Guild Wars 2

I’m new to GW2, have PVP:ed some as a Hambow Warrior and starting now as a Mesmer. I tried this specc and the original Blackwater specc against the “training proffesion npcs” in the Mists. I seemed to take ALOT more damage in this specc compared to the other one.

So my question is: Is this specc really better than the original Blackwater specc in SPVP? I heard I can’t play WvW to the fullest before I’m 80 because I don’t get all skills, that’s why I’m wondering about SPVP.

Oh okey! Then I’ll try that more then I thought it was good somehow to do my attacks in the fire, just didn’t know why! Thanks!

Thanks for the help, just one question about the fire field!

How am I supposed to get stacks of might from my fire field of my Longbow’s burst attack? I just read all traits and utility skills and didn’t see any of them making me gain might stacks from the fire field that my Longbow creates. Thanks again!

Hello, I just started playing GW2 and wanted to try some PvP now when my Warrior is level 17. I searched the forums and found that Hambow is the best PvP specc, found different variations of it, but I chose the one that was in the middle of pure power and pure survivability and so now I’ve specced into that specc and need help.

But I wonder, what is the ultimate rotation of this specc? Plus, do I do more damage with my Hammer if I stand in the fire of my Longbow’s burst AoE attack?

Extra: I’ll add some info that might help to know exactly how I specced.
Traits: 0/0/30/10/30
Traitskills:
(30) Defense: Dogged March, Cleansing Ire, Merciless Hammer
(10) Tactics: Leg Specialist
(30) Discipline: Signet Mastery, Destruction of the Empowered, Burst Mastery

Heal, Utility and Elite Skills:

Heal: Healing Signet
Utility: Endure Pain, Berserker Stance, Dolyak Signet
Elite: Signet of Rage

Gear:

Runes on armor: Elyssa
Sigil on weapons: Hammer has 15% extra stun duration and Bow gets 3 stacks of might when I switch to it.
Amulet: Berserker. (Here the choice was between 30% more crit with Berserker or 3k hp more with Soldier. I thought I want more crit when I damage people who I stun. and went with Berserker)

Summary: If anyone knows this specc good enough it would be lovely if you could help me figure out the rotation and basic thoughts about this specc and it’s gimmicks! Thanks
