Oh dear, +1 to idea for Shapeshifting. That would be so HoT

I want to see something new in this game too. I agree with OP that Revenant is not bringing any new aspect to the game. And most of all, I agree with the underwhelming feel.

I have tried to figure out what would bring something “new” to Revenant, and yes Shapeshifting would be one of them. Revenant’s utility skills are already locked with those Legends. That is not bringing any diversity to the playing. Anet dictates so narrow utility skills to Revenant. They should give some purpose for that, like shapeshifting. Think about it like Caithe’s story in Living Story 2. Revenants are getting Jalis Ironhammer’s skills or Mallyx the Unyielding’s skills or Ventari’s skills to use. Revenant would be at it’s normal form and race when he/she is out of combat, but when ever that combat starts, Revenants shapeshifting to active Legend. And Revenant is able to change his/her’s appearance during the fight by changing Legend.

I have 11 accounts and I will not buy HoT none of them.

It is not worth to buy that expansion. If there would have been even one character slot in cheapest version I would have been consider it. And those versions what have character slot, is way too expensive.

I have been loyal customer since Guild Wars 1 and I supported Anet when they made Guild Wars 2. I have support them while I have been playing this Guild Wars 2 by buying gems. But now it ends in here. I will not buy any gems either. This slap in the face was true waking call.

I am happy with core game and there is plenty of doing in there. So no HoT to any of my accounts.

In Specialization Part Two blog post there is a paragraph where stands:

" Hero Points will be limited, and they’ll be earned strictly through what are currently called skill challenges (these will become known as hero challenges) and leveling up. A level 80 character that’s done none of the hero challenges should be able to unlock more than enough skills, specializations, and traits to make several unique full builds. A single character who’s done a fair amount of the hero challenges should be able to unlock all of the core specializations, skills, and traits.

Old skill points in excess of those earned by leveling and skill challenges will be converted into crafting materials for the Mystic Forge. "

In this video he says:
220 Skill Challenges are in the game
400 points you will get by leveling (lvl 80)
465 points you need to get all core traits and skills

It means literally that you need to do 65 skill challenges to get all traits and skills from core game. Those characters what have done map completion will get extra points what are saved to elite skills.

So when we know this information this is what happens to my level 80 character who now have opened all traits and skills from core game, but haven’t done any Skill Challenges:

My Level 80 character will get 400 points, so I am not able to get all my traits and skill from core game. I need to hunt those 65 Skill Challenges/Hero Challenges to get all traits and skills open. I need to do extra work for character who already have opened all traits and skills. Only because Hero Points will be earned only from leveling and Skill Challenges.

So I do understand why people are worried. They have now at this moment opened all those skills and traits, but if they are not doing those needed 65 skill challenges, they are not able to open them all after the Specialization update.

Yes, i created completely different password. There were no similarity at all.

This is all too strange. Problem is that even hours in “View you recent sign-in activity” seems fine. I searched net and it seems that there is no way to alter this informations.
The only thing i never did was changed email password (i did this today).

But there are lots of questions. Why i had like 5 mails to change password on thursday when all this started? If they had all data for my mail why they needed 5 attempts and didnt delete these messages? Also why didnt i receive authentication mail when they log in for the first time (every time after hack this option was disabled)? The only idea on my mind was that they had my email password and thats how they controled everything but still puzzled with “View you recent sign-in activity” results.

I ran Spybot Search and Destroy and nothing was found. I know its not best (and its free) but nothing. I am really carefull and basically never clicked any suspicious links.

Yahoo and gmail was infected by Heartbleed vulnerability. And it was suggested that all Yahoo and Gmail users would change their password. That Heartbleed vulnerability is now fixed, but it really means that you need to change your password after that fix in yahoo mail and gmail.

I have a hunch, that all these hackings are happening just because of vulnerability in Yahoo and Gmail, maybe in some other free email system too. It is not ArenaNet’s fault if hackers got your email address and password because of vulnerability of another partner server, in this case Yahoo and gmail.

So please people, don’t blame ArenaNet for the problem what is not their fault at all. ArenaNet infact have done really good job for trying to minimum their playerbase’s losses. They have given the best support for all players who have been hacked, and done what they can do in this kind of situation. You all should be thankfull for ArenaNet.

Only thing what you can do is change your password right now, if you are using Yahoo or gmail and if you haven’t change it after that heartbleed incident.

And because mass media started to drumming this heartbleed vulnerability in public, it was like invitation to all those hackers, if they can use that vulnerability somehow. And yes, they did use it.
