I mean before the new LA there were all the merchants of the corresponding dungeon, with tents, tables, and such.

Now the new merchant just stands there all in itself like an idiot and if it were not for the icon i would have never guessed that i should redeem my tokens at them.
A table with some armors and weapons, a banner maybe or bunch of crates would be have been nice, it just looks kind of dull to me.

He’s offering a s**tload of weapons and armor from his pocket? Come on anet. It is not hard to put some tables, armors and boxes there

So I was down with my friend doing this story mission when after the ending scene where the master of peace of what speaks to you the game re-positions you towards the wall (assuming you were far from the master of peace) but I was too close so I got stuck in the wall.

There was no wapoint in this mission and /stuck did not work.
Had to start over again.

0/10 – would never spend another 30mins in the labiryth again…

They already have a whole load of emotes for different expressions like /shrug, /agree, /cheer, /cry etc. so it would probably just be a matter of making the relevant characters a shortcut for them, like ? for /shrug or /ponder.

But what would happen if your character was already doing something? If you had auto-run on, or you were fighting or something while typing it would be incredibly annoying if that was interrupted just so your character could perform an emote the people you’re speaking to probably won’t see.

So if this was implemented it would need to only happen if your character was standing still (and preferably only when you’re out of combat) or there would have to be a way to disable it. Preferably the first one because if you have to go through the options menu to turn it on and off as needed most people would probably just keep it off at all times.

None of these are issues in WoW. It’s literally just an overwrite of the idle animation.

@op you forgot an important one. Typing “lol” in /say also triggers the laugh emote. There’s also a separate animation for /yell compared to /say. Looks like your character is shouting.

Exactly! (I’m not saying to copy WoW but this feature is well structured in it and makes a perfect example.)
And thank you for reminding me for the lolz.

So I play this game for like 3 years now and I’m still loving it but one thing can’t get off my mind.

I moved to GW2 from WoW and I realized they are to different games so there is no way to compare the two in gamestlye but WoW had something that GW2 does not and I miss.

Body language when characters speak!

When you say something in chat and your character is fully communicating with its entire body, face arms waving, hips moving face mimicing etc. based on the type of your speach. (chatting, !, and ? marks modified these animations so your character would raise its shoulder when asking for eg.) not just a bubble pop-up. (In party and guild chat is fine though).

I know how hard and time taking to make animations like:
- chatting
-asking
-yelling

But its been some years since beta and this feature would be more than awesome.

Best regards and my respect to the hard-working developers.
