Hello. I submitted a ticket early on 10/20, I received a response on the 23rd, answered it with all the required information, and am waiting for an answer. Wondering now if my account had been compromised even though none of my items were missing…..

After 3 days received a response from support requiring more information. It’s been almost 2 days since i responded… Why does it take so long??

I wish that customer service would respond to my ticket so I can actually play this game and have my account reinstated. Was wrongfully banned along with thousands of other players for real world trading…. Check out the account issues forum: it’s sad.

Lmao. There are thousands of players being banned unjustly. I have never participated in real world trading. I have maybe 4 gold across all my characters. I am not someone who will spend $ on a video game other than the initial cost. Please stop flaming and don’t come crying here when you get banned for NOTHING

Too bad I was banned for real world trading, not botting. Get a life

It seems some people have immediate responses with customer service, while with some it takes forever. I’m not sure about your situation, Biggie, but I know with mine it seems like it is insanely easy to fix. I have NEVER sold gold or bought gold with real currency and yet I was still banned. My account has never been compromised or hacked so it should be easy… I don’t get it :/

I’m basically 100% sure that my account has never been attempted to be hacked either… Just logged on the other day in the same place i logged out with all my items, started playing, and BAM! banned

This is very frustrating. I spent $60 on a game that I have been banned from for doing NOTHING wrong. It has been 3 days and not even a word from support. There are so many people complaining about being wrongfully banned it is ridiculous. I have played countless MMO’s in the past and have NEVER witnessed anything like this… still waiting for an update on my ticket….

Yeah lol I once i found out I didn’t have to work this weekend I had on thing on my mind = GW2. I started playing saturday morning was in the middle of my first dungeon run and BAM… banned

Yes. I mean I understand mistakes happen but I’ve never had anything like this happen before. I’m not sure about the details with your wife being banned but with me there is just no way that I could even be accused of real world item / gold trading. Never done it, never talked about it, never thought about it. I hope our issues get resolved quickly and best of luck to you and your wife. =/

Yes I know, all we can do is wait. It is just very disheartening seeing as how I was really getting into the game after a month or so. It kind of makes me think twice about devoting a lot of time into this game now. Never have I even associated with people who do or have done what I have been accused of. It is very confusing to me how it was detected that I was selling or buying currency wrongfully. I mean I’m only level 45 so I have nothing to sell lol

So I was in AC explorer mode and all of a sudden I get an error stating that I have engaged in the activity of exchanging guildwars currency for real currency and my account is permanently banned. I have never engaged in such behavior and am quite frustrated as to how I could get banned for something i’ve never done or even discussed in game or out.

I already made a ticket and I’m sure when reviewed I will be unbanned but it is still frustrating. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and what was the outcome and how long it took? Also, how is it even possible to be banned for something that i’ve never done? Like how would that happen? I was never hacked and never had someone try to gain access to my account, i was playing in a dungeon at the time.
