I had all but one mastery point that I needed to max out all my Tyria masteries at launch, and then got that one in Fractals by accident. So I don’t know whats difficult

Yes its the only way because building legendaries is SUPPOSED to be about mastering the game at least to some extent. It takes Very little time to complete one reward track. But sure, join the other pve crybabies wasting wvw space by idling because they don’t want to actually earn it.

people are still QQing about anything that kills them, even when it’s super easy to play against and bad (DH). devs remove amulets right left and centre, because they can’t balance and just try and appese the QQing forum (who just want to to be able to 1shot everyone).

Haters been hating since launch. Won’t ever change. Play what you want and focus on getting good at it. Its just a game, not a job. You don’t need to play anything for anyone.

That was my main reason for this post, and I feel like most of those complaints stem from the fact that people take too long to figure out what marjory means by using the bloodstone crystal. Or people have yet to realize they have a dodge button

I always kind of laugh at these threads, because I was on the minute HoT went live, and the nerfs have been real. Current HoT is a cakewalk compared to what it was when it first went live. HP difficulty has been nerfed into the floor, enemy damage and numbers have been reduced, terrain hazards have been all but removed in some areas. I recently revisited a few a few HPs on alts I had been actively avoiding because of how maddeningly frustrating they were at release, like the champion frog in the canopy over VB, or the Mordrem in the abandoned temple at the low area of the start of VB, only to find that the frog had been turned into a commune, and the champion Mordrem had been turned into a vet. Let’s not forget the Vampire Broodmother who could insta-heal herself to full in the canopy too. There have already been plenty of nerfs, and the difficulty scale has reached a point where it’s fun, but not unbearable. Anymore, and it’s going to become as mind-numbingly easy as the rest of Tyria. I’m not normally one to say this seriously, but guys, git gud.

Agreed. Glad i didnt have to type out my own response cause this covers it. People need to stop crying about things and just learn how to play it. I had 0 trouble roaming solo on the HOT maps on exotic zerk ranger before the first nerf. Please stop trying to make the entire game beginner level people.

The solution to the wvw problems is not to remove an aspect that is clearly popular among players but to make core wvw more appealing. Complaining that eotm is too popular and therefor ruining your version of wvw is short sighted and just silly. Right now if all they did was remove eotm, people would still have the same complaints about the current state of wvw. Throwing more players into the mix might make lower tier servers more active but people will still complain about BLs. Tactics will remain the same. Nothing changes except that there are some queues on servers that didnt have them before. A band aid fix that would probably not go over well with a large portion of the community. Forcing players in doesnt make the gametype better. Fix the gametype, make it rewarding and the players will show up.

Getting a team that isnt made of fail is more work then i care to put in. The rewards don’t interest me and people only want certain classes and builds to beat it. Sure i could rebuild my Ranger or design a new class for it but I just don’t care. My endgame has always been wvw, as I bought this game to war with guilds. So just waiting on these “big changes” to breath life into it again.

Considering the dragons in tyria are the entire plot of the game, yes.

I have nothing to stay for. I’ve reached my peak in pvp/wvw performance. Just above average enough to stomp most people but not noteworthy enough to gain anything from it. WvW in general is kind of a joke and the community I used to love has fractured and become toxic/salty. I’ve got my ascended gear for the two characters I care about. I’ve made the [NOW] only legendaries I’ll ever make. With no new greatsword to work for and the sour taste of broken promises for content I paid good money for I have no desire to log in anymore. Maybe in a couple years I’ll have a reason to check it out again, but for now logging in just makes me angry.

I don’t really know or care who exactly is to blame for the fall of gw2, I just know that it is on its death bed. If they don’t do something right soon and make up for their extremely poor planning and decision making I’m out.

I’m a “Ride till they die” type of gamer. Every MMO I get into I’m there from day one til the day they shut the servers down and drag me out kicking and screaming. This will be the first MMO to sour my enjoyment of the game so much that I willingly abandon ship.

The apologists here defending bad business baffle me. Yall can make excuses for this crap all you want but most of us will speak with our wallets and not keep paying for scams.

I feel ya. This really bummed me out. My favorite game is going downhill fast and I feel robbed of the money I spent. Unless they fix this, I’m going to be done with the game. Wife and I have both played since beta and we feel absolutely betrayed by this decision to cut content that we paid for.

I am absolutely livid about this decision. I paid for content that should have been ready and delivered in one package. I’ve been patient as hell waiting for this drip feed of updates. But now you want to just up and cancel it because you dont feel like working on it? This is NOT good business. This used to be my favorite game and I’ve put a lot of time into it. But this has put a real sour taste in my mouth and I don’t think I’m going to want to spend another penny on anything from arena net or ncsoft.

Your interest is greatly appreciated! As of the moment we have four. Warrior, Guardian, Thief and Engineer. =D We’ve been building our guild a lot!

Clan O’hara is a small guild and I plan to keep it that way. I have a team design I want to try in WvW as a sort of special ops type group. Designed solely for attacking small objectives and flanking. We fight for Tarnished Coast.

The Guild is brand new and I’m not done preparing my Warrior for this team just yet. So I’m not opposed to newer players or people who would need to start a new character to fill the role should they be interested. I would be happy to assist in leveling. I want a team who wants to build something with me.

I’d like a team that can play very regularly and want to make new friends. I believe friendship is important to a team, especially a small one.

However the team will have a specific structure, lead by me the Captain. I’d need people to keep with certain rules in order for this to work.

1. Entire team race is Asuran [shorter the better]
2. No bright, glowing or unnecessarily flashy weapons. We need to stay under the radar.
2. Members represent at all times. Without representation the guild can’t grow stronger. I want a team who wants to be on this team. Dedicated players.
3. Chain of Command. Higher rank’s call takes precedence in battle and for guild policies. Democracy has no place on the battlefield. However Suggestions are encouraged.
4. At the moment with no members I can’t realisticly set a designated amount of time to spend playing together [entire team] per week. However once the team forms there will be a certain amount of time per week that the entire team needs to be able to play together. Team building exorcises in PVE, Dungeons, PvP and WvW [not necessarily ALL of those every week. But every week we must play together] We will learn to work together, develop strategies that work for the group, and learn how we play together.

I am looking for the following

ASURAN
-Thief
-Mesmer

I need One of each to form this team. I myself playing Asuran Warrior.

I cannot find a screencap of the Warden Shortbow in use. As I’m sure everyone is aware by now, the preview of the the Warden weapons are incredibly misleading.

So I’m hoping some one here has a screencap of one actually being used. So I can better make my decision on which T3 Cultural I’m going to purchase.

Well humans and cows are both mammals.

Plant life is just as diverse as animal life. So it’d make sense that the sylvari would sustain themselves on lower plant life just as Humans do on other animals.

An Onion isn’t a baby sylvari =P its an Onion.

The first sword is Infinite Light of Accuracy or Runic Blade (they share the same skin).

Second sword is a Corrupted Sabre.

I pulled that off of the GW 2 DB, not from first hand knowledge.

Excellent now I just need to figure out how I can get a sword that looks like that. no luck in TP
