Guild Wars 2

i am admin … on my PC and i hade no problems installing the first time but this error came up and they said reinstall… but i cant due thoo the same error.

Btw disabled my firewall AND uninstalled my antivirus for the process and the same thing happened please help.

Hy im trying to reinstall GW2 but i cant bc i keep getting an error when i open the setup.exe (on the disc) and the gray thing appears where it downloads 10MB’s of data or something like that and it gives me an error ill attack a .txt to let you guys see what i mean by error

and um btw the same thing happens when i try to install the game i deleted evry gw2 file on my pc and now tryed nstalling from a CD and the same problem occures.

umm… what do you mean by that;/ i mea i get what you mean but i could i not have permission im administrator on my PC

regardless how the game runs it still uses more resources to run the game. So still i sugjest try playing on a lower setting and see how it goes like that the game is pritty nice looking on med setting so that mutch eyecandy at the expencive of a 1-2 more years on the same graf would be enaugh for me.

Well gw is a high demanding game my graf cars (N440 btw) growls like a jungle cat but try playing on a lower res and if it sill kepps up then it’s Arena.net’s side the problem is coming from.

Hy you have an option on the main webstie wher eyou set up the authenticator to enable 30-day trust wich means that that PC you enable it on is trusted for 30 days and it wont ask you your authentication. Hope it helps.

Hy i have the same problem and i would sugjest this Downlad the game compleatly from their site and try to play that way bc the problem lies in the tmp file that the launcher download’s (or tryes to) it cannot be opened due it beeing corupted/not fully downloaded.
i would downloade the game ad tellyou if it works but ^^" 120 kb/s takes a Loong time and i cant let my PC run for that long (personal matters).

I have the simmular problem but mine is that i cant even install it it downloads 12 MB’s of data at the launcher screen and then crashes.Now i think the solution is this (please note this is just a hunch) that you should download the whole game from their website (bc i think it’s the one tht you download from there has the Lost Shores patch in it selfe so you dont have to bother with downloading it).
In my case i bout it on a CD and cant install and now im waiting for a responce from support(i would download it from the website but my internet is rather slow so it would take me for ever) Please try this and let me know if it works or not.

Same thing as iAsuno but the difference is it downloads a few kb’s of data and gives me a message to message support or reinstall the game but i cant reinstall bc the message appears as soon as i click on the setup.exe …. please Arena.net atleast give us an update on the issue ;/

Okey tryed reinstalling … same thing happened.Log added in attachment’s PLEASE HELP.

When i double click on gw.exe it opens up the thing b4 you log in and it downloads 10287 KB of data and then gives me this message:
“Unable to verify the Guild Wars 2 Executable. Please try again. If the problem prersists uninstall and reinstall the application,or contact customer support.”
And my only option is to click OK.
Now i havent tried reinstalling bc of my internet and i would like to avoid that is possible
so eny one got a fix for this?
Yes, i have tryed the -repair thing and the same thing happens.
Please help.

Hy um my problem is allmost the same but my problem start’s when it download’s the 1mb thing at the launcher and then it gives mi a message:
“Unable to veryfy the Guild Wars 2 Executable. Please try again.If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the application, or contact Customer support.”
Dident try re installing bc dont have time atm hoping it’s something server related bc i have a solow connection and it would take me forever to download everything again ;/
