Guard 80 ) ( Necro 80 ) ( Ranger 80 ) ( Mez 55 ) ( Ele 70 ) ( Engi 45 ) ( Theif 30 ) and i have not made the Rev yet.

well i need to be getting one ready is why i am asking now

well the only celestial gear i have is the amulet and rings and those can be put on anyone so they are all geared the same i guess

I don’t have the expansion yet but hope to be getting it very soon. I want to pick a main profession to main right now and focus on getting it raid ready. I like so many of the professions and with me also not having the expansion yet it is making it hard to chose just one to gear. I will in the future gear other professions but for now i need helping picking one that will be needed and wanted in most if not all raid compositions that way i am not wasting my time an mates on gear and such. Like i stated before i like just about every profession. Any input into this will help me a lot. Thank you to everyone that post here with helpful advise on this problem i am having !

wanting to get a little more into this and maybe just open it up to any of the professions people think are doing better and not just those 3 . I am trying to pick a main to focus on at this time to get geared for raids and i like so many of the professions i am having a hard time picking that one to gear up for now . I just want one that will be wanted and needed in ever raid group for now till i can get more stuff to gear a 2nd

OK i have been gone a year and have been back now for about a week and i don’t have the Expansion yet. I can not figure out what class i want to get points saved up on till i can get the Expansion and i don’t know how long it will be till i will have the extra money to spare for it. I know i am very interested in doing raids when i get it and when i played before i did PvE content 85% + of the time. I already have at least one of every class started and at different levels. I want a class that will be the most wanted for now in raids and PvE content to be saving points on that way when i get the Expansion i will be ready to roll. It does not matter to me what class it is as long as it will be wanted or needed in every raid and pve comp that way i am not wasting my time right now on saving up points. When i get the Expansion i will of course work on all of them when i can but for now need the one so any insight people can give to me on the best pick for now will be very much appreciated!

ok so what will fill the damage roll or tanking roll in the raids do you think then? and as far as support goes i will most likely pick the druid for that

i have a Necro, Warrio , Guard , and Ranger all at 80 and all the other started with the exception of the new one because i have not bought the expansion yet.

i play PvE most of the time and PvP when i get tired of that.

Is there one class that is shinning over the others right now maybe ?

I do not care if it is one of my 80’s or another class i just need help picking one right now .

You’ll need mastery points and Hero points to do anything with the new specializations and the new mastery system. You can be getting those in the core game so when you do buy the expansion, your elite spec is close to done and you won’t be scratching around for the Tyrian mastery points.

I have been gone for about a year now and was wanting to come back to the game and give it a try with the release of the expansion. Is the game still worth playing without the expansion or is it better to just wait till i have the money to buy the expansion before coming back again. Like i am not sure how the mastery system works but if i was to play now can i still earn stuff for it and maybe just not use it till i buy the expansion? I know i do not get the new weapons for the class’s and i can not go into the new areas but was wanting to know if there is still stuff i can do that will help me when i have the money to get the expansion?
